cabali:Typical Nigerian Bad Belle. Big Nigerian companies (Like Aero Contractors) have deployed Interswitch on their websites for bill collection and it is proving to be very effective, so please keep your phony concerns to yourself. @prosper This is a good initiative and it should be applauded. A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. However, the greatest hurdle before you guys will be to win the trust of the Nigerian public. I wish you guys well. |
biina:Your posts are only betraying your bias about this matter. Have you ever heard of a mathematical term called ratio? Even if Churches outnumber Mosques on a 10:1 ratio, is that not suppose reflect in the demolition agenda as well? But guess what, zero mosques are affected. |
As they say, a leopard can never changed it's spots. Even before Fashola became governor, there has always been an influential anti-Jesus movement in Lagos, that are usually hell bent on destroying anything that represents Christ. These faceless goblins are mostly muslims and that explains why the exercise is always targeted at churches. The above churches are headed by highly educated men, so the issue of building without requisite approval is very unlikely. This is simply a case of shifting the goal post during a ball game. Just like in the past, this exercise is bound to fail. China is a typical example that you cannot stop or slowdown the tide of Christianity. Even when the Communist Government of china has banned any form of church gathering that is not approved by the state, Chinese Christians have mostly resorted to home churches. Tens of Millions in China now worship in home churches scattered all over china, especially in rural china. Jesus is Lord |
I bought dollar @ 173 today. |
I wonder why Zain's data policy is different from the others. A few weeks ago I bought their Huawei USB modem with the 3G enabled SIM. I now inserted that SIM into my phone and I was surprised to see the 3G signal appear instantly. Ironically my normal zain SIM card could not even find a GPRS signal and still cannot till now. Zain should please step up their game. With MTN, all SIM cards are 3G enabled. |
evanox:Yes, it is a general problem. Give them some time and all should be fine. Their data network has grown exponentially within the past few months and this has made such comprehensive network upgrade inevitable. |
The response this thread has received shows how oblivious many people are with regards to modern day prostitution in Nigeria. Wake up and smell the coffee. Campus babes have taken this business to a new level. The popcorn thing is just a bait to know whether the guy is a stingy or a generous fellow. Evidently, to show that he was a good prospect, she requested for his phone number shortly after. These girls are mostly university girls looking for customers. They are wolves in sheep's clothing. |
damola1:You want to boycott Abokis now? |
It is a general problem. MTN should be aware of it. |
Those statistics will soon change. Etisalat now has the momentum, especially after visafone increased their tarrifs. |
dearstan:Their Addresses appear to be on buyright.biz homepage. If you have a friend or relative in lagos, simply send someone over to any of their offices to find our what is going on. If your order has not been shipped, let the person take delivery of it for you. And if they do not have it in stock, request for a refund. They have been around for a while and it is unlikely that they have turned scammers overnight. |
MTN would only start deducting money from your balance when you have exceeded your monthly data limit. Type 2 and send it to 131 to check if you have exhausted your data. To be sincere, MTN's internet service is one if the best in Nigeria at present. I have used Starcomms, Reltel, Zain and Etisalat but MTN still comes out tops. |
I am not usually in a hurry to judge men that hit their women because most of the time, women can really push men to the wall when they begin to spew their spleen. I know a man that hit his wife for the first time affter about 14 years of marriage. This man was a perfect gentleman and was one of those who believed that it was barbaric for a man to hit a woman. But you should see the way his wife would repay him. She treated her husband with so much disrespect and condescension. One day, while they were arguing, the man snapped and gave her a dirty slap. What could have made a perfect gentleman hit his wife after 14 years of marriage? |
That is like comparing a toyota corolla with a Benz S Class. They are not in the same category. The omnia is in the range of the Iphone and HTC's Touch. |
The funny naija mentality is the reason why shopping at the palms has become hell. Most of the folks that come to shop at the palms have local convenience stores in their area that can easily meet most of their needs. But because the palms has become a status symbol of some sorts, many people would prefer to drive from Surulere to Lekki to buy basic stuff because they do not want to be left out of the charade. Why for goodness sake would a lady go to Mr Biggs at the palms with 5 friends from Ikeja, when she would have passed several Mr big outlets before getting to Lekki? NAIJA Factor |
It is now N160 to $1 at the Parallel market. I hope this trend continues. |
cube63:Not Bad at all. But 21k is on the high side. What happens when the speed starts to slow down like starcomms? |
Wow! I can see some Webmasters on Nairaland are very "current". Does it even occur to you that you are responding to a question that was made 3 years ago? |
Is it that hard to read the header information of an email? The header says: Email Originated from: CPUIbadan@intercontinentalbankplc.com Was sent to: dayo.coker@gmail.com Was Copied to: CorporateAffairs@intercontinentalbankplc.com So if the blogger did not make this stuff up, it means that the bank’s corporate affairs department is fully aware of this email. Be that as it may, since the CBN has given this bank a clean bill of health, I think all these rumors and bickering should stop. |
Anybody that hails from the Southern Part (West, East and South South) of Nigeria has no moral standing to Single out the Igbos for tarnishing Nigeria's Image, as they all are equally culpable in such regard. It is only the northerners that can be excluded; they comport themselves better when outside the shores of Nigeria. |
Very Pathetic speed indeed. Even Zain's Edge Internet access is far faster than that. |
Another useless inconsequential thread that is given front page preeminence. Beats me why the admin always targets Sundays to put up stuff like this. |
Wonders shall never end. Everyday, a spammer is born. |
May God bless Fashola. Nigeria would be better served if we had people of great intellectual vigor, like Fashola Scattered all over the country. An area like otigba that is suppose to house highbrow homes and offices was gradually beginning to take the shape of mushin. |
The both of these guys write in a very comparable manner. There is a striking resemblance in their grammatical constructs and general demeanor. Just thinking out loud anyway. |
What is the reason for your selling? |
insight04:No, You have to book online at least 2 weeks in advance. |
It is only in Nigeria that you will see one individual making use of seven different mobile numbers. Many Nigerians own MTN, Zain, GLO, Starcomms, Mutilinks, VisaFone and Etisalat lines simultaneously. What is the wisdom behind this dreadful development? |
Their 3G Coverage is very poor. I get more of EDGE. Download Speed: About 6KBps I still use my MTN 3G despite Zain's free surfing because it is so reliable and relatively fast. |
