Back then in the university, 3am is my holiest of the holy hour. That's when I dismantle the hardest calculation, understand and internalize the toughest topic. ![]() |
There is no way Tafa Balogun would have risen to the post of Inspector General in a police force like this |
I hope the same thing could be done in Nigeria. Sometimes, I wonder if our men in black do exercise at all except to finger their trigger. ![]() |
@Mr. Globe, Speaking about Onlytruth with such disdain by you is downright insulting. So u are a brother to a cretin? I don't know what is wrong with u guys. Don't guys have any shred of decency? I'm disappointed. |
@Mr.Chippychappy and Olodostein, I don't know why you guys should be taking dig at Anambrarians all in the name of attacking Chino11. The comments from u guys is highly regrettable. Can u imagine if we behave like both of u? We've already repudiated Chino's attitude towards our brothers, but u guys continue to have none of it. We have issued disclaimer too. Don't let me believe that u guys are massaging your little insecurities. As far as I'm concerned, we are more embarrassed by Chino than u guys. Sometimes I wonder if he's truly an Anambrarian or an Yoruba troll. So pls keep us out of your attacks. Take a personal dig at Chino. Throwing disparaging comments at Anambrarians by u guys amounts to collateral damage. And this is unacceptable. |
People tends to forget Dekumzy. The dude behind the hits such as Yori yori by Brackets, Me and u by Brackets, No time by Brackets and Psquare, Kereke by Stormrex, most of J. Martins hit songs, most of Slow Dogg hit songs, etc |
thehomer: Why not make them available to medical schools in the country to help in educating the next generation of medical students?Have u ever visited Anatomy department of any medical school in Nigeria? In case u've never paid a visit, they are overflowing with corpses/cadavers. To the extent that they are selective on the type of corpse to accept. Most only accept the corpse of suspected criminals who are executed through extrajudicial or judicial means, cos those corpese has lower chance of being diseased. They hardly accept corpses of those who died of known pathology, especially the ones that can be transmitted. Though they are aware that formalin treatment will almost sterilize the cadaver. But they almost never take that risk. Cos doing so will expose their students to risk. |
bonysmile: This story is crap. Absolute nonsense. Well u may get d gullible ones with this shit story of yours. Mind you, when the network operator is supplying such information, they also furnish the closest base station or location of the subscriber where each recharge card was loaded. Again its laughable for the police to use such means because that will amount to the police now collaborating with environmental protection agencies to rid our streets of all dirt and rubbish so as to avoid picking up the wrong used recharge cards which may have transported to other places by wind or rain. Please stop confusing people with your unfounded stories.Very sensible! The mofo wants to scare us with his fairytale. |
yipayipa: Please, my dear friends, don’t throw away your used scratch cards again. Make sure you tear them to pieces or possibly get them burnt after usage. [s]This is because criminals; armed robbers, assassins, terrorists, rapists etc have devised a new technique of escaping from the law. Thanks for the info. Don't spoil your message with "scare tactics" |
Abagworo: I used to get emotional with chino11's derogatory remarks but I've learnt to ignore him and his other usernames. I've always been a one Nigeria man and will always be but I will forever defend the Igbo race if we come under attack by anyone. I love my Igbo brothers and all my Naija brodas too.Now u are talking like a man. I must confess that your outward show of effeminate emotionalism gets me angry most of the time. You knew that we have cautioned Chino many times, but he refused to abandon his cyber embarrassing acts. But, u always respond in a way to insult we Anambrarians. I learnt to ignore your tantrums too. Concluding that u are probably a tenager. |
There is nothing wrong with the cremation of corpse. Their morgue must be overflowing with unclaimed corpse. Moreover, there is chronic shortage of land to be used as cemetery. So cremation is the best option in this situation |
Is it a crime to be a fast learner? I hate to study in the company of slow-learners. That's why I would want the Nigerian educational system to be reformed so that everyone can learn at his/her own speed. |
martyns303: am not ruling out the possibility of coronary thrombosis, embolism or other forms of atherosclerosis, however the post specifically mentioned "tingling sensation" which i believe compouled with the situation is a symptom of Hyperventilation, the sufferer usually gets unconscious during which time normal breathing MAY return, however due to her age and probably weakness of the artery it may result to Angina. or maybe thrombosis. You can't believe everything that journalists write. He's not trained in the field and can make wild assertions out of his ignorance. That's why u are a medical practitioner. The tingling sensation might be side effect of her medication. Coronary thrombosis, embolism or atherosclerosis couldn't have killed her so fast. The plausible explanation for her death is the one offerred by Nagoma. There is an adrenaline rush on the background of cardiac insufficiency or intrinsic myocardial damage in an elderly lady. The above is the primary cause of death. This cause of death is not uncommon and medical literature is overflowing with such cases of death. |
