By the way, Nigerian ladies na minus for me.

I remember when these ladies came na when we begin dey hear frictions for the twins.

After the whole years of marriage...no report of adultery or anything, she'll still leave you when Wizkid shows interest.

Great respect to the better girls out there!

A Nigerian lady will love you and still marry who is ready.

A Nigerian lady will love you and go meet sb who impresses her.

A Nigerian lady will love you and cheat on you and still play the victim card: “you see what you made me do.”

Drops pen.
Guy, I've been a victim of the bolded above....mehn you must be a prophet to know that. I owe you one boh for that.

Worst is that she called me back after a year or so into her marriage and started telling me how much she loves me and regrets hastening into her decision to marry the other guy. Fear who no fear woman I tell you.

No they are not interested in US equipments

They are greedily fixated on Afghan natural resources.

Afghanistan is so richly blessed with all the natural resources that if not for Islam they would av been among the world's most richest nation.

Their resources are so huge that the list endless - from chromium, copper, gold, iron ore, lead and zinc, lithium, marble, precious and semiprecious stones, sulfur and talc among many other minerals. The energy resources consist of natural gas and petroleum.

And it was rumored that they have a huge deposit of natural uranium - i guess you know what that means.

We haven't even talked of their poppy which they are the world's highest supplier - of course you know how very important and useful poppy is.
How about Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and the entire UAE are they not practicing Islam? How many European countries can you point to that is better than any of these countries?

Forget the shit you're fed on the internet European countries wey better pass them no pass 4 or 5.

Nobody's going any back and forth or on a merry-go-round. The issue is approached from where you're coming from.

You admitted outright that you didn't see any leadership qualities in Buhari. By this admission, who do you think would force you against your convictions, as Dale Carnegie said, "It's impossible not to believe what you want to believe.
Then at the end.... we're back to where we left off.

You've not answered the question.

I already said I admit I might be wrong due to the angle am looking at it from but you who have a better view of it should help but instead of helping to point out the attributes of quality leadership you find in him, you rather took the strength to dig up quote from Google. What's the point?

But how were you able to conclude that he has no any leadership qualities?

Have you done any research? And in the absence of that the will of the people is enough indicator to tell you that they've seen something good in him
There's no point beating around the bush bro. I admit I couldn't see beyond my nose but if you can help me out, pls do. Just any random 3 traits of a good leader you find in him.

You could have ended this whole back and forth of replies by just listing any 3 of them. No need for merry-go-rounding please

What does that about the one you voted?

I don't know you, but I assume you're iPoB and those are people who have a dislike for Buhari.

You can't do any worse, after all y'all have said he died last year.
I believe you read the short notice I wrote beneath the whole message. I'm not into partisan politics with you guys... I'm apolitical. Just a freewilled guy without any iota party or tribal affinity.

Instead of jump at the defence of the president, why not do his reputation some good and list any 3 attributes of a good leader you found in him?

I've already been foretold to expect some hits from your kind so am not surprised.

Let's reason like intellects and discuss things that bothers everyone of us objectively.

How much of a true leadership traits does our president have? So I felt the need to ask y'all to know if he's got any. Here's the question:

Name any 3 attributes of a good leader you find in President Muhammad Buhari.

In my case, I'd searched deeply but couldn't find any.

Let's hear your thoughts on this guys...

NB: I meant no harm to the personality of his supporters or the president himself. It's just an honest question that I feel it's worth asking.

when you put people in charge of important positions as rewards for service during elections, what you get is entitlement, irresponsibility, incompetence and all round embarassment. You cant run a government on the backs of Abu Zaria and Kaduna polytechnic graduates who have the mentality that they are in office "for their turn", not because they have the capability to deliver.

But really some home trained officers are as good or better than the foreign trained ones. It's boils down to the individual. But las las, we're all screwed up for the next 2 to 3 years by this PMB govt.

Seriously some people are bent on overheating the already tensed polity with fake report and unwholesome propaganda. To what end?

Is it how opposition to government is been played in other part of the country?
You can spite your President but doing all to ridicule your own country and it apparatus is stupidity and foolishness.
The person that wrote that letter to the columnist and your very self knew that you just need to sound politically right in the face of a known fact. It's not new that powerful men and women in Nigeria confidently brag about sponsoring/sending anybody they perceived as threat to jail at will without any recourse to law and fair trial.

