A Letter To All Job Seekers.

Dear Mr /Mrs / Miss Job seeker,
If I say I don't understand the frustration and humiliation you have been going through every single day in hope of getting a job is an understatement.

Loss of jobs, unemployment and mass retirement is a global trend the world over. From Greece, Italy, Spain, UK, and the United States there is a massive downsizing in every single organization, even fortune 500 companies are not left out. Big names like Yahoo, Google, Apple, Ericksson and others are all downsizing thereby sending more job seekers into the already over populated unemployment market.

Coming back home, the downsizing made in the banking sector which as affected several banks such as the former Intercontinental, Oceanic and others like Fin bank, Zenith, Wema, Afribank, Union bank and several others has nothing to do with the CBN governors bad policies but only a reasonable step each bank had to take to maximize profits and have a clear balance sheet.

The problem why you are still jobless is either you are too pompous and arrogant to start small by taking little jobs like sales representative or customer service agent jobs even though might not pay well or give you that job satisfaction, but will enable you clear some of your bills or you are too arrogant to apply for certain type of jobs like the opening made by Dangote for trailer drivers.

What ever decision you have been taken why have made you remain jobless, remember that for each job openings, there are over a thousand people fighting for that single position.

Also, may I inform you that most job openings you see in the dailies and on the internet are facade? As the top executives of those organizations already have their personal people to fill up those advertized positions.

Nigeria like anywhere else around the world runs on Networking, meaning those who know the right people in the right places are the ones that get fixed in job positions easily. While the menial positions are advertised for the masses to crumble over.

My advice is, as time waits for no one and you realize you aren't getting younger by each passing day, remove you coat made of Pride and Shoes made of Arrogance and take up some jobs you didn't find attractive or appealing enough before you read this letter.

I have seen people get employed as cleaners and office assistance but due to their humility, intelligence and hardwork, they rose to senior management positions within the shortest possible time. To the amazement of other staff of such organization.

A lot to be said but I will continue later. For now reflect on your life and realize there is no job irrespective of the pay package and job scope that will ever satisfy you. So why don't you get a job today while you look for a better on that eating and sleeping in your pride while other forge ahead and live you behind.

If you are desperate to be seen driving a car then go and put in for a job as a driver, danfo driver or car hire service driver (any fleet company).

That is the exact thing I am saying but most of them don't understand.

I have a job that consumes my time like hell. I can get a call that in the next 2hours I should be at the airport. I have siblings I need to keep intouch with every single day. Some few friends who will take hours on each call (except I am busy), crazy clients that call up to 2am at night. I don't have time that much for myself not to talk of a girl then to make matters worse, 2 others at that.

Ladies too should feel free to how they cope double dating.

Though I know all of them will want to for the holier than thou attitude and refute the claim that they cheat.

I am a very bad liar. Once I try to lie, I will give up instantly. Also I don't know how to be sneaky. I drop my phones anywhere and anyhow. I just threaten to get annoyed with my girlfriend if she picks up my phone but she knows its only a mere threat.

I missed 3 solid dates within the past one week because she saw my BBM chat and the scheduled time of the different dates.

Also I spend heavily on my woman so I don't think I have excess to spend on a second and third.

All these are the reasons why it quite difficult for me to double date.

Most of my flings even always end up being my Ex, female friends or people who confess their crush on me. It is always stressful starting up a new relationship when I am already in one.

The alleged crimes were parpetrated in Nigeria and NOT South Africa so they soth extradit him back to Nigeria and let him face his trial here.

Jonathan should stop playing politics with the citizens of Nigeria. Enough is Enough.

Both the december and March bombing, Okah was in South Africa, if our security agents couldn't perform their duties to catch the main people who planted the act, then why rope Okah for both crimes (he hasn't even confessed to).

Ibori was sent to face trial in London because that was where he laundered money to.

Lanre Shittu was flown to USA to face trial because that was were he committed his drug trafficking and money laundering.

So therefore, Okah should be sent back to Nigeria to face his trial here.

Enough of Us selling out our citizens.

South Africa isn't International Court Of Justice so they lack the merit and power to try Okah for a crime committed in Nigeria.

How Do Guys Cope With More Than One Partner?

I find it amazing when I hear or see guys who boast of having up to 3 girls friends at a time (not flings). As a guy this is something i have never bothered trying. Once I am in a relationship, I stick to that partner (Emotionally and financially). Not that I don't get to have steady flings from time to time, but keeping up to 3 girl friends at a go is killing.

I would be the type of guy that will be termed 'very responsible'. Meaning I cater for my woman's basic needs and a little excess when the money is available. Even if the lady is richer, older and more sophisticated. It has always been my way.

I treat her like a brother, father, friend and lover by sharing experiences and advicing her. So doing all this with two other girls will probably drive me nuts.

Guys please how have you managed to cope with 3 steady girl friends over a period of time?
