I need your advice here... I am a single guy in his late twenties and I truly believe in having at least a relationship that will be up to 18 months. Lately, my interests has been in ladies of early twenties... Like 20, 21, 22 and I rarely have taste for the older ones.

I need advice from others that have gone through this about going into it or not. Will they be matured enough to go into a serious relationship despite the fact that they might have finished Higher College / University?

Bros go ahead! You are on the right track. There is nothing wrong in dating girls that are in their early 20s. You will be amazed by how matured they are, and how experienced they are. The danger is in dating girls that are 20 and below. Girls below 20 are so immature in their judgement. The most annoying thing about them is that they hold on to their ignorance and warped view stubbornly. Girls below 20s need a lot of grooming which you might not have time to do. But girls in their early 20s has been groomed to an extent. Besides, they are not as desperate for marriage as girls in their late 20s. Though all girls tends to take decisions based on their emotions, but I can tell u that it is much reduced in the girls in their early 20.
On the other hand, those early 20 girls tends to be real. Therefore you will have greater visibilty of her real self, while girls in their late 20s tends to obscure their real self with pretense. This will enable you to judge her suitability in marriage.
Girls in their early 20s are fun to date. I can assure you that you will enjoy every bit of it. You can easily take her to the alter when your juice take the unplanned route.
One thing I noticed is that women age faster than men. Since u are in your late 20s, go for girls in their early 20s. They are the suitable candidates for marriage when u are ready.
I will sincerely advise u not to go for women of your age.

Girls in their 30s has a higher chances of delivering imbeciles. Girls lie a lot about their age. So a girl that u presumed to be in her late 20s might actually be in her early 30s(how u will find out is by asking her when she finished secondary school - most finish between 16-17yrs). Girls below 20s are frought with a lot of birth complications. So I strongly advise that u should go for girls between 21-23yrs. They are fun to date.

digitite: Eat organic food rich in Anti-oxidants and fibre and fruits. Like corn, beans, all nuts (coconut,groundnut,walnut,etc), vegetables; eat fish and moderate your meat intake. Excersie like 30minutes a day and make sure you sweat even if it is using skipping rope inside your apartment. stay away from microwaved junk foods, acidic drinks and all that. Drink like 5 to 8 cups of clean water a day and also stay away from polluted areas.

We have organic food in Nigeria but it seems "civilized junkfoods" are replacing them which is quite unfortunate.

Some poorly preserved groundnuts contains fungal toxins called aflatoxins. Aflatoxin is implicated in liver cancer. So groundnut is not ideal. Cancer is genetic. Though some foods are implicated like smoked meats/food(throat cancer - suya eaters beware grin

), low fibre diet like indomie(colon cancer), groundnut(liver cancer), etc. Some are helpful e.g. Fresh ripe tomatoes(prostate cancer). But basically, what determines whether u suffers a particular type of cancer has been encoded in your gene, before u were born.

Jemibee: I lost my mom to breast cancer on the 6th of january, 2009. The symptoms are: hair loss, weight loss, affected sight, memory loss in some cases (last days), loss of appetite......mehn the thing though no be small. May God help us all

Hair loss was the side effect of her chemotherapy. Impaired vision and memory loss was as a result of metastasis to the brain. Loss of appetite was as a result of metastasis to the digestive tracts including the liver. Weight loss was part of cancer syndrome. It is called cancer cachexia. She must have had an intolerable pain too. My sympathy. I can understand that her cancer was inoperable, and that's a horrible way to die. Her prognosis was too poor from the picture u painted. Cancer is bad. Advise your sisters to visit the nearest health post and request to be taught about Bre[i]a[/i]st Self Examination(BSE). This is aimed at an early detection of pathology in the br[i]e[/i]ast inorder to institute appropriate treatment and cure.

Ofcourse, back in secondary school. Our power supply was too epileptic. You have to be very careful to avoid getting your cloth burnt. The iron is notorious for staining white cloths. I never used it in my primary school cos I don't mind if my cloth is rumpled(I was less conscious of my appearance then).

Mine was when I was in the womb. My mama was about to enter Chanchangi. I furiously resisted her decision by giving her some hard kicks on her womb. Mum was stubborn. She finally boarded the flight. The plane was galloping mid-air that I was terribly rocking inside the womb. It was a horrible experience. I thank God that I survived. cheesy

Nice question! This is a form of cancer that grabs my interest immediately it's mentioned. I'm so much interested in it because it runs in my family. My great-grandfather suffered it. My grandfather got his prostate removed in 1990. Two of my granny's brothers has already done a prostate removal surgery called called prostatectomy. It reoccured in one of them and he has since succumbed to it.

Prostate is only found in men. It functions to nourish the spe[b]r[/b]m. It is the only organ that continues to grow throughout life. Its diseases can be prostatitis, benign prostatic hypertrophy, prostate cancer, etc. Prostate cancer is a disease of the elderly. It occurs in mostly people that are 50 and above. Though it might occur much earlier. Its symptom can vary. But some of the important ones are hematuria, waist pain, constipation, urinary incontinence, weight loss or even dysuria, urgency, terminal dribbling, frequency, weak stream, etc. Its symptom is related to its degree of spread.
It can be detected early, and when this is done, surgeons aims for a cure. Some investigative modalities like Prostate Specific Antigen(PSA) can predict the transformation in the prostate. The result of the PSA will guide the surgeon on whether to perform biopsy. The treatment is often called radical prostatectomy. Again the choice of the surgery is determined by the degree of spread of the cancer.
In late stage presentation, surgeons aims at palliation. This involves the removal of the influences that aids the growth and the spread of the cancer. Surgeons often remove the testis with the administration of drugs that blocks the androgen production in the body. They call it total androgen blocade. The aim at this stage is to alleviate the patients
symptoms and prolong his life.

There is no specific early sign of cancer. Most of the symptoms and signs you mentioned are also associated with late-stage malignancy. Cancer can occur in any body tissue, and each one presents with unique symptoms. Some of the symptoms that you mentioned can occur in terminal stage of cancer.

BTW, SIGNS and SYMPTOMS connotes different meaning.
SIGN: an indication of a particular disorder that is observed by a physician but is not apparent to the patient.
SYMPTOM: an indication of a disease or disorder noticed by the patient himself.
In essence, a layman can never notice any sign, but a physician can pick up the signs of a particular disorder from a patient.

Since there are no specific early symptom of cancer, there are factors that warns a patient of the probability of developing of cancer. Those factors are collectively called Risk Factors. Some of them are, positive family history, cigarette smoking, intake of oral contraceptive pill, exposure to radiation, risky sexual behaviour, etc

It is advised that people should subject themselves to thorough medical examinations every 2yrs after the age of 40
