Azikiwe, Tony Enahoro, GEJ.
Psssstt.

Please remove the last name. The guy is a corrupt simpleton who is still shocked that there are some people of lower IQ than him who think he is a hero so you are not flattering yourself by putting his name. This guy has not made any speech that stands the tests of time, has not written a book, has not inspired anybody since he was born. A simple local Ijaw guy pushed upwards by his unintelligent but ambitious wife and people who think they could use him for their purposes. These people include Alams, Obasanjo, Clark, Dieziani and so on.

We have blamed the APC, Buhari, America, Chad, Cameroon, The Muslims, the Northern Elites, the Northern Leaders. Why not also blame Saudi Arabia?

Most of you already say they are Islamic Militants and they do the wishes of Muslims anyway. Instead of addressing the root cause that the Nigerian state can not be trusted with arms least it ends up in the hands of terrorists.

Our global reputation is almost non-existent right now and what we care about is throwing blames around
Be careful. You might be the next to be blamed. The story would be that your posts on Nairaland is being read by some people in Pakistan and the Pakis have therefore decided not to sell weapons to Nigeria. No excuse is too ridiculous for these people.

Welcome development....
A new national theatre should be built in Abuja. The problem with all these sales is that we don't see the proceeds and we dontnget tax income from the new owners. A lot of big men are going to spend a lot of time in a lot of prisons for a lot of crimes in not a long time from now.

Jonathan will be booted out and immediately the new improved JTF will be unleashed.
Ur selfish leaders will be settled like before and foot soldiers like u will be severally death with.
The drunkard will be booted out and Nigeria will be great again.
The JTF coming will not be involved in oil bunkering. They will pick up key militants like jigger and destroy their camps utterly. The militants will also all be exposed to Niger delta people including the ones who are building schools in foreign countries with stolen ND resources. All their accounts, local and international, assets and transfers from the GEJ government will be exposed. Contracts awarded and not done, inflated contracts and all will be exposed.

I wonder why people are hustling for this out-dated man. Nigeria needs fresh blood not old analog people.this is digital age for goodness sake.
There is no untainted fresh blood in Nigeria. Please don't deceive yourself, vision does not have an age limit. The office of president of Nigeria is the most tempting and potentially corrupting office in the world. You need a man of strong core values and vision in that place. There is a reason why Amaechi was not chosen as VP. This idiot Omehia who is saying all these was governor of rivers state for maybe a year or so and while he was in office it was monthly stipends to militants, stealing of government funds etc. until his cousin Amaechi took over and started doing some work for a change. Please visit Rivers State now and see the difference. Don't let people deceive you that the young only have ideas, the people who were in power in India when they developed atomic bombs and started training the boys who have taken over the IT world were septuagenarians. Deng Xiao Ping who turned China from communist backwater to innovative capitalist state was 80+ when he started changing China (please read up on the cultural revolution) ..at that same time the US president Ronald Reagan was 79.

98 percent of Buhari supporters do that because of their hate for Gej.
It shouldn't be so. I know Gej performed below par, but buharis time back then was no better, he was younger and had all the power as a military head of state, what did he do??..I remember the rules of W.A.I....soooooooo disgusting, like it was proposed by a 9months old kindergarten!!!....No wonder he didn't last in office. He doesn't just have the brain for this. Let him face his cows and APC should give us a candidate worthy of our votes. Give me a Fashola!!!!!...an Oshiomole or someone who has a functioning brain!!!!!
Buhari's time was 400% better. There was a serious attempt at formulating a national strategy for everything, please forget the WAI. You need to talk to people who were involved in economic and defence matters at the time. Nigeria was Nigeria, a well respected nation within the committee of nations. At some point it became vogue to abandon central planning and open up the economy to the western nations which was done in a most painful way. IBB's regime devaluation of the Naira led to the most unbelievable transfer of wealth from Nigeria in history, probably $1 trillion was lost in value to the western nations and on top of that we became a debtor nation. A fire d of mine went to the Ministry of Defence in those days and was amazed at the rows of maps and intelligence information about our offshore oil and gas assets, the location of every ship sailing into and out of Nigeria and so on. Now fat cat generals make big fools of themselves on national television, a dozen Hausa boys fool a government about ceasefire and amnesty and some clueless government fell for it. This is what they call lightweight leadership that does not respect itself or the people it is serving. Everything has degraded and everybody became a contractor or a contract inflator. The PDP governments have never gotten it right about how to trade and perform as equals to advanced countries of the world. There has been a touch of inferiority complex especially with the GEJ government. Give me a government that starts from the premise that Nigeria is a great country formed from great empires and 170million balk people are here to take on the world. With the present regime only a few patronage recipients can actually say that. Give me BUHARI and see wonders.

