mu2sa2:I wish to share a picture of one of my course mate in KP with you. She's Fulani and speaks Yoruba clean without accent but this will be tantamount to compromise on her personality. You never waka reach Kwara State naim be say you no see bororo wey dey speak Yoruba without flaws or accent. Even the Fulanis in some part of Oyo speaks the local dialect like a native with clean accent. NB: I am not in anyway or form insinuating that his abductors are Fulanis oooo bcuz they might as well be Yorubas. |
Juliusmalema:What you're missing out is that the victim is a Yoruba man who knows a fellow Yoruba man not only by name or face, but he should know one by hearing their accent as well. And the fact that he said they speak Yoruba fluently like a native before going on to say they must have been in Yoruba land for long implies that they're not Yorubas. If not, it would have been a direct call from him. He would have gone on to say they're Yorubas unequivocally. I actually have people from other tribes as mate back in my days in school and they speak Yoruba fluently like natives. I sure won't mistake them for Yoruba indigenes but I would tell you they speak fluently like a native. Mind you, I am not ascribing his abductors to any tribe since he did not give any clue to aid any form of suggestions or investigation. |
Good for him.... But I fear they're doing his fame some good bcuz he's definitely gonna be released |
@SlayerForever Hope this meets you well! |
Kaduna1stson:Governors have immunity... So it's far from that. |
Awww... Hope it's not what I'm thinking |
SlayerForever:Is that your subtle way of saying you're in support of all the atrocious acts of the Fulanis across the country? Note the bolded bcuz I know and have Hausa family friend who was also attacked on his farmland in Ringim local govt. area by the same Fulanis you're taking side with. I mean, aren't you guys fed up of being backward in everything you do? Modernized farming practice have gone past open-field grazing. Azzin, how can cattles be roaming the street and major highway in this age and time? Is that how it's down is Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman or Kuwait? Even a backward India have outgrown such practice.... This is not a case of opposing whatever comes from Southern Nigeria, it's a function of best global practice! Ka je boko, ka kweya karatu, dan'allah ka dena yi kamar su yan kauye. |
post=98389875:I guess your record books won't be complete without mentioning the number of Boko Haram terrorists and bandits who have claimed lives of civilians and uniformed men alike that has been "rehabilitated" and set free to roam among the families and loved ones of the people they maimed. All these at the expense of the tax payers money, while their surviving victims are living in shambles at different IDP camps. Also to add, remember how expensive we thought dollar to Naira was under Jonathan and compare that with how cheap it's become today. Price of household commodities under the past administration should also be compared to what it is today. Let's also remember to appraise this current government on their overall performance on security. Your guess should be as good as everybody's. Just so you know, I was one of those who felt choosing a lesser evil in PMB over Jonathan was the right thing to do at the time but the former has proven I wrongly judged the past president, and in fact, he (Buhari) is nothing but the worst thing to befall the country Nigeria. It takes courage to speak truth to power like some prominent northerner have done recently, and this leaves me wondering if a mere social media warlord would know better than these prominent kinsmen of the president himself. Peace. |
SilverNorGold:I have read so many shits from you on this forum but never have I been this moved to quote or reply you. Bros, you suck to the high heavens! You mean the IGP knows how to give orders but he chooses not to when all the allegations against the Fulanis from the Ibarapa region started and he didn't give order to arrest any of the perpetrators? I mean, must you guys be f00lish at all times? Can't you nip issues in the bud before they escalate? I know am might get band for this but to hell mehn.... Nobody has said anything about the fulanis that took military men to some villages in Ogun state to intimidate and brutalize the locals but when youths from the village raise up against the Fulanis, you'll hear Arewa Youths and your likes aloud crying foul. I mean is this madness the new normal? |
thelinguist:The warlord from Katsina Ala axis of Benue state that was allegedly killed and dumped by the roadside by the NA late last year. The same people he was fighting to protect invited him to a peace accord and sold him out to their paymaster. |
forgiveness:That guy has got some terrestrial powers. I've heard allot about him and the governor knows him more than allot of us because he is his political thug. They were together all through his campaign until his ascendence to the governorship sit. You'll never see him with visible charms or guns. Yet, he's got odieshi and powers to control demons. Na only God know him type but I pray he doesn't get the Gana treatment. |
emperor863:@ bolded above, You mean you didn't see anyone with bullet wound on TV? Or you wanna see them with your 2 naked eyes? But Sanwo-Olu visited and counted them the day after the shooting nau. Lemme bettwr stop here before them ask Seun to reveal my data to them. Who knows, you might be one of their killing machines |
I remember asking a friend to bring down all the pictures from the EndSars protest he had put up on his profile. Told him that "freedom of speech is guaranteed but his freedom after such speech might not be guaranteed", and I'm so grateful he obliged. Africa is nothing but a shit hole and Nigeria is the suck-away of the whole |
payloader:That billions you wanna make, Atiku and co have made it yet, they've also escaped the shit hole. As a presidential aspirant and a billionaire, and aboki man for that matter, he should be cool with life in Nigeria considering he's got security details attached to him forever as a former vice president. But instead, that man now lives in Dubai. I wont go into detail with you. Aisha Buhari and the wife of Yahaya Bello are also Dubai based now. Lemme leave it here for you to ponder on |