Hushpuppy is just one out of the many influential Nigerian to have done so. In recent times, the same Lai Muhammad was in the news for allegedly asking the DSS to detain a young man for allegedly insulting him and sharing derogatory comments about his persona. And the man spent months in DSS nest without charging him to court, yet, nobody said anything about it.

We all know how it works in Nigeria. Yes, there's need to be politically correct and portray our security service as being professional but we all know there's nothing professional about the Nigerian security architecture nor their personnel.

To the best of my knowledge, it's got nothing to with being an opposition to the government. Is our security framework open to public scrutiny? Do we have human rights group that audit our cells and prisons periodically? What's our human right index ratings saying about our security personnel?

Are we ready to drop partisan politics and face the challenges bedevilling our country? Can you accept criticism of the government you support without thinking I'm just an opposition?

Answer those questions and let's start the long journey to nation building.

Peace.

The foreign office should have presented a petition to Nigeria and allowed Nigeria carry out its investigations first, and if guilty sanctions still lie with Nigeria
That's exactly what the FBI did. A court in the US that was trying the case of Hush Puppy found out in the cause of their judgement that there's an accomplice to the crime back here in Nigeria and they ordered the FBI to arrest the person. Then the FBI contacted our own EFCC which is an antigraft body here. Then EFCC alerted the IG of police and in all of these, there's no way to keep the media out of it b'cuz Hush Puppy's case has garnered public interest already.

So I really don't know what you expected. But on the case of trying the criminal here. C'mon we all know how EFCC and FBI extradite Yahoo boys at will. There shouldn't be any exceptions to the rule. Else, all the noise about PMB anti-corruption fight will be exposed for the world to see. The country already has its reputation tainted and anymore move to take side with a corrupt police head will only cement our sorry reputation as a heaven for corrupt practices.

The problem with bigots like you IPOD terrorists is that you don't see how much sane humans feel sorry for you.

Let your Allen Onyema step his crooked foot his mansion in Atlanta and see if he would not be sleeping in jail.

Allen Onyema's case is a worse yhan Abba Kyari's case for the following reasons.

1) Oyema's alleged crimes were committed on US soil while Kyari's alleged crimes were allegedly committed on Nigerian soil
2) Oyema is a private citizen while Kyari is a public servant. Extraditing a public servant may have some technicalities involved.

The reason you IPOD terrorists are happy about Abba Kyari's fall and want him hanged is because he is a northerner and was the one that arrested alleged Billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudimeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans
From a non-igbo/ipob Nigerian.

Enough of all these shitty tribal tantrums. Let's get to work on nation building and cleansing. Hand in the corrupt cop and let the dead dog lie.

Publicly shame and prosecute our corrupt politicians and public servants. Leave no one out. Let the rule of law applies to everyone irrespective of tribe or religion and watch this once great a nation becomes great again.

They are not serving officers of he State especially security officers, that's the difference,no need to play ostrich. If I have to play explain the many reasons a country must not allow that, then I shouldn't be having a conversation with you in the first instance

That said it appears Nigerians don't like the treaty that allows regular citizens respond to fraud allegation and be tried in the US,it was a good initiative done in the spirit of support and collaboration to ensure openness and make sure all fraudulent boys don't escape to Naija and hide under our soveriegnty to commit crimes

However if the US will use this same treaty in a manner that disrespects the country to humiliate us (despite full cooperation from Nigeria at the expense of its citizens) and potentially put National interests at risk, then it's time to consider revoking the treaty 100% , end of story.

I repeat again,we are a soverign nation any attempt to mess with our sovereignty outrightly or subtlety, any act that places it at risk must be nipped in the bud,we owe it to future generations of Nigerians

This matter could have been handled better by the US,let's call it what it is,it is a gross disrespect to Nigeria the way it was handled,an attempt to ridicule the country despite all the support they had received in their fight against "yahoo boys" by the country
Do we still practice rule of law in this country? If Yes, then there's absolutely nothing wrong in releasing Abba Kyari to the FBI since you agree they've been a mutual agreement between both countries to hand in criminals in a bid to contain internet fraud.

In addition, how best would you have wanted the US and FBI to go about this particular case?

Nigeria is in the mess we find ourselves today because some people are treated like they're above the law. More reason why our politicians commit crimes and walk away freely b'cuz there's always an exception to the rule when it's them.

