I think every man should insist on prenuptial agreement if the wife to be talks up marriage registry.
In fact, prenuptial should be done before marriage. This is the only way love can be separated from marriage scam.

prenups can't do shii if the assets the man acquired were gotten after he got married to her. Or if he took money from her to invest in the business or property even if he had it before he got married to her or if she works in the business or has represented the business in any way. Or if he used family money to invest in it or she and kids had to endure some cutbacks while the asset was being developed....as long as her lawyers are good and can prove it in court. That business and assets will be seen as joint/marital assets and she can get it from you in whole or part. even if its your grandfathers business/property that you inherited. Ask Mark Zuckerberg why he did his Facebook IPO few days before his wedding. Besides a judge can also declare a prenup invalid if it's one sided and doesn't project fairness to both parties. The best way out is not to marry, the next best is to have a prenup before wedding and you can have a clause in ur prenup were both man and woman are liable to loose some rights to joint assets if found culpable to infidelity, physical abuse, neglect of duties...etc Ensure you list all your assets in your prenup and she does so as well and keep her happy. That's the only way to avoid a divorce.

it's not like the man already had those assets before he got married to her. She too must have made sacrifices abd contributed to the development and success in his acquisition of those assets. So she deserves to be duly and fully compensated. It's very wrong for a woman who has been married for years to one man and one morning he decides to send her packing empty hand with the phrase "leave my house" not putting into consideration the effort and sacrifices the lady has made, no matter how little or big She deserves to be compensated.

Depends on the offense, the level of connection btw both of u and what u re trying to achieve . There will be no need to resort to any of these if u let her know how u feel about her misdeeds and she is sensible enough to apologise and retrace her steps. However if u really want to punish someone, you hit them where it hurts them( not literally). For most women it's attention, if u deprive them of the usual attention you give tgem and focus it on something or someone else. I come from a family of academics, all through my life, i was practically raised in the university and i can tell you the problem with Nigeria is her educational system. Due to the massive attention given to degree holders over the years, a lot of person s who would have been better off going for vocational training in various forms of labour are forced to go get a degree. Now when these persons apply to these universities for the courses of their choice, its either they dont do well and are denied admission or they are given a totally different course that they have no interest in to study. Therefore you have someone who would have been a talented lawyer studying Fine Art, or a talented fashion designer studying Mass Communications, someone who would have been a talented Doctor studying History, and the list goes on and on. These persons come out and become misfits because the system choose to push them into a different area rather than horne those God given potentials in them. Also the issue of curriculum where u have computer science and engineering students learning fortran rather than current programming languages and trends, Students in 2017 are still being taught the same courses using the same processes used in 1987. Even the professors most of who are living in denial do not upgrade their books. More than 80% of Nigerian Professors do not know how to use a laptop at an intermediate level. Very few can comfortably type their full CVs without asking from assistance someone else. After watching Black Panther, i realised the power of education and its potentials which we tend to overlook and disregard in this country. Education goes beyond having a degree or certificate. Unfortunately that is the only aspect we see. Hence the rush for certificates and degrees and yet it is not being translated into factories and industries. The concept of being Unemployable only arises because people are coming out of our educational system and there is no place for them to fit in. Even if all the industries needed were built today, it will collapse because the persons we are churning out of our institutions are not competent enough to handle such infrastructure because the system did not prepare them for it.

Am 6ft and am even looking for a way to get taller. anybody who doesn't need their height should pls dash me. advice on ways to get taller would also be appreciated. Am 26 btw so dont tell me to eat beans....

I heard of a woman who never liked relations coming over because the husband who is a judge was fond of spending so much on relatives that little was left to run the house and pay bills. So she became hostile to relatives and they stopped visiting. She and her husband were able to concentrate on building the family. Fast forward to now. Children have all grown up, married and well settled. estates and investments well established. She is now the most friendly relation. She is always hosting parties and ceremonies and happy to have relations spend vacations and ensures they go with bags and pockets full. All the family members that talked ill of her in times past are now calling her a wise woman. She no longer bars her husband but encourages him to help more. Things are not always what they seem.

The question should be why is she behaving in such a manner? Why doesn't she like relations coming over?
Why is she shouting and talking too much? Was she like that b4 he married her? Why is she starving him in the other room? Lastly Why does he want to divorce her?
People do things for different reasons and you can never understand their actions if you don't know the reasons for it.

Well my take is very simple, those in Nigeria to marry those in Nigeria while those in Amerika should marry those in Amerika.

I have never asked a girl out, don't need to cos they do the asking. It has always been like that. they come off as sweet little angels at first but when they are turned down they become ur worst enemy. They start hating u for no reason. Back in the days one went as far as going to meet my folks while I was in uni and telling them I was spending hundreds of thousands on a school chick. Just to get me in trouble with my folks. Another thing I noticed is that whenever a girl asks you out she will never believe that you also did genuinely like her. its funny how women never take responsibility for their wrongdoing and find ways to blame it on the guy whenever they screw up. this woman cheated because she is a cheat and will continue to be a cheat. my heart goes out to the husband because he married a cheat. The trip the man went for was for him to be able to put food on the table and afford the nice things of life for her to enjoy and yet see how she pays him back. i don't care how sorry or how many crocodile tears she sheds it cant undo the fact that she is disloyal and dishonest. if the tables were turned you will see statements like "Men are scum". a man is expected to be loyal to his wife when shes having her menses, when she is pregnant, when she is nursing kids, when she is having a rough day etc, he should not seek solace outside even when he is in need of some intimacy, he should switch it off or self-service himself to death because he is a man and should be understanding, he should make sacrifices. but the same man travels for a few days and the wife is already screwing a stranger and she is blaming it on him because he travelled, forgetting that he would rather stay in the company of his new bride than spend it discussing policies and market shares. she couldnt keep herself in check, and like always the man takes the blame.

u have a point sha about we nigerians and our attitude to exercise. Some will also say that they have to make a lot money first b4 they do any physical exercise. Last yr on one Sunday service i attended there was this very fat lady that suddenly just collapsed and fell heavily to the floor even b4 the church wardens/urshers and those sitting close to her could hold her. In the evening we heard that she died in the hospital b4 the doctor and nurses could do anything. they said it was heart failure. Some young ppl also die in their sleep. Nobody is immune to high blood pressure be it young or old. If one exercises at least u reducing the risk of having high blood pressure,arthritis and having an improved immune system. This na wetin some of us nigerians no know. Bro if my wife start getting fat like a hipopotamus i will nag oo and i no go let her rest until she follow me exercise. If she complain about household work taking her time i will help her with it.i will make sure she has no excuse.

well said....go easy on the nagging. Instead just show her pictures of some hot babes who hang out with you at the gym and she will be motivated enough to follow u anytime..

The problem is the attitude of most women in exercising, I have lost count of how many times my dad has practically dragged my mum to the gym yet she resents it. we don't have a culture for exercising. If you see someone jugging down the street in the evening, you automatically assume he is a footballer or sportsman or she is trying to loose weight if it's a chubby lady. But people here hardly workout for the sake of keeping fit and healthy. The culture is not there so I don't blame these women cos they are not just lazy but also stubborn.
