Beautykate: I am writing to ask if you can help me to persuade my husband to do less around the house. I am worried that he is going to make himself ill from exhaustion. Also, and it is hard for me to say this to him without being hurtful, I married him for his fun personality not his work ethic and I fear I am losing him to domestic drudgery. I want an equal partner, not a slave.
We have a toddler and a baby, born few months ago. During the pregnancy, I was quite tired and run down and my darling, supportive husband started to do more and more around the house and with our son (and despite a full-time, responsible job, he has always done more than his fair share of housework). I am now breastfeeding the baby, which is tough because he barely stops feeding and won't really nap anywhere except in my arms.
So this leaves my husband doing the shopping, tidying, washing and cooking. He gets up at 6am every morning to get our toddler ready for nursery, with a packed lunch, and he drops him off before he can get himself off to work. Meanwhile, I just sit around feeding the baby!
I feel permanently guilty and as if the only way I will get my husband to do less is if I do more. The thing is that I can walk away from mess and he can't.
I hugely appreciate him helping, but, beyond the basics, would rather see him sleeping or even cuddling me on the sofa rather than trying to be on top of everything. I love my husband – he is truly the sweetest, most loving, most wonderful lover and father, but I find myself resenting the fact that I barely see his fun side these days because he is so tired that he is essentially ill – and I can't help thinking it is at least partly self-inflicted
The only part that I thank you for is the fact that you recognise that modern women want slave as husband. Help yourself this way, assume your husband is the other way will you give excuse of breast feeding No so get up and be responsible.
A pastor has been caught with some charms in his wardrobe. The charms which included animal horns were tied with red cloth.
In the video, the already handcuffed pastor can be seen shouting at those present that he has done nothing wrong by having charms. He further states that he is a spiritual man and not a native DOCTOR, so does not understand why he is being procecuted.
It's the church organisation that should disown him and sue him for impersonation and anybody he has defrauded can come up.
donestk: I meant someone with several past relationships that went down with most of them.
I want marriage here means marriage. Having said that, during courtship every necessary fundamental must have been dealt with. So if not for negative or negligence reason she can be faithful. Negative is the deliberate or deliquent act. Negligence is not dealing with the right issues during courtship.
Julietsim: My husband and I have been married for almost 2 years now. He is a very good man . He is not a cheating type. The only thing is he likes sex so much that he always wants to have it everyday. I am tired. This lockdown has even increase the issue.
Please how can one cope? Is there any married lady that has experienced this. How did you handle it?
He might be hyper while you are not couple with the lockdown and being the faithful man I can understand your brief but here is my advice make love to him in mutuality and be the boss thrill and satisfy him till he is running away. Why do I say this? The idea that man ask and woman gives in marriage is really an issue rather love up like a teenager no one is no one is consenting just duos at a go.
tillaman: So because you couldn’t honour an agreement and he sued your arse which is perfectly normal since you took his money and they tried to reach out to your team and y’all stopped taking their calls, if you can’t grace an event there something called refund na Clown
Which mob advice he should repay 300 Million that way his sense will be mobbed.
I believe at every point in time government always have to provide food to some people somewhere so once any product like rice and other food stuff is sized and in good quality they should roll it out immediately for consumption through the government appropriate agencies who pays directly into government account if it's not free instead of keeping such perishable and shelf life foods till they expires.
If there was accountability in government the custom should be pay the keeping them till they expire and the cost of logistics with fine for the embarrassment and and work insubordination. Many head should roll because there is no logical excuse for this. Custom whare houses are GIGO not life prison house for goods and same for all government parastatals and agencies. There should be know waste
mushystuff: Sarrki and helinues oya o! Come and accuse Akeredolu of playing politics instead of respectfully inspecting rice, separating good rice from bad and quietly returning the rotten ones back to the FG! This was your opinion when Makinde of Oyo state revealed this mess.
Have you considered the logistics cost of the needless back n forth which would have been completely avoided if federal agencies like NAFDAC, Customs and the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs had deployed basic due diligence by confirming the status of said rice before distribution? Let's not go into the wide window of theft n corruption this opens!