I repeat again and again, irrespective of our sovereignty as a nation, any bastard that ire to the laws of any country should be publicly shamed and delt with.

Who is inviting you matters a lot. Citizens with proof of income invitation letters have high priority. Permanent residence invitation with evidence of income makes sense also. Lastly, the holder of a work visa can also invite you. Above all, you must show proof that you are employed or engaged in meaningful activities in Nigeria.

Dear Travellers,

A friend's planning to visit South Africa by December this year to see his wife-to-be (a South African) and he's asked me to help him create a thread here on Nairaland with a view to seeking advice from those who've travelled to SA this year or since the advent of covid on what to expect from Visa application down to arrival in Johannesburg.

The reason why he's particular about creating a thread about it is to gain a wider audience so that he'll have large pool of opinions to leverage on.

Major concerns:

What are the visa requirements?
What is the minimum balance one should have in his account before printing statement of account?
What is the safety procedures or covid protocol that must be adhered to on and before booking his flight tickets?
Does he needs to book a round trip flight tickets?
And is it a must to make hotel bookings from here considering he's most likely going to be accommodated in his spouse apartment?

He's a guest reader and I believe he's definitely going to see your responses.

Thank you for taking your time to read and comment.

Regards.

Igboho had CCTV cameras allover his house but the govt. hit guys destroyed and took away all the recorded clips. It's just a replay of Lekki tollgate massacre.

So asking them to where clothes with camera fitted to it won't work in Nigeria. The decay is almost beyond repair.

Bandits were imported and camped in bushes to help oust Jonathan should he win, it would have been bloody.

But when Jonathan handed over to them, they forgot that they camped people in bushes, the abandoned bandits had to survive. This was how they started kidnapping.

When things got out of control and they realized what they have done, they went to pay them off but unfortunately majority have departed their camps.

A certain governor said one time that they have paid those terrorizing them. He was right, they paid but it was late.

When other idle youths and greedy politicians discovered how lucrative the business is, they joined and that's how we got to where we are today.

We can defeat them but we won't because people are cashing out big time from it.

Bandits buy roads from security agents so they can operate undisturbed.

Lemme gist you, some people were kidnapped sometime ago, the bandits connected the families of the few that had the ransom but these people lost their way to the designated location.

They met some security agents who after listening to their story pointed them to the right direction and drove off.

When people tell you that Nigeria won't work, it is not because they're IPOB or because they hate Buhari, most times it's because they know what is going on.
A military personnel based in Maiduguri told me almost everything you wrote here except the last 3 paragraphs. My guess is that you're a military officer too.

I was told to either leave the country if I desire a life better than the status quo or remain here and accept this misnomer as a way of life.

He said and I quote "we've reached the peak of our development as a country, we either remain like this or law of diminishing returns continue to ruin every iota of our core as a country."

Thank God we're all in Nigeria and the internet never forgets. Where were you when this same Malami was shielding fulani herdsmen and comparing them to Igbo spare parts dealers in the north?

Where were you when Nasiru El'rufai was saying bandits are just doing business?

Ultimately, have you not been following Gumi's rythorics about bandits?

Know this and know peace. If MNK had been a Fulani/Hausa man, do you think northern governors and senators won't rise up to his defence?

It's still fresh in our memories when your almighty PMB said an attack on BH is an attack on the North.

So it's not out of place for anybody to be on the side of MNK irrespective of what your govt proscribe him as.

NGpatriot:
This is the problem with ipobs no matter where they are even inn Canada or on the surface iof the moon, they are collectively and mentally deranged, backward, criminally insane, bigoted and self-destructive.

Here we have a terrorist and a fugitive ordering the killings and beheading of his own people back in Nigeria including 10 innocent young girls beheaded for babalawo juju rubbish, innocent lives, other people's children, but this danegun abia kabukabu lawyer in Canada care less about his own people senselessly getting slaughtered by terrorists, his first instic is to defend a criminal, a terrorists and a fugitive?

In Canada, he won't dare defend a terrorist and a fugitive, but not when the terrorists and fugitive is ipob terrorist.

It's the same thing here in Nigeria and even right here on NL, ipobs are, all the same, they all carry the same water bottle for killers, terrorists and murderers even while the murderers and terrorists are busy slaughtering their own innocent children for babalawo voodoo..

Very sad..
