this  singular action has killed investor's confidence. There is going to be a run on these banks. He could have asked these CEOs to resign instead of ousting them. How can you blame the Police? The Professor should have shown some respect.  The guys were out there trying to prevent an apparent break-in into his house.  Why can't he just show them an ID without being belligerent?  He deserves absolutely what he got in my opinion

If I'm mistaken, he showed his ID  but did not say his badge number in his house. the force applied by cop did not in any way meet the 'threat" exhibited by Dr Gates. The case should have been handled better by the cop with  a better outcome. This is a classical case of  "for having questioned me about my name and ID Number" I  must show you pepper. OK why not  case closed after seeing he is the rightful owner of the apartment. Why taking the case further to the police station for him to be finger printed and mug shots taken?