Seriously the OP has some valid point but he's missing out allot of core reasons why people wanna migrate out of the country. He also misfired when he said Nigeria has ease of doing business. Azzin shey you dey whine me ni? Bros, do you know that you'll suffer as a millionaire in Nigeria? I mean this is the only country where the rich don't just also cry, but they suffer like the poor but in disguise. Lemme put it into perspective. The supposed diasporas who live pay cheque to pay cheque will never be in a medical emergency that will require them to be flown out of Canada or US to India. It's never gonna happen but back home, they're a million and one reason why you will be a president of Nigeria and still be flown out to receive medical treatment. Bros OP, no lemme vex for you ooo |
ogbonti:The #EndSars movement comes to mind. How many more Nigerian youths do you want to see their blood spilled before you know that it's never going to happen - a change Nigeria only exist in our mind. I consider it a missed opportunity to transform Nigeria into the paradise we all wished for, at least in our lifetime but see where are. Fellow Nigerians took up arms against their fellow citizens, protesters also blocked vehicular movements on major roads not minding medical emergencies or people who live from hand to mouth. I can go on to list so many things we got wrong from the protesters angle down to policing and government failures. We all failed. There's no winner at the end, rather, we're just taken backwards to maybe 10 years from where we were. The Government and the governed as well as military all failed to channel the protest into transforming this great country. Now the big deal is that we only live once, and living this only life to its fullest is the ultimate goal for me. So, if running away from my supposed problems will guarantee that, I'd better run. If there's anything I learnt from the last protest, it's that Nigeria might not be good in my lifetime. |
ogbonti:For your mind you don talk sense finish be that ooo. You try. If Naija guys wash white man ass na your wash? A poor legal/illegal immigrant in a civilized country is better than a poor citizen of Nigeria. Those in IDP camp can attest to this. They live like refugees in their own country of birth... Not to even mention that they were chased out of their ancestral homes by terrorists and bandits. Their lives is just a few seconds away from termination by either the hands of terrorist or NAF who will claim to accidentally blow off IDP camp. Bros, if I can safely go to bed on empty stomach with my 2 eyes closed in America or Europe, pls secure me the visa and lemme go. At least, your Nigerian government will thank God that they have one more lesser number of people to look out for.... |
panpan:Show like how kwa! You only ask for that from a fellow human and not from a supposed terrestrial powers. Bring the money in cash pls. No time to waste |
Na big lie be Charlie Charlie joor. If you doubt me, tell Charlie Charlie to prove it by bringing you 10Million dollars in cash right now. If it can bring it, then I go succumb to the whole tales |
generationz:If there's a syndicate of Yahoo guys brainstorming on the bolded above, I will gladly volunteer to lend them my quota for free. All the politicians and some god of men should be duped. But unfortunately, it's the innocent poor that these guys are after |
aieromon:Don't get it wrong. There's different between the fish market along Baga road and Baga town itself. That road is filled with NA and JTF that year wey I go Maiduguri |
I've got nothing to say |
Jashub:Goes to tell you the true origin of the Fulanis and meyetti'allas |
OchoL:I will remember this name till I die. OchoL I beg, where you get this brain from? This is not common! Your IQ is the vintage type not all these yeye olosho IQ |
MedicH:Tot it's just me. Definitely Tobechi has lied to an unsuspecting uneducated Igbo importer and now she's justifying her actions while at the same time trying to sell those justifications to the Nairaland community. Her reasoning is so loop-sided that she carefully picked on all the negativities of the man to build a case to satisfy her ungrateful lot. The only solace I got from reading all her shitty stories is that some guys talked sense into her and I hope she see reason with them. You mostly hear of how a man returns from abroad to marry his longtime girlfriend or return home to marry and take his wife with him to jand but you'll never hear of a lady doing that. Whereas, they're a plethora of them outside Nigeria single and seriously searching but will never come back to pick and dust up that their poor old-time boyfriend. Little wonder some people here call them 'vagina people'. |
brosom:Best savage response for the boldwd; HELL BOY |
ecolime:You should be smart enough to know their modus operandi. The presidency is divided into 3. So if there's a happening at the west, Femi Adeshina steps forward to be the spokesperson but if it occurence around the East, auntie Lauretta takes charge but for now, we're still dealing with the north, so it's oga Garuba that is at work now |
ILoveDemMANNA:Interesting you're still on the side of a failure called PMB. Those who claimed to be his strong supporters are already retracing their steps and regretting their actions. Let's be honest with ourselves for a minute pls. What is our security structure like in this country? With all the events playing out in the Northeast, is it not high time PMB declare state of emergency in those troubled states? Phyton dance to scare and intimidate people in peaceful region and kid gloves approach to terrorist and bandit ridden region ... Any logical justification to that? Locked boarders down south to cripple bilateral trades among neighboring peaceful west African countries and keeping the boarders wide open up north where neighboring countries posses security threat, and mostly link Nigeria to the black market gun running world. Is it not callousness to say the least that our boarder up north are still wide open? You also posted a screenshot from someone who opined that the whole kidnapping might be a well thought-out plan. My brother, with the way terrorists who should be tagged enemies of the country are rehabilitated and sponsored on foreign education scholarship, and the manner at which the returned chibok girls were sent on foreign scholarship from tax payers monies while those in IDPs are left in ruins, one can logically conclude that the government knows what they're doing bcuz all the signs points to a logical conclusion that it's a plot after all. |
