Health › Re: Sad And Depressed!! I Am In My 20s And Impotent by ABSTRUSE: 11:48pm On Oct 21, 2019 |
Hope777: Always thought securing a future is always about working hard today and reaping the benefits tomorrow, however I am a now convinced that this is only an ideal case and your future is not in your hands like people say. There are external factors that interfere with our future.
I have basically been a hardworking person right from school, working hard to ensure my parents are proud and giving my best in any way I can. Unfortunately it seems like I am not destined for the great future I have always dreamt about.
I noticed early this year that I have a condition that makes me impotent. I can get erections while laying down but lose it while standing/sitting (I wouldn't mind if it will always remain this way but I hear it only gets worse) I visited several specialist doctors and it appears they barely understand this condition and end up saying it is psychological.
I have done my research for a long time now from global writings and forum and discovered I have a venous leak: this is a condition where the veins in the male genital drains blood faster than the inflow of blood through the arteries making normal erection impossible. This may be caused by an accident/damage to the veins.
There have been times where I have had traumas to my genital but I never thought this will be an issue and didn't even notice this condition because I haven't been sexually active.
Now from my research there is no cure to this condition and it only gets worse (meaning even erection when laying down may go eventually).
I have been depressed and sucidal; I feel like there's no point to my life if I can have such a damaging condition. Not being able to have sex isn't the problem, however the pyschological trauma this gives me about my future is the problem. I am still very young!! Will I ever get a wife? The thought of not being normal kills me!
I wonder what I did to deserve this, I am sad, depressed and sucidal. Why does God allow bad things happen to people? I feel I am running mad because I cannot stop thinking about this. I just want to sleep and not wake up, or discover this is a dream if I do. Cc: dominique could you move this to. You are not alone. I empathise with you though. |

To date, this is what I still dnt understand:
Are we saying the victims of this fatal accident can't get any form of relief (against the oil company, the Federal Government and the State Government) from the courts?

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Uba Or Access Bank? by ABSTRUSE: 5:05pm On Sep 30, 2019 |
Generaloluseye: They don't pay up to that monthly. But their allowances like quarterly and upfront pay is much and that compensates for the low pay which is around 160k Technically, this is how much Access pays. They help you get a car and deduct 80k from ur 259k salary till you finish paying up. So at the end of the month, your take home 179k. Clear now? Unless you talking about Contract staffing which I have no idea. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Uba Or Access Bank? by ABSTRUSE: 1:14pm On Sep 30, 2019 |
Generaloluseye: Though I have not worked there but based on colleagues opinion and the rate of turn over, I will list them in no particular order. First bank, GTbank, Skye Bank ( except when there was a tsunami around 2015-2018)Union bank and stanbic ibtc. All the newly established banks in Nigeria are a very good place to start a career or to give too now. E.g providus, SunTrust, Titan trust, globusand Taj. If can get a job with standard chartered Bank, Citibank, then you should not worry about loosing your jobs all in the name of targets.
N.B. FTE ONLY OH Me I'd like to know what the highest paid banks in a particular order. This is why Access stands one of the best in the country. You mean you'd rate First Bank and Skye Bank over/above Access Bank? Wonderful! |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Uba Or Access Bank? by ABSTRUSE: 12:25pm On Sep 30, 2019 |
Generaloluseye: If it is FT job. Pls go for access. UBA is not a good place to start a career, although you can always move there as an EH and leave after some time. Access is also not very okay because it is a space camp too but it is far better than UBA. So, in your opinion, what banks in Nigeria stand above all? What banks can we say are very okay? |