Wailers don't know they are not even a supporter but Wailers. I love the way you quoted what that fellow wrote when it's Oyo now let's hear and see how he is going to mourn this time.

Righteousness89: And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
Everywhere u look , you see Bible fulfillment!
This our Generation is Definitely the Rapture Generation
sammyj: I hope they know the consequences of this action without providing food and other palliative to the populace! Not doing so is also a pandemic on it's own!! " Many families have not been to bury their dead but exception was given to Aba Kyari and his family!
As you know snakes feed mostly on rats and rats are known to burrow or dig holes in the ground. So as Mr.Snake chases after Mr.Rat, Mr.Rat runs into it's hole thinking it is safe but Mr.Snake still continues it's chase after Mr.Rat into Mr.Rat's hole and Mr.Snake might catch Mr.Rat if it's lucky.
If Mr.Snake gets unlucky and Mr.Rat Escapes Mr.Snake would have lost it's way and then tries to find every possible way to get out of the hole and the only way it can do this is to follow the direction air is coming from and unfortunately again, that air is coming from your toilet pipe that is connected to your septic tank under the ground.
The snakes then follows this path and ends up in your toilet.
Is the snake going to dig the sand up to the toilet sink or is it going to make hole in the pipe?
Nobody should pray for my experience and I don't wish my enemy this. I got a JAMB direct admission in 1994 but due to undue favouritism towards my siblings because of my parents archaic belief that the girl child were more valuable than the male child, and being the eldest child, my parents conspired and liked that they could not finance it. Some family friends offered to sponsor my education, especially one who at that time was a Judge of the Court of Appeal Enugu Division, but they blocked it. Instead they raised money for the women education while I had to work various jobs to survive.
Humiliation followed because of my inability to further my education but as fate will have it I was introduced to the world of finance and with my GCE became a ICAN chartered accountant and ACCA qualified and owning my own business. That also makes it a source of envy as I am the first born.
Uniquekriss: The toughest punishment i ever received was when i used my dad's phone to call a girl and my dad was among the few who had cellphone then, that motorolla and siemens era, d era when people would buy phone and save money for another 6months b4 he can buy SIM , they had warned me severally before then cos he noticed his airtime was always going down even when he didnt do a call, on that fateful evening he was to call someone and noticed there wasn't airtime and i was the only1 around, he asked me to kneel down, gave me d flogging of my life with all those animal skin koboko, i had bruises, he asked mom to grind pepper which she did without having a choice, after that they poured d pepper on my naked body, that night i left d house and it was that same night i lost my virginity to same girl that made me receive such treatment, we did it in a primary school open field at night. I miss my dad. RIP sir.
Iwillsurvivedis: I don't doubt the existence of the virus on the continent but those figures in Nigeria expecially Lagos and Kano is highly doubtful. Kano just demanded 15 billion from the federal government to fight the disease and any sane person will know that tracing or giving account of the funds afterwards will be highly impossible
Initially north reject lockdown, Kano can't continue testing due to lack of reagents, demands 15 billion Naira, relaxed lockdown for Ramadan shopping, the NGF demanded based on an agreement for additional compulsory 14 days total lockdown across the country. Well I call it #covi419
To look Pete Edochie in the eyes and tell him you're dropping out of school.
That is not courage but he was brought up that way being Igbo Yoruba don't bring their children up in such manner except for few advanced ones. You are not permitted to have opinion let alone talk.
Olalan: Social media and its downside.... why people record things and put it on social media is puzzling. The quest to gain cheap likes and comments is driving people crazy in this generation. BTW anybody that faults the man for milding scolding the son probably hasn't worked hard to earn money, the man is mentally tortured to see his son waste his money in the most foolish manner...
Thank you, the man felt all the humiliation in this world for being used by his own son like that. The recorder and poster who I suspect to be the stupid mother is a deamon.
obicoolnino: The boy definately had a poor foundation in his academics but there's still room for improvement. Beating the kid won't open his brain but it's sad to see all the money spent on him go to waste.
What are you saying where did you see beating here but spontaneous reaction from a disappointed father.
The wife and from her voice in the background. I think the man should go for paternity test as well as if the wife love and meant well for him and the family at large. Then the wife should go for mental test.