Pls don't annoy me brother. President Goodluck performed below par and he is a corrupt and incapable person. Thought much preferred to a Buhari at the moment. Doesn't mean we can't have better, Gej is a typical Nigerian politician who doesn't do anything except it will be of political benefit to him. Only the smart and right thinking Nigerians will see this. If I had seen a fashola or an Oshiomole or an Akpabio as opposition candidate I would have casted my vote for such candidate. Gej performed below par and he is very very very corrupt!!!!!...plays on the intelligence of Nigerians and calls us fools to our face and you are here telling me whatever you are saying.
I wwould never vote a buhari because he is incapable, this doesn't mean I am ok with a Gej, I am only managing Gej because at the moment I have no other choice.
Buhari is incapable of what exactly. The Presidency is a decision making office, a national projection office, a national mass communication office, a defence and security office. What part of this job has Buhari not done well before?. Except you grew up in the 90s and were not around then. Please define capable because Obama who is POTUS is just a lawyer and community organizer, Putin is a lawyer and was a mediocre KGB operative at best.

Bullshit government sided explanation. Borrowing is going to top 1.5trillion and a lot of it is going to fund recurrent expenditure. Export promotion to shore up naira value is not being tackled except maybe for raw agric produce. Defence and security will consume at.least 1 trillion but no effort afoot to buy weapons so that we get the war over quickly and reduce recurrent on soldiers allowances.

I doubt Ekwueme want a divisive and partisan icon like Buhari to rule Nigeria. Anyway Ekwueme has always being known for his peaceful nature, I won't be surprised if he forgave Buhari.
Forgive ko forgave ni. Ekwueme was in good hands during the coup. IBB a key member of the coup plotting group was his neighbor in Ikoyi and family friend. Buhari was just an invitee to take over government because of his stellar reputation in the army. They found foreign currency in Ekwueme's residence that was the main reason for the detention. Whoever has been spreading FALSE rumours about Ekwueme's persecution is dead wrong.

We all know Jonathan is a child of Destiny, he's fulfilling it.. Make sure u get ur PVC and vote wisely... GMB 2015
Every one of these jokers thinks he is a child if destiny. Obasanjo took Biafran surrender, was the first military regime head to voluntarily hand over to civillian. The first military head of state to successfully contest and win again. IBB also has testimonies of the call of destiny. Gowon was the most popular Nigerian head of state ever before corruption in his govt and postponed civillian rule led to his overthrow.
The important thing is that DESTINY EXPIRES. Jonathan's destiny as Nigeria 's president has expired like a fake drug on the corner side pharmacy. It has been a nice experiment. Now we know what a Niger Delta Presidency feels like. Thank you and bye bye. Buhari it is your turn finally

Two efficacious prophets have predicted a Buhari victory. One other did it in a round about way to hide the implications of the..predictions.
Look out for statements like ...'APC will win the majority but"...."the president will be declared winner but wont complete his term"..
Buhari will win convincingly and the INEC will try to declare the wrong person yet the top rankers of INEC will keep the correct results and sabotage the FG.

Politics › Re: 2015 Presidential Election - Prediction Of The Outcome II by Adminisher: 12:22pm On Dec 28, 2014
Your analysis is too optimistic for Jonathan and pessimistic for Buhari. Please don't base anything on results of 2011, you will be shocked and a master mind should never be shocked.

First of all, Tinubu is not the driver of Buhari's popularity in the SW, he is merely a benefactor of it. Most people do not understand Nigeria and what it is and used to be. During Buhari/Idiagnon regime, the seat of power was at Dodan Barracks, Lagos not Abuja. The FG even then had been dominated by northerners but was essentially based in Lagos in the SW so the nature, power and influence of the people governing then were visible to the people of thenSW. Now last week was the umpteenth time I would talk to an ordinary taxi driver and endure him regaling me of stories of the anti corruption drive, discipline and egalitarian promise that the Buharo/Idiagbon regime provided to Nigeria and for Christ sakes this are just semi illiterate drivers. So let us get it out of the way and admit that Buhari has a base in the SW not beholden to Tinubu who has corruption baggage.

Now for the North Central, who are the drivers here?. The drivers are retired military officers and top civil servants. To think these people (mostly Christian) so traumatised by the Boko haram crisis would foolishly flock to Jonathan as a saviour is over simplifying issues. For one thing, Jona has not done much to protect anybody there which fact is not lost on the intelligent civil servants and veterans of the Liberian war who make up the opinion makers. Having a redeemed pastor as VP destroys a lot of negative stereotyping of Buhari here.

For South South which is Jonathan's second most important base (the SE is actually his most important base, never that mind he is Ijaw), you have to be unwitting about the diversity of the region to give too much to Jonathan in this section. Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Delta ethnic nationalities are very divided about whether they should throw all into the Ijaw agenda, all the stories of Tom Polo and his gunboats that should be for the Nigerian Navy where do you think they are coming from? Please dont forget that all Jonathan has if he wins at all is just four years. Meanwhile there is the Ijaw-Itsekiri tension is age old, the Upland- Riverine tension in Rivers state is likely to cost the PDP the governorship of that state and I know what aim talking about, I am posting this from Portharcourt. Crops Rivers PDP also has issues with some people doing the winner takes all kind of politics. In all these, all thePreidént has to bargain and close the gaps in his base is money. Charisma and gravitas are almost non existent in him.

So the fair balance of forces appears as follows

NW Buhari
NC Buhari 60 Jonathan 40
SW Buhari 55 Jonathan 45
NE Buhari 95. Jonathan 5
SE Buhari 20 Jonathan 80
SS Buhari 45 Jonathan 55
