Putindbutt: Your papa house dey among?, you no fit to go build your illegal structures in your region.
A war foretold does not claim the cripple's life...........Ndigbo have used their tongue to count their teeth! Your plans are in the open nah! I only pity those who are unable or unwilling to move their investment eastwards!
A moral police on social media has called out Herbert Wigwe's oldest daughter for not standing to greet the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima.
The user shared a photo of Tochi Wigwe sitting while accepting a handshake from Shettima during one of the events organised to mourn Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe who died in a helicopter crash. He then shared photos of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote standing to shake hands with Shettima.
He wrote: “Same Man, different regard. Whoever that girl is,she lacks proper home training. You don't shake a person old enough to be your father while seating down.”
A couple of other social media users from the North also berated the grieving daughter.
However, many defended her.
Na the same people who celebrated a lavish birthday 7 days after her family was wiped out, na dem dey complain say she rude! What rudeness is worse than the one showed to the Wigwe family by those demons!!
kenny714433: We'll always want to live in well planned environment that looks like Vegas, but at any given point, we'll rush to cluster houses like rats.
Go get the damn approval and do the right thing. Nigerians are naturally chaotic, noisy, uncivilised and unplanned people. The beautiful pedestrian and green areas/trees over here has been taken over by street traders.
You leave shanties staring you in the face everywhere and go pull down homes you are unable to build!
paxx: Seyi Tinubu as the next Governor of Lagos. If it's about the interests of Lagos, this would probably be the best move. He can probably create the greatest advantage for Lagos right now.
Not debating if it's right or wrong, just saying that based on current realities.
Maybe he will leave his daddy alone to concentrate!
paramakina202: I understand the hate is real but too much hyping, boasting attracts envy and jealousy just as Prof Chinua Achebe mentioned in his last novel 'There was a country' we should learn how to manage our success with maturity. We should rather be advertising and projecting Aba in more positive way for investors to take advantage of current situation of 24/7 electricity in Aba.Peace!
I wonder what you will say about Americans that claim that they are God's own country and hype their achievements morning ,noon and night!
gidgiddy: That is a big lie, but even it were true, one small busy area was displaced? Why are we seeing military operation in Agatu Benue where 500 were killed? Bokkos Plateau where over 400 people have been killed or Danko-Wasagu Kebbi where over 100 people were killed and armed bandits are now collecting tax? And their problem is Orsu? Laughable
Are these not the camps of ESN under DOS...........What about Simon Ekpa's BLA ( biafran liberation army)? Its like a quid pro quo arrangement! We give up ESN camps ,you release MNK on bail!!!! Let us see if MNK will get bail oin like two weeks time!
Babinski: The fall of Intercontinental Bank was not due to the over leveraging you allude to in reality. The bank was given a clean bill of health by CBN Examiners just a few months before Sanusi came in and then ordered another set of examinations that had to be done 5 times to get the his desired result to achieve his objectives. Till today the Report of the Examination is yet to see the light of day, which is curious but not surprising given what Sanusi set about to achieve.
Is it not surprising that the MD/CEO appointed to manage Intercontinental Bank was Mahmoud Alabi, a known stooge of Saraki who immediately set about writing off N 8 billion out of over N 11 billion owed to Intercontinental Bank by Saraki and consequently returning back the collateral to Saraki? How do you explaining choosing to write off well collateralized loans in a bank you accuse of having systemic challenges?
And forget about your story of fending off Access Bank. Access Bank and its chief promoters (Aig and Wigwe) were indebted to Intercontinental Bank to the tune of over N 25 Billion and yet wanted to buy Intercontinental Bank for N 50 Billion? Was that not a joke? The money that Aig and Wigwe used to acquire Access Bank came from a N 16billion loan from the same Intercontinental Bank and they never paid back!
Na wa o! How come Erastus did not go to court? Why did the media "die" the true story ? This is one reason I diss the so-called Lagos media most of the time! They can spin any fact into fable! The same Sanusi that is playing victim today!!
HNICEARTH: Most bigoted nigerians dont understand what elon was trying to say.
"Politics is tribal...", he wasnt implying tribe like igbo, yoruba, hausa or fulani.
He was only trying to explain that politics is local or politics resonates more with a people when it's been affiliated with what they understand or gravitate towards to than logic.
If you gravitate towards religion or your tribe, then your politics will always be igbo, hausa, yoruba, fulani, Islam and christianity.
If you gravitate towards better education, better economy, better infrastructure, then your politics will always resonate with that
you dey mind the mentally immature crowd wey full nairaland!
christistruth01: Ifeajuna confessed to shooting Balewa dead Balewa’s body was examined before burial by detectives and Doctors His spine was partially blown out by the bullet Detectives found the bullet that killed. him
By the time Osoba saw the body a week later it was well decayed
Anybody could have shot him "after the fact"..........Osoba said to my own hearing that Balewa died of complications form an Ashthma attack! I think a story on this is on njenje media tv on youtube! I definitely do not support the coup but let us try to straighten out some of these facts! I still maintain that British Intelligence was involved in that coup just as they were involved in Dimka's coup! We Africans must learn to know who are mortal enemies are...............
Babinski: It is better to state facts rather than unsubstantiated allegations in your bid to tarnish the image of a man. From claims that he hijacked Intercontinental Bank from Igbo owners, it has now come to labelling the Chairman a "mumu" and bringing up additional allegations of using bank funds to buy shares, engaging in underhand dealings and running the bank like his personal fiefdom?! You need to be careful how you throw these unsubstantiated allegations around.
No Bank MD/CEO in Nigeria is a Saint. In respect of personal loans to directors, almost all if not all the banks in the country have done that severally. Go ask Tony Elumelu at UBA, Aig-Imohkuede and Herbert Wigwe at Access Bank, Jim Ovia at Zenith Bank and several others.
