zinaunreal: which one you don do? Mr unknown on nairaland. Probably unknown for life. A member of the nigerian population statisticAwa niyen!!$ ![]() |
Cool story! |
Just ask any health professional abroad (pharmacist or doctor), they're never in support of NMA. |
Sweet! ![]() |
Slave? Of all roles! |
Ashuale: I'm shocked at your intellectual dwarfism. So so shocked. Someone writes an article, you don't ask yourself questions, you just take it hook, line and sinker and you begin to rain insults.look at your environment. Who is your father? And you would have shown us your intellectual gigantism by attacking Op's post and showing us the deficiency in it. You would have done better by bringing ur stats to show how wrong we are! Now we know who is suffering from cretinism ![]() |
sisinaijayeye0: Then you should blame your profession for being confused from the start if you knew you would later convert your professions to become doctors you should have implemented it from the start, as you always say doctors aren't better than johesu. So much so u r nt different from a pharmacologist. Wanna be doctor adeolaI find it hard to believe u're a doctor! You sound like an illiterate!! The pharmacy profession actually started as the apothecaries, just to give you a bit of history incase they didn't teach you in med school.. Apothecaries were pharmacists and doctors all in one. They did diagnosis, prescription, formulation or compounding and dispensing of drugs per individual. Pharmacy got seperated during the fully blown industrial revolution in Europe, can't remember the year! We were just dispensing and compounding.. The era of institutional practice came and then the era of patients centred care. I don't av the time to explain to you, buh the summary is that the profession evolved. That said, patients centred care, going on ward rounds doesn't mean we want to take over the job of the doctors or makes us better than the doctors. Get ur thinking right! And sorry to burst ur bubble again! I always wanted to become a pharmacist ![]() |
*in Olamide's voice* Story for the gods!! Choi, buh patients are dying sha! There's God. |
sisinaijayeye0: Honestly. Drugs! Which you should be doing in the lab and testing them on lab animals. Not in the hospitals doing ward rounds and clogging up the whole space/place. #peace #onelove! We have pharmacologists to take up that role Sorry to burst ur bubble! Pharmaceutical care is actually a patient centred care! |
Nigerian doctors in diaspora have never supported NMA on this strike. They know how things work abroad, we are watching. |
You still don't get it? Even if the public is misinformed, these journalists would never be! They toy with information, they know the truth! |
I dey come. |
I dey come. |
Cool |
I thought virgins had gone into extinction? I still don't believe what I see. |
uzolexis: #team virgin Beautiful!! |
I'm late.. *sad face* *grabs chair..* |
sisiafrika: its must be so frustrating to be a medical student. I pity him sha. Roflmaoooooo The struggle is real!! ![]() |
dandollar1: you mean community pharmacy is that lucrative? So freaking lucrative!!! |
alentyno: Lol the figures you stated are so fairytale-likeI presently don't have the CONHESS figures. Community pharmacists work in the communities, while hospital pharmacists work in hospitals. Thing is, due to the diverse nature of pharmacy, pharmacists don't just sit and do one job. I know one pharmacy graduate working in an industry paying about 140,000. Closes at 4pm and resumes a locum job at a community pharmacy for about 80K and also does drug detailing. At the same time, he used his certificate to register a premise for about 400K annually. |
charleymed: Another SLOWPOKESo we said there are jobless doctors, that means beef shey? Mumu boy! Let the truth dawn on you.. Try to convince the public that we're wrong, insults won't do bruh. |
charleymed: What is your problem with doctors and medicineE pain am!!! ![]() Lmaoooooooooooo.. |
nouveaux: What are the differences between EMDEX and MIMS? Can I get substitutes and what of their apps or pdf format? Not cool as this place is dryEMDEX is a drug resource book for the Nigerian market. Drugs used and registered in Nigeria are found in EMDEX. MIMS is for drugs in the US and BNF is for drugs in the UK. |
#TeamPharmacy Bro, I really don't understand why you mentioned just the industrial pharmacists in your post. The reason for that is because of the structure of the industry, mosts pharmacists begin as sales reps, Bukky George of Healthplus Pharmacy is an example. Really, there's much more to pharmacy. Do you know how much community pharmacies make per annum? The serious ones make about 5-10M.. I'm sure you know about the CONHESS salary scale, we receive only less than the doctors. Pharmacy is the widest profession ever!!! #TeamPharmacy once again. |
Uncle Jarus, I'm willing to introduce you to jobless medical doctors. We have a GLUT of doctors in Nigeria. Pharmacy should be Number 1 on that list! |
Pennywise: The NMA is unreasonable on many fronts not least of all is their death grip on hospital administration in the country. Medical administration is evolving worldwide and Nigeria has to evolve with it. A four year specialist course in Medicine in no way equips an individual with the capacity to run a multi-billion naira health facility. If these hospitals were run as a 'going concern' they would have since been dead.My friend ![]() |
Victomolola: Is that mean I'm related to governor or vc? Oau cut off mark, 2011/2012: mbbs= 295; pharm or joe hates you=245 2012/2013: mbbs = 262; pharm or joe hates you 235 2013/2014 mbbs 270.5; pharm or joe hates you 250.5 pre degree 2013/2014 mbbs =80.7; pharm or joe hates you=70.5!!! Who is much brilliant and excellent, tell me?Don't act like a deluded fellow, we know the governors and VCs handpick MBBS students, don't argue.. It's naija, we all know!!! |
decode55: why the hate? Your jamb score wasn't high enough?Bring up urs nw! A pharmacist brought up his yday (285) and still studied pharmacy and u guys brought up something else. My brother, bring up something else! We know it's the VCs and governors that admit MBBS students not jamb! ![]() |
