I think you guy have little knowledge of how this things works, and instead of guys to ask question,u all are acting as Mr know all |
NYSC › Re: NYSC Camp Punishment : Share Your Experiences by adeskee(m): 9:49pm On Nov 15, 2020 |
i926: Right from time, i like do things my own way like a boss.
In camp, when people are bathing that's when I wake from sleep, when they are chasing them, that's when I go to bath. My irregular and abnormal shit got me lot of troubles with soldiers, man o war, police, camp officials and even corp members.
Won't share all. Just one
So, I got bored and hungry during SAED and wanted to go back to hostel to make some cornflakes cuz going to mammy was prohibited during SAED. A soldier man called me back and asked me, where do you think you going, young man? I told him the truth that I was hungry and the SAED is boring I wan go wat. The soldier man vex...para..hala me..who do you think that you are? If not for instructions given to us, I go flog you.
I asked the soldier man, would you have turned down my request, if I were your son? Walahi, you are not my son and my son cannot disobey me #speaks some Hausa + Arabic shit#
I said some stuffs and lef...he told me that God not soon catch me. I turned my head, as I walked to podium and replied, God is always nice to me.
An hour later, SAED training was done and guys stormed to mammy market for break. I ate, drank beer and even played PS 2. When I came out, mammy was empy just me And few peeps going to podium...joined them...damn, we late.
Naso the soldier man wey get small beef with sight me, he said "shebi, I told you God go catch you abi, he done finally catch you for me...I just went straight down on my kneels and was begging. He told me to do 35 push ups...I wanted to say sir, please convert it to six strokes but I remember say my body haff old for cane. I no wan cry..I did 15 push-ups and started begging.
During evening parade, the state coordinator was talking na so,I shouted so loud from my platoon "You are lying".. Soldiers came and platoon 7 members snitched and pointed to my platoon 8 as source of the voice. Nobody gree talk. Everyone in my platoon was punished
I made an enemy from that incident a girl. She started serving me small food. Whenevr I come and finds out, she serving i go straight to mammy. Finally, a good voice spoke to me. Guy, go and serve today. I marched to the kitchen made my presence know. Helped out...I served the girl half spoon of rice. In the evening, I also served and I gave her little soup . Wickedness dey sweet sha This got me really bad can't stop laughing |

Tayoalaaye75: I posted this on April 12 2020
------:::: Tayoalaaye75: Greetings Nairalanders, My name is Tayo and I am not a very active nairalander but I have been using is as a guest for more than 7 years now and I know that there are deep thinkers and wise people here also.
I will be brief with the intro and purpose of this thread and page.
1) This will be a thread of young political thinkers from Nigeria both at home and diaspora.
2) For people that are not in support of any current Nigerian political party majorly ( APC & PDP)
3) For people that are not tribalistic in any way, any form of tribalism will be prohibited strictly.
4) For people that are not religious fanatics, you can be a Christian, Muslim, Hindu or Traditional worshipper but not a fanatic.
5) For people that DEEPLY don't like the situation of things in the country and TRUELY wants Nigeria to be good and has at least a tiny bit of hope.
6) For people that promote Nationalism
7) And most importantly, For people that has REAL LOVE for her people.
There would be more to come and I have bigger vision for this thread. And can later create a different for the members. It is not compulsory to be much members but sensible ones from all aspect and jobs ( Doctors, Tailor, Mechanics, Engineers, Accountant, Bankers, Lawyers, Technicians, night workers, Drivers, Government workers etc all welcomed here) and the jobless too. We can help each other the best way that we can. During crisis like this, we will help each other, share little money among ourselves give away even if it is data. The bigger picture is to take over the country and had very very very positive impact to Nigeria in any little way. Complete honesty and LOVE for your fellow human, your fellow black, your.fellow Nigerian. .................... I am not a good Orator but with time it will get better. Please pardon my error, as my written English is not as it used to be after living 7 years in Ukraine. I studied Aeronautical engineering over there and I have been back to Nigeria since 2014. I still have good connect there especially with there military. -------------- I have very good ideas of our possible we.can take over the country starting from the scratch, I just need serious and loyal members. We cannot continue like this and I am ready to lay my life for a very justifiable course. ------------- So your plan is to turn this country to that of Syria, iraw or yemen You left this country to hide your head but have the temerity to instigate we at home to push your agenda. Mention any county of world that experience peace after your Western actors destroyed thier relative peace all in the name of revolution, change in government or democratic consolidation or entrenchment. My advice to you is simple, come back home, someone like me is ready to join you only if you will actively participate, aside that STFU and don't heat up the already tensed polity. |

The unfortunate part is that, after looting the station, this guy's still went ahead to loot their Barack, that is rubbish to me Looting on going,I just hope this don't escalate |
Education › Re: Share Your First Day In Lecture Hall Experience by adeskee(m): 1:34pm On Oct 05, 2020 |
christejames: Mine was quite hilarious , I had always despise calculations so much since my secondary school days which made me to opt for the course I studied (not knowing the course also deals with calculations in a quite elaborious manner ).
Got to my department for the first time, went to our secretary office and introduced myself as a new student, he welcomed me and told me to go and copy the time table at the notice board outside. Got to the notice board, not knowing how course codes work, I copied everything from first year to almost final year till a student in his penultimate class (he later u became the departmental president) saw me and asked me if I am a new student, I answered in affirmative, he directed me to a class that my mates are already having a lecture, I was tensed and didn't know how to proceed.
Mustered courage and excused myself into the class, lo and behold, my first lecture was Statistics (another calculations). In my mind, I was like I don fail be this ooo! the whole process was just like an exorcism session. I was just there staring at the board looking at how the lecturer was just doing her stuff. Before she ended her lecture, she looked at us, seeing that the whole process looks confusing to us, she made herself open to us, telling us to feel relaxed, admonished us and told us to always approach her when we find any challenges.
Immediately after the lecture, I went to her, instead of telling her my fear, I told her that I am stranded , because I was petrified (stranded maybe in calculation xanadu). She looked at me coded my message, talked to me like a friend and told me that I shouldn't be scared that I will make it well.
After that semester results came out and lo and behold, your boy made an A in that course, thanks to that lecturer and a special thanks to my best friend (Wisdom), who made the whole calculation process look and feel so easy, and made me fall in love with calculation.
On the other hand, the course that I was expecting and enphantic A in, failed me woefully. It was like a mirage how I failed that course but the good thing is that when I went for its resit, I didn't just make an A but also made the best result in the sequential course of that same course.