nagoma: She obviously had a surge of adrenaline and increased cardiac output. The coronary circulation could not cope with the demand most probably due to athrosclerotic narrowing aas suggested by Buzugee. This resulted in reduced blood supply to a section of the heart muscle producing a myocardial infarction. Tingling sensation which is a non specific usually neurological subjective symptom is not uncommon in heart attack situation especially in the fingers. This event is similar to what occurs when people die watching a football match or other excitement. Death during intimacy activity is often not due to actual physical exertion but due to this type of emotional burst of adrenergic activity. No wonder death during love making is usually with an illegal partner and more exciting.I never knew that you are versed in this field I erroneously thought that u are only here to defend the northern and islamic interests. You are becoming an interesting character to me. I think I should take a second look at u. ![]() |
martyns303: beside cardiac arrest, can u please remind me how a tingling sensation is a symptom of coronary thrombosis?Where is the tingling feeling? martyns303: Atherosclerosisconditions are usually accompanied with sudden and severe chest pains. maybe am wrong.Yes you are right! But it cannot lead to her sudden death. The symptoms and signs of angina pectoris will manifest when 90% of the coronary artery has been occluded. This buys time for surgical intervention. Even when there is total occlusion, it can only lead to myocardial infarction of the area supplied by the occluded coronary artery. I doubt if atherosclerosis of the coronary artery is the primary cause of her death. |
moderatorr: she was killed.I dey cover my face for u. #IFeelEmbarrassed# |
uzoholdings: U see, obama is a full member of the church of satan, retuals will be going on here and there,is quiet unfair it happens to the woman.Who let these dark age apes loose? ![]() |
antsut: Obama is Illuminatus and many ppl are so blind to see it even in the present of overwhelming evidence. The greatest con the Devil will ever pull is to make you believe he doesn't exist!First class mumu with his conspiracy theory |
buzugee: simple enough case. she has partially occluded coronary arteries that dont carry enough blood and hence oxygen to her heart. she sees obama. she is very excited and this triggers tachycardia. the tachycardia demands that she needs more oxygen and blood flow than usual to her heart. however the coronary arteries are partially occluded and cannot let enough through fast enough. her heart collapses. BANG. HELLO GOD.Yes you are right! She has a history of heart failure and on medication. Her condition was exacerbated by the elation of meeting her president. So sad. RIP ma'am. |

MOBBDEEP: Please, do not start making war at me. I'm self-righteous enough to know that what I did was wrong.I'm proud of you for admitting your mistake. You'll go far in this profession if u continue like this. Cheers ![]() |
"Take banana" by D'Prince is hot! Download it here. mp3skull.com/mp3/take_banana_d_prince.html |
One_Naira: copying and pasting without understanding e no good at all. Dede1: The copy and paste artists on Nairaland are local agbaya. They are really out to decimate people with ignorance.Sometimes I feel embarrassed by all these copy and paste specialists. The annoying part is the passion with which they argue using their copy and paste junks. |
T9ksy: Ol’ boy, abegi just quit while you still have some saving graces to fall back on. So only psychiatrist can diagnose and treat schizophrenia? I laugh again in psychopharmacology. You are very dumb to opine that any other health professional can make a diagnosis of schizophrenia. This is the problem with arrogant folks like u who acts like they know all. You can't get every information from the internet. FYI, only a psychiatrist can make a diagnosis of schizophrenia. Aren't u tired of exposing your ignorance on this forum? Psychiatrist is a trained medical doctor who specialized in the field of psychological medicine. Again, only doctors can make diagnosis of any condition. They are the only health professionals trained to make diagnosis. No other health professional! Only doctors can be held responsible for any claim of mismanagement by the patient. Why not visit a clinic run by a nurse when u are seriously ill? DSM1V or ICD-10 is not for you neither does it arm you to make diagnosis. What do you even know about DSMIV? If you really know the condition called "schizophrenia" and how vast the topic is, then u dare not comment so ignorantly. In clinical practice, there are Bleuler's 4As, Schneider's 1st rank symptoms, etc which are more important in schizophrenia diagnosis. Besides, how can someone who is not trained in the field differentiate between shizophrenia and schizo-affective disorder or severe depression. I'm tired of reading blatant ignorant comment from you in your bid to sound smart. |
microgiant: yes, but i didn't use it. people stopped accepting it around 1975.It's not true! I used it in the 80s |
MOBBDEEP: * For 1, I stand to be corrected, I remembered telling him 1st to see a shrink. There is no justification to prescribe a drug to any patient whom you've not examined, even if it is vitamin C. Patient's information can be misleading most times. Thereby necessitating doctor-patient interaction before treatment can be commenced. Prescription based on the information here alone is the worst form of malpractice u can ever commit in the profession. No one can defend your actions if the long arm of law close in on u. |
Some of these astonishing wealth women acquires during divorce in western world makes me to be proud of being a citizen of this hell-hole called "Nigeria". Can u inagine sharing my lifetime wealth equally with some gold-diggers in the name of divorce? ![]() |
microgiant: yes, late nineties ![]() I remember when I stumbled on my mum's money. They were about 5 bundles of 20 Naira notes(highest denomination then), 10 bundles of 5 Naira notes and about 10 bundles of mixed 1 Naira and 50 kobo notes. I took only 4 notes of 50 kobo(N2). I went out with my friends painting the town red with kulikuli and sugar cane with only 50 kobo. Some people reported me to my mum, who promptly ordered some hefty men to bundle me back home. Thereafter, I was given a beating of my life. Well I took solace in the fact that I have N1:50K left to do big boy for the rest of the week. ![]() |
The 50 kobo coins shown here is the most recent one. I think 50 kobo was once in notes. Can someone confirm? |
Whenever I tell people that I used 1/2 kobo coins in the 80s, they don't believe me. |
