It's standard practice all over the world when war breaks out. I expected a corridor to be given for foreign nationals and diplomats to be evacuated. Good it's now happening and Nigeria can evacuate her citizens too.

If you had watched Legend of the Seeker, you would know some things are meant to happen for the prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jesus predicted his death and resurrection.

The Book of Jonah was written about 760 BC. Almost eight centuries before Jesus was born and Jonah predicted Jesus' death, and his resurrection citing a case study of his.

So there was no way Jesus would not have risen.

She does not really know how to talk, she talks carelessly and I see her more as a liability to her husband's political career. She needs to learn the charisma of what it takes to be a first lady.

She just talks like she is under a spell. Even abroad(in US and even UK), patients reject doctors based on color and language, what then is she saying?

I join drag am for twitter sha, she go get sense by force.

He's a good man, but our hyper toxic Igbo brothers jeopardized his chances.

Igbos need to change their tactics they're too lousy abeg !!! undecided

That's how they made Tinubu to get sympathy votes from those who would have naturally voted for Obi by their rude, abusive, uncouthness and bad manarism.

Don't make it a tribe thing, because those I have physically met aren't from just one tribe but they aren't motor mouthed, whereas some of the ones I see online that support LP are overly motor mouthed and uncultured.

This kind of women who talks carelessly deserves no place near the corridor of power, as they can get intoxicated easily.

I have never heard Sanwo Olu's wife made any case in public even while her husband was vying for the position the first time.

Make your points, petition the police, and stop directly making a personal attack on the governor.

I wonder what would remain of her and her husband after election, if Sanwo Olu wins.

This is the first time they are getting noticed, and they are ready to burn all bridges, learners in politics, even peter obi never went this route attacking anyone with his words.

Anyway, Sanwo Olu any day anytime.

I’m 2019, buhari win Lagos narrowly. 500k votes to about 400k votes

For governorship, Sanwo olu won about 700k to 200k votes
Do you know how many people that voted Peter obi that are voting Sanwo Olu
The 580k votes that Tinubu got won’t decrease, but the votes of LP will definitely experience some swings. It takes just a small margin of swing from LP to lose

Una go learn politics by fire by force

A huge number of my friends that did not vote last time are coming out to vote this time, and they are voting Sanwo Olu.

I have some contacts in Ikoyi club, omo, they are rooting for Sanwo Olu.

Well, that aside, for me, I am for Sanwo Olu any day anytime even though I know he has some obvious flops, but the devil I know is better than an angel championed for me, who has never managed even a local government before.

Atiku greediness destroyed him, in life not every opportunity is for you to grab, there are some opportunities that look good outwardly, but are destructive, pdp had the opportunity of producing the next nigeria president especially with the failure of buhari's govt, Atiku should had influenced the pdp in chosen a marketable southerner and match the person with a popular northerner and by also making sure there is no division in the party, it would have been a foregone story by now because pdp would have won easily....

Anybody who says we are dealing with Oluomo should provide the evidence. And we don’t have any problem with mobilisation in Lagos State.

“We don’t have any challenge at all in INEC Lagos State. All the arrangement is going on smoothly. We are not aware of any court judgment because nobody served us any court papers. The issue of Oluomo does not arise in the first instance. We are going on with our arrangement and we don’t have anything to fear.”

We told them o. We politely educated them that the judgement is Dead On Arrival, completely useless and does not in any way helpful. INEC needs the bus owners/drivers and not the other way around.

In fact, it is political naivety to not know that INEC is even lucky to get those guys to partner with them; they are experienced Lagos bus drivers with street credibility which comes handy to douse tension.

LP in Lagos is just ridiculing itself before LAGOS INEC REC. smh.

They think they have corper's whose lives don't matter to their parents kwa. The local drivers know their ways and how to escape in case events go out hands. Everything isn't just about elections, corpers' lives matter too.

Politics / Re: “Supreme Court Order” Versus “Presidential Address”: Which One Supersedes? by abimic(m): 5:39am On Feb 17, 2023
NwokoloOwa:
The Supreme Court is the highest arbiter in the country. The Courts interpet the law. Not the Executive, not the Legislature. A court judgement is a process, its a marathon, not a dash. In between that process their are orders, rulings, etc.on various aspects of the case. This is so, so that all parties are given opportunity to present their own side of the case. This is clear to all countries practicing democracy and even so monarchies.

The Supreme Court was clear on the interim order granted on the Naira redesign. The President just disobeyed a valid court order for reasons that are not explainable. Its unfortunate.

I blame the AGF for not advising the president properly except the president has a hidden agenda because the so called big men have access to this money maybe not in the quantity they would want.

BluntCrazeMan:
There is something here.

We all know that the CBN is answerable to the FG, but it is independent of the FG.

In the suit filed against the FG by those states, they didn't include the CBN as part of the defendants.

Thus, they have absolutely nothing to do with that particular suit in question.. Even though they were part of the main reasons the suit existed in the first place.

So, you're saying that the Supreme-Court is very right is issuing orders to them??

Something like,, Mr.-A took Mr.-B to court (say, a high-court) for an issue that concerned them both..
But somehow, the court needed Mr.-C (who never knew anything about the court-case) to stay indoors for one-week, regardless of his personal engagements.

If the Court gives such orders to Mr.-C, while the suit between Mr.-A and Mr.-B continued, is the court doing the right thing?
Should Mr.-C refute such orders (by maybe, trying to appeal in a higher court)??

What if Mr. C is answerable to Mr b, what if Mr. C takes orders from Mr. B? So it's not wrong to take Mr b to court since I know whatever I decide for Mr. B would bind on Mr. C. Meaning your analogy here might not stand.
