Gangsta101:
actually george, they do not change as regularly as u suppose. for instance if u track nilesat, it makes sense to use 10758 V 27500, cos every single time, it will always be head over hills higher than all the others.
i believe the same goes for 10949 for Hotbird. infact it is of the utmost importance to have these TPS at one's fingertips all the time.
i'm posting from my phone, so i can't keep up this discussion, but i'm also waiting for your software, i do need an easy reference guide.
[/quot

@ Gangsta101,
quote,it makes sense to use 10758 V 27500, cos every single time, it will always be head over hills higher than all the others. unquote.Own comment. That is not true for every geo location inside Nigeria. As u can see each and every satellite transponder respond differently in every geo location within Nigeria,so while tracking within the North e.g Sokoto, kano,Maiduguri,Biu,Bauchi,Jos,Lafia,Abuja, kaduna, kafanchan,Minna,Lokoja,Makurdi,Taraba,Jebba,Ilorin and possibly Ibadan it's right for me to use that ur said tp which of course i can also track using 60cm dish within the states in northern Nigeria. But it will b damn wrong for me to be at place like Ilorin,Ibadan and Lagos and using the said tp to track nilesat.Just for ur information only.

@ Houstonia,
Message fm lauren to u that u are in deep trouble tonight. This is no joke.

@ FTA Field Marshal,
I hope u have not connive with European sat owner/transmitter in trying to reduce the strength of their signal towards Africa grin grin grin grin me i don kolo mental for that ya demand o.But all the same sha as Mr. Badaru and adewest as made some similar post back on this forum, which i think is similar to what u r asking on. But note that European sat owner regret to see the trace of their signal stretching into Nigeria,so the little trace of what someone could track out of European bird in term of signal strength is not constant in every 100km here in Niger, but we are looking forward to that D-day when able people like You could get a sat launch in the orbit bearing channel in the name of regional and Global for Niger. All the best

@ olofofo/tox- which dish did adewest use for una?fofo i know u where having a strong 2.4m dish b4 now, abeg make una no even bother una sef for the pic again just the dish name. @ adewest- master adewest abeg dont ignore me cos i wan ask of 2.4m stronger dish,i confirmed from jujukemist while trying to source for the dish from kaduna that there was a ban on the dish because of imitation on strong dish which lead to scarcity of the product now,the most he can see is 1.8m stronger dish.is eurostar 2.4m in the market now better than strong?or can u source the 2.4m stronger dish for me? @ jujukemist and gangstar101 i appreciate ur brotherly care. @ ekonibaje sorry for my poor response,u see life in ph is getting tougher everyday, theres scarcity of fuel no light no okada few taxi and buses above all come see hold up in every juction. So my brother i no get fuel to on my i pass my neighbor oh!and i know gree go my house since this weekend cos i no fit dey without light.so how ve u gone?
@ pitodenz,

Man nothing like stronger 2.4m dish but stronger 1.8m dish which i think is d first class dish of 1.8m class,it's much avail here in my domain,if at all u need 2.4m dish go for STRONG pan for now it as no imitation any where and if u know how to manage it, the signal production can b ok like the original 2.4m eurostar dish , but as for 2.4m Eurostar it might fail u,as it's been imitated in 2 ways now.Shine ur eye o shocked

@ Enigma,

That is noted and thanks. If not for Nigcomsat failure,by now i believe all the Europe tv channels would have been struggling to get 1 or 2 transponder hire on our sat which i think will bring a better awareness to my people. But thank God that country like Iran was able to get their own home made sat launch and positioned in the orbit successfully. But if any country/sat owners try their intelligent like what they did to our sat, am very sure that they will fail. What they did to our sat Nigcomsat 2 was actually a black minded things owing to our poor intelligent.
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Official Thread of Free To Air Satellite TV (Part 2) by adewest(m): 6:55pm On Feb 08, 2009
the owner of that UK forum came here to browse; he then came back to the UK forum and made a post laughing at some of the less informed posts here. OK,

@ Enigma, thank God u too u r a Nigerian, isn't ? The Nigerian/natural factors is telling on my people here in Africa in term of sat concentrated environment. if all the best satellite/channel packages are all focusing towards Europe and i still see many people across there running here and there for FREE TO AIR so i wonder how things here will look like for people in Africa esp Nigeria, but still we r not relent.Ok a story too:Some months back, some Germans satellite experts came to bauchi to carry out an installation of 7m dish for julius-Berger,technically well something pop up which then foil the their mission, and the dish was grounded for 3weeks. A laborer working under them did told them about me and i was invited to set-up the installation along with them but bro,we are backward but the damn questions fm this German is something else.
7m dish with motorcycle chain to convey the dish motorized, i think that was my first time to work on such a huge seize of dish and motorize equipment. As a sat-Bleep,my system (memory box) was reprog to put all the equipment in the right order and the tracking begun and i did made it known to the expertise that no more question will be granted at that junction as in just watch me only.
At the end of the day the mission was accomplished bringing all their most classics bird from europe to Nigeria. After my professional way of dish angle and Lnb cutting/skewing and i can track any far reaching bird fm europe in Nigeria just like you r in europe itself, difficult birds i mean like digitALB on eutelsatw2,Hellas all @16 degree, hi packages on Eurobird1,hipasat 1c @30 deg west and so many many sat the signal are just fabulous.

So my bro,i bet u some guys here r just too good physically, mentally and psychologically but lack the time for all this talking things or is it every body in Europe that know what u know despite that u learn from someone ?

