Honestly Speaking, Comparing Cowbell to Peak is like comparing Molue to BRT.

Peak is in a league of it's own.

No NG domain has been deleted of disabled. NIRA said it will delete domains that have not moved under an accredited registrar, 30days after their new system goes live. That is why they have set expiration of all domains to the 13th of June. Besides many NG domains that were registered for free are still working.

You can use a whois script to access the status of any NG domain. Their whois server address is:

whois.nic.net.ng

Those guys are so incompetent. They have actually moved over to a new platform. This they did without notifying even accredited registrars. During the migration period, the nameserver settings of many domains were reset to Nira's default. That is the cause of the downtime affecting many domains. Annoyingly, since the accredited registrars have not been given login credentials to access the new system, nothing can be done at present.

A whois lookup shows that my domain's Namesevers are now set to:

It all depends on your pocket. If you are restrained by a low budget, go for Acer. But if you have a fat pocket, you might want to consider Dell's XPS or a Sony Vaio.

All you people criticizing Adeboye are just being mischievous. The RCCG has million and millions of members Worldwide. Among them you have thousands of multimillionaire and even billionaires. So what is wrong if a group of these members decide to come together to buy a Jet for their pastor?

This thread reminds me of a biblical event in John 12:3-7:

3.Mary took a pound of very expensive perfume made of pure nard and anointed Jesus’ feet. She wiped his feet with her hair, and the house became filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

4.But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples, who was going to betray him, said,

5.“Why wasn't this perfume sold for 300 denarii and the money given to the destitute?”

6.He said this, not because he cared about the destitute, but because he was a thief. He was in charge of the moneybag and would steal what was put into it.

7.Then Jesus said, “Leave her alone so she can observe observe the day of my burial, 8because you will always have the destitute with you, but you will not always have me.”

The Level Of hypocrisy Nigerians exhibit is indeed very sickening. The same set of People that lavish unjustifiable amount of money on trivial things like GSM Handsets, Cloths and shoes. And spend extravagantly as if there no tomorrow on events like marriages and birthdays without considering the plight of the poor, are the ones now raising an accusing finger at someone else.

Why not take a look at the man in the mirror first.

What you bought was a Netbook and not a Laptop. There is no way you could have gotten a brand new Laptop for that price. Netbooks come with very limited features and cannot perform most of the tasks that your laptop does. It is basically a Gadget for accessing the Internet.

I find it baffling that the agnostic Christ Hating crowd are here giving advise, when it is obvious that this guy is seeking biblical solutions to his dilemma.

@ Poster,

If you do not go to bed hungry, then there is cause for concern indeed. Please seek the attention of your Pastor Regarding this issue. If you do not attend church, I would recommend you worship with MFM, then ask to see the pastor after service.

God Bless

I am a Christian but the "Word you talk about was written by humans.
It was written by men that were inspired of God and in some cases, real eyewitnesses to God's awesome deeds. Just like when you pick up a newspaper to read; the journalist is giving you an account of a true event that occurred. Look at the bible in a similar vein.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

Maddock & abhosts, what i realy meant is that people are abusing the priviledge by turning themselves to COPERATE BEGGERS, all in the name of soliciting for air time assistance from the public, this makes the muslim to make jest of us. If any pastor dont have money to go on air,why not start a door to door evangelism. For the contributor that talked on sms and phone calls. Do you demand of money from whomever you call or send text to?
Soliciting for contributions to keep a religious programme on air is not begging. That is the way it works even in the united states. Every single programme you see on television has sponsors. Even Circular programmes are kept on air by corporate bodies that advertise their goods and services during it's time slot.

When I was growing up,you will see people coming to your houses to evangelise and bring people to God. Some will get your contact address for follow up.

But these days what we have now are pastors and in most cases and their wives coming on air and television as host and co host of a Christian program. At the end of the program they will be soliciting for money from the public to be able to sustain the program, they will display on the television an account number were you are to send the money to.

Some will just preach for 10mins or 15mins and next would be how to send the money to them. If you watch Christian programs on a Sunday, most of them are begging for one money or the other, while some a specific on the amount you are to give, like Bishop Lanre Obembe is always asking for 1000 a month. So you can see where we are coming from.

I now start wondering if they are forced to preach on air, what has happened to our door to door evangelism?
Answer to your question:

Why do we use SMS and Emails to communicate with our friends and loved ones? Why can't we hit the road every time we wanna say hi? Afterall, that was the norm when we were "growing up".

@ Dual COre,

Thanks for the response, I just subscribed and my 2500 has been deducted which means I sent the code to the right place, But when ever I try to connect it says Failed to connect to network.Either Modem is used by another application of is not configured properly, I also chose MTN Nigeria Nigeria and its still thesame, I use Nokia 2600 Classic and I connect Via Bluutooth, Please do you have a idea of what the problem might be??Or perhaps I should go to their Office,

I called their customer care and one dumb lady told me I cant connect using phone as modem except I but the 16k Modem, angry
Your connection is not properly configured. Even when you manage to connect, 2600 does not have UMTS or HSDPA, which will make your browsing a harrowing experience. The N2500 bundle only works at night.

But if you are really in a hurry to bail out on MTN, look out for Zain's 3G or Edge Coverage in your area. Zain's 3G is next to MTN in terms of speed. Starcomms is only ideal if you are a night user.

Patronizing Zoom is at your own peril. When they are slow, they are really slowwwww. If you have Zain's EDGE or 3G coverage, go for them -- they are pretty stable. But if it is their GPRS coverage you have, forget it.

If you can wait on MTN, the better. Those others, I have tried them all and MTN still comes out tops. MTN's problem is probably temporary. I heard they are doing an upgrade.

Nigerian Banks charge for almost everything nowadays. But, from personal experience, I think GTB is relatively better than others in this regards. The officer that handled your request is to blame for this oversight.
