General Yakubu Gowon (31 years old)
He was born on October 19, 1934. Following the assassination of Major General Aguiyi-Ironsi, the second Nigerian president and the first military head of state on July 29, 1966, Gowon took over.

And guess what none f them were good leaders, age is not the metric it is education, they all did badly as leaders both in t past and inte future, we need an educated person from the age of 40-60 as a president no younger, because you need some sort of life experience to lead this country

Let them keep decieving themselves with their calendar. So even when Corona virus was called Covid '19', did they call their own Covid '12' since we'll assume that they were in 2012 then when the world was in 2019. Most of their athletes who compete in athletic championships, do they follow the world calendar or theirs? and when they win medals do they document it with their own date? If I'm booking a flight to Ethiopia today using their airline, is it 2013 I will find on their website? They will soon recover from their illusion.
When foolish people speak it’s very funny, this calendar was created thousands of years ago. And you are calling it an illusion. What about the Chinese or arabic, so we have to switch to the western one for what reason. I’m not Ethiopian but your still an idiot for this comment.

we have $6b to invest in eko Atlantic that Nigerians can't afford, billions of naira to maintain refineries that's useless, billions of naira to give to politicians as allowance but no money for electricity
Funny of you to think it’s a government project. It’s fully private funded, so I don’t know what your complaining about. But yo7 can always trust a Nigerian to shout about things he has no clue about, especially the dumb ones.

[quote author=SUFFERInSMILIIN post=93485948]That is the biggest mistake which Nigerians are make Nigeria cannot come out of it. The problem is Nigeria not the government Nigerian all over the world only wants to vote for a criminal you cannot change them . If you could to develop countries you will find Nigerian professor Give reason why Nigerians must support a criminal. 95% of Nigerians leaving the country now in Nigeria can do nothing for them. But when they get to another country the first thing they want to do vote for a Nigerian criminal .I am sorry I am talking like this to you but illiteracy is our problem

Just look at Ghana South Africa India China Lebanon and now Cyprus. In all of these countries Nigerians went to vote for Nigerian community leaders now that they are dealing with Nigerians where is the Community leader which they went to vote for no where. This is not Nigeria but it is Nigerians in other countries making the same mistake with their stupidity and illiteracy
[\quote]

That’s not true, stop stereotyping with no evidence whatsoever. My auntie and uncle and a range of other people family friends included from Nigeria stay in the U.K, and they don’t vote for Nigerians, stop putting Nigerians under one group. You are part of the illiterate Nigerians that you speak of.

This is the type of illiteracy I am talking about America is America and not Nigeria.
Nigerians are so illiterate they believe another man's country belongs to them go to an airport in America which I have traveled to and see what they do to Nigeria. If you go to YouTube and see how Nigerians are complaining how they are treated in American Airport. Let me just tell you something the person at home is the same person abroad he cannot change Nigerians worship criminals in Nigeria and they also worship criminals in America. They can never change the only difference is America is another man's land when Nigerians contribute minimally.
If you say so

Well they will need new computers, a remote hub for storing all the data, trained personnel, a headquarters, new offices, at most that is 850 million surely. I don’t see 3.1 billion dollars, I love Nigeria but this is inflated.

Which Nigerians help to design stadiums in South Africa name them illiterate. Is South Africa Nigeria is UK Nigeria is American Nigeria this are different countries. Do countries have their own government their own laws and everything in those countries are not even controlled by Nigerians. in the UK today 76% of Nigerians are unemployed and Nigerian is number 14 Africa in employment in the UK. in America Nigerian is number 9 Africa in employment. In Nigeria the dash professor and doctorate degrees like water. From your Masters two years later you can become a professor in Nigeria. This is the illiteracy I am talking about I have been to 17 African countries and I have been to 16 country out of Africa. In other countries Nigerians are just like dogs fully themselves go to South Africa 92% of Nigerians are unemployed. In UK and America you see Nigeria professors and doctors jobless nobody gives them job. Nigerians likely telling themselves they are big but in reality they are just fooling themselves. My Nigerian people are like this they will run to another country with somebody else has built then they start opening their big mouth when most of them abroad are prostitutes and drug dealer 75% of Nigerians in America and fraudsters CIA report
And where did you get those percentages from, pulling numbers out of your ass.

I am Nigeria when I open this thread if you read my word it is from other African countries to show their development and their surpassed the giant of Africa I have been to 17 countries before in Africa. Eko Atlantic is a total failure the project is 600% over budget and it is only 25% complete. These are the white elephants which Nigerians are specialised. There is no business in the world which is 600% over budget and can survive that's why you don't hear much about it these days also you don't hear much about dangote refinery these days because they are in massive catastrophic date
It isn’t a white elephant it’s a private owned development, so the government has nothing to do with it, if it goes other budget, that’s the private companies business and I know for a fact that is hasn’t gone 600% over budget, but continue in your delusions, their funny.

Please read the document above Nigeria is behind of South Africa and Kenya this is a Nigerian professor in America said it and which is also part of the American Institute at a university
That’s just an anecdote, nobody cares about anecdotes, we need actual data, but of course an illiterate wouldn’t understand that.

The first one is the same post in its current ruined state. Yes they exist and are attached to the Obunkwa Shrine of Ohafia. They contain images of animal spirits reverred in Igbo religion (Odinani). I spot an alligator there. As well as details of trophy human heads as the Igbos of the Aro Confederacy were headhunters and human skulls were seen as sacred and containing power (the head). It might also have fertility associations as the top seems to be of phallic shape. It is a totem.

I believe Igbos from Ohafia need to reconstruct it.
I see very interesting, I wonder if there are any others similar to this spread around that area or if this is a unique object or custom.

Walls of the Hausa city states. Although it is almost completely lost. Most cities in the north had great walls, the most popular being those of Kano. They were used to protect and fortify the city. They were built over a period of 39 years from 1095-1134 it was started under king sarki gijimasu and was finished and expanded by king zamnagawa.

Ile ife potsherd pavements, long before the Europeans came to Nigeria, in ile ife there were paved roadways going through the whole cities. Made of potsherds ( fragments of pottery) basically hardened clay dried into mud, to create a pavement to walk on, it started in the 10th century after the Queen got her dress messy whilst walking to a shrine, so she ordered for all roads in the city to be paved. And ever since then they continued it up till the Europeans came.

Excavation sites below.