QUOTE @olofofo,and other motorised users in Lagos area,
thanks to badaru1.he was able to solve the Astra mystery for me.it is Astra28*East-active tps are 12148 and 12168.he also disclosed that Atlantic Bird2 8*W is very active here showing Orbit and Kabelkiosk packages with some porn channels all opened by abracadabra-tps12649v27500,10972v27500,etc.on the weak signals from Hotbird and Eurobird, shake your motorised dish gently to the right or left.badaru revealed that those birds are not directly on the arc,a bit off.I will try them all tomorrow. @ all the abracadabra update that support jsc sport +1 - +4 nilesat is only modified for an echolink model EL-3020 IR-SUPER only NOT PLUS.But let keep hand across as to see if strong company can still keep up with the contract support with the owner of JSC SPT +1 - +4, if they can't keep up, fine as well echolink might secure the contract. If so,software for EL-3020 IR- PLUS IS EXPECTED TO B OUT ABOUT 3-4 DAYS TIME.

@ Ekonibaje, please note,i don't need u to market my ability and my inability in term of sat experiences. Did i hear u say ran away, i think u r short of words in ur mouth may be.1.8m i no ran away,2.4m i no ran away,2.6m i no ran away,3m at abekekuta no ran away ,4m with olofofo i no ran away and even 6m at cotonou i no ran away. Did u ever think u can defeat a gorilla in term of jungle wafare. That guy u sold that 3m fiber to was much nice to me than u can imagine, after pointing it to u that the focal measurement was not correct and beyond what i can adjust.i did told the guy to meet one of the fibre maker to get another focal length constructed and keep me inform when that is done. The following day, the guy told me u brought a fiber maker who construct another focals and make a refurbish on the dish surface and he later proceed to go ahead with the installation without the the motorizing equipment. I wonder what nilesat channels he can watch when 3m fiber is scratching on MBC CHANNELS freq 11938 (poor signal) as at 0830PM for that matter inside Lagos. Ekonibaje abi wetin be dat ur name,Did say dat guy u sold that dish to was ur friend indeed ? Haaaba for such price u no dey fear God o, dat antiquity 3m fibre,I begin to fear u as from today ooo.

Dre_lu:
@All,
I have a 65cm dish installed for NSS 7 (22oW) KU. How can I receive the TV3 from Ghana which is on C band. Do I have to combine this setup with a C band stuff. [please, confirm the dish can combine both C & KU ]

Regards
@ Dre-lu,sorry u can try that out but i doubt it if u can ever achieve because C-band reception need or required wide surface ranging fm 1.4m dish and above. So why not go for 1.8m dish then u r ok to install ur c-band TV3 plus NSS 7-KU.That's where the possibility is,abi u b ijebu man grin

@ Olofofo, i think u can contact later in day when the n/work is less busy. Thanks

@ Sathob, i think it's ok converting ur mesh to a pan surface. But the light metal cast surfacing would have been more better prefer to that aluminum sheet so long the surface smooth curves is observe on the job done. And if ur focal length is three focal configured, ur job will be as beautiful as Accra city because u can achieved a better tweaking and variety of LNB set-up on the 3 focal configuration.Inverto C120 lnb, is it a KU type? because i have not come across one before, what's the noise figure? if it's 0.2DB i think it's ok. Lovely regards to you.

@ captainus, u can achieve a better signal on KU reception when u used a pan-dish, but mesh dish of the same parameter will always supersede pan dish in term C-band tracking.

@ RuuDie,nilesat is well receivable in Lagos with a steady signal throughout the day with 2.4m dish but if u r in specific of a particular channel on nilesat e.g show-sport,i think it will be better off u go for 3.6m or 4m dish for d benefit of doubt. As to hispasat u need 4m dish without doubt, but u will need a receiver like Dream-box 800 to get-rid off the encrypted channel nagra3, thou there r some free channel avail there.Like mojo-mojo tongue and kiss

@ Butoneday , those pictures i believe is from one of this middle east countries,Morrocco,Algeria or Lebanon fm what am seeing on the lineup of the LNB which i believe they facing the west. You see those lower ku they are actually picking signals fm the higher elevations, while the higher ones are atually looking towards the lower sat positions.

i was once caught up in something of this nature while i was in one jungle in sierra-leone,but is unfortunate that i could not shoot the picture.Nice piz of picture there

Adewest,
I am beginning not to like the scenario.I paid for the Eurostar 2.4m pan to get the very best.

@ Talksnaija, i think by now u should be able to tell d differences between a hobbies t and a marketer, remember some groups on this forum abuse me in the first place that i am a marketer but thanks God time shall tell.
Please Mr Adetokunbo don't misinterpret my post,my ways are always straight forward, am not asking for more money fm you, if at all i no go school, but i do bukuru small. Am simply trying to tell you that there is no Eurostar 2.4m in the market at moment but they r expected to arrive in about a weeks time, so should i wait till then? No as i have given you my time of coming down. Like i said in my post i have work with a STRONG DISH recently ship in fm Dubai and they are ok by me. May be u no know how i dey run up and down looking for this Eurostar self. Eurostar or no eurostar i will be in Town any moment so if u beginning not to like the scenario u can send me ur acct number so i can deposit ur balance of the dish and accessories. Gbam

Adewest,
I hope there is good news for me too on our installation.

@ Toxnaija, Good news and bad news. For some of the good news is that 2.4m dish will soon be available in the market and the bad news is that they may not be Eurostar pan but Strong 2.4m pan and they are as better as the Eurostar too.I just finish an installation of a motorize 2.4m strong pan recently brought to the market fm Dubai and the output of the signal was marvelous even 3% greater than the 2.4m original Eurostar i was hunting for.But the price for this 2.4m dish is going higher in the market now.

please reply my question on sky italia.does echolink have videoguard/nds edit menu?

@ Talksonaija,Echolink don't have the videoguard/nds edit menu but if support is given from the software maker of Echolink receiver, the abracadabra will always solve the equation.Roger so far over
