I am writing to ask if you can help me to persuade my husband to do less around the house. I am worried that he is going to make himself ill from exhaustion. Also, and it is hard for me to say this to him without being hurtful, I married him for his fun personality not his work ethic and I fear I am losing him to domestic drudgery. I want an equal partner, not a slave.

We have a toddler and a baby, born few months ago. During the pregnancy, I was quite tired and run down and my darling, supportive husband started to do more and more around the house and with our son (and despite a full-time, responsible job, he has always done more than his fair share of housework). I am now breastfeeding the baby, which is tough because he barely stops feeding and won't really nap anywhere except in my arms.

So this leaves my husband doing the shopping, tidying, washing and cooking. He gets up at 6am every morning to get our toddler ready for nursery, with a packed lunch, and he drops him off before he can get himself off to work. Meanwhile, I just sit around feeding the baby!

I feel permanently guilty and as if the only way I will get my husband to do less is if I do more. The thing is that I can walk away from mess and he can't.

I hugely appreciate him helping, but, beyond the basics, would rather see him sleeping or even cuddling me on the sofa rather than trying to be on top of everything. I love my husband – he is truly the sweetest, most loving, most wonderful lover and father, but I find myself resenting the fact that I barely see his fun side these days because he is so tired that he is essentially ill – and I can't help thinking it is at least partly self-inflicted

A pastor has been caught with some charms in his wardrobe. The charms which included animal horns were tied with red cloth.

My husband and I have been married for almost 2 years now. He is a very good man . He is not a cheating type. The only thing is he likes sex so much that he always wants to have it everyday. I am tired. This lockdown has even increase the issue.

Have you considered the logistics cost of the needless back n forth which would have been completely avoided if federal agencies like NAFDAC, Customs and the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs had deployed basic due diligence by confirming the status of said rice before distribution? Let's not go into the wide window of theft n corruption this opens!

Nobody should pray for my experience and I don't wish my enemy this. I got a JAMB direct admission in 1994 but due to undue favouritism towards my siblings because of my parents archaic belief that the girl child were more valuable than the male child, and being the eldest child, my parents conspired and liked that they could not finance it. Some family friends offered to sponsor my education, especially one who at that time was a Judge of the Court of Appeal Enugu Division, but they blocked it. Instead they raised money for the women education while I had to work various jobs to survive.

Humiliation followed because of my inability to further my education but as fate will have it I was introduced to the world of finance and with my GCE became a ICAN chartered accountant and ACCA qualified and owning my own business. That also makes it a source of envy as I am the first born.

The toughest punishment i ever received was when i used my dad's phone to call a girl and my dad was among the few who had cellphone then, that motorolla and siemens era, d era when people would buy phone and save money for another 6months b4 he can buy SIM , they had warned me severally before then cos he noticed his airtime was always going down even when he didnt do a call, on that fateful evening he was to call someone and noticed there wasn't airtime and i was the only1 around, he asked me to kneel down, gave me d flogging of my life with all those animal skin koboko, i had bruises, he asked mom to grind pepper which she did without having a choice, after that they poured d pepper on my naked body, that night i left d house and it was that same night i lost my virginity to same girl that made me receive such treatment, we did it in a primary school open field at night. I don't doubt the existence of the virus on the continent but those figures in Nigeria expecially Lagos and Kano is highly doubtful. Kano just demanded 15 billion from the federal government to fight the disease and any sane person will know that tracing or giving account of the funds afterwards will be highly impossible

The boy definately had a poor foundation in his academics but there's still room for improvement. Beating the kid won't open his brain but it's sad to see all the money spent on him go to waste.