You just agreed partially that Erastus that is asking for equity has stained hands! The truth is that Erastus almost turned the Intercontinental bank into his own personal bank........cos the chairman increasingly had limited or no control over him anymore! That is why he over leveraged Intercontinental bank, with a balance sheet top heavy with physical assets but not enuff cash to fend off Accessbank ...................Erastus true to type took opportunity of the chairman's ill health and naivety to take unmatched control of the bank...well Nemesis caught up with him, as it has also caught up with the wigwe guy!na so world be!
Mille: Meanwhile as we speak, there are thousands of you loaded into night buses and trailers on their way to Lagos. Everyone in that landlocked shitty region dreams of coming to Lagos. The unlucky ones wey remain never get transport fare and accommodation money.
So aliens are the people living in onitsha and Aba.............More Igbo people are relocating sef........the next 2 years will be epic!
christistruth01: With all Humility Those who murdered Prime Minister Balewa in the 1966 had sworn an Oath of Loyalty to Protect the Government and people of Nigeria
Balewa ,Akintola ,Sarduana were slaughtered with Swagger
christistruth01: Balewa was shot dead in a very wicked and cruel way by those whom he had trusted with his life
Segun Osoba was a cub reporter in 1966,,,,go and read his interview on the state he found Tafawa balewa's body when it was found on lagos abeokuta expressway.....he was a witness!
christistruth01: Balewa was shot dead in a very wicked and cruel way by those whom he had trusted with his life

Babinski: Get your facts rights before rushing to comment and paint anyone in bad light. Dr. Raymond Obieri was still the Chairman of Intercontinental Bank while Dr. Erastus Akingbola was the MD/CEao as at the time it was taken over by Access Bank. No o e has ever come out to say Akingbola hijacked or stole Intercontinental Bank from anyone. If you claim it, please provide evidence.
Erastus used his rights as a director of the bank to borrow funds to finance his purchases of intercontinental bank shares! sidelining all other directors including the mumu chairman! He ran the bank as his personal fiefdom..........we know the full story........including his underhand dealings with RCCG
ibrocool: Do you know that kidnapping is also happening in all the states in Nigeria and it is getting rampant. Do you think it is the Fulani that are operating in all other states? I don't think so
70% of the farmaland and higway kidnappings are done by the fulanis!!!!!! na dia own worse pass!
SoNature: The problem of Lagos State is overpopulation. The island is much decent because the cost of living around there is high. Despite that, you will see a bunch of homeless people overrunning pedestrian overpasses the next day after its commissioning.
However, the solution is simple. Tinubu should work with Akpabio to restructure the country so as to reduce migration to Lagos. It's as though all the jobs in Nigeria are in Lagos. That is, you must live in Lagos to make it in life. That's not how to plan a country.
Tinubu and his group of Lagos politicians are moving important government institutions and departments to Lagos, thereby worsening the situation. Decentralise the country. Instead of concentrating everything in few places, spread them to bring about widespread development across the country.
APC should be sincere with its leadership in Lagos so that they don't need any area boys to rig elections for them in the future. This is understandably why they support a lot of thugs and don't want to rehabilitate them.
What I find particularly disturbing is that many tourists visit Lagos and use Lagos to form their opinion about the country without knowing that there are much saner parts of the country. They see Nigeria through Lagos' lens. Those foreigners who visit Lagos don't have good things to say about the country. I saw one shouting that everywhere smells in Nigeria after visiting Oshodi!
I have a lot of write, but I don't want to write more than this.
Lagos has a peculiar latrine smell, it is as a result of massive dumping of raw faeces and sewage in Lagos Lagoon for nearly a century....at iddo and ebute ero end in earlier days....I grew up in Lagos island in the 1970s and 2000s......You do not have that smell in other parts of Nigeria!
ibrocool: Looking at the present state of the country, the issue of kidnapping will most likely be reoccurring. The only way to curb it is to stabilise the economy. This is a daunting task that not only the government can do. It is the responsibility of all the citizens of the country to contribute to the development.
I pray we won't get to the situation where people that have food at home will be afraid of getting attacked by those that are hungry.
The fulani bandists have been operating in the north for over 25 years ...so what exactly are you talking about! The president should bring in foreign mercenaries to decimate the sahelian scallywags!
Bintasukai: You guys have been saying this for decades. Na everyday una dey finally know, una no go tire. Yet only Igbos voted exclusively along ethnic lines.
You must be mad......igbos did not vote for Obasanjo,Jonathan and yaradua.......show us the Igbo man you tribalistic ppl have ever voted into piwer
Zxcvbnmghtr: Obi is referring to his people by the fact that they are the only one who voted for him based on tribe and religion. This is a FACT! 🤣🤣🤣 It is obvious their stands as to the present economic challenges.😂😂😂. Tribal and religious bigots.
Obi won ahead of Tinubu in Lagos but it is the same Lagos that Obi's tribes men make a mockery of when they protest against the current economic challenges. Do you see the tribal sentiment. 🤣🤣🤣
see dis mumu...The southeast voted Obasanjo twice, voted Jonathan twice and voted Jonathan are they Igbo too.................you accuse others of what you are patently guilty off! Upon voting on tribal and religious lines una still killed and maimed people on top! Carry your demonic soul outta here!
Objectivist04: Ok those are the ones you suppose to post here, you don't post a tiny road with open gutters and call it transformational . Honestly there is nothing spectacular about that road. You should have just posted it in Anambra thread and leave it there...
BTW is Ekitit and Ondo still states in Nigeria ? We need to amplify this question
What is wrong with the roads posted.......so you will prefer that it's not paved at all...oga you have no point!
