In this harsh economy 1,870,000 for a 2007 camry with formaica design for that matter is the fairest deal u can ever get...i doubt u can get it anywhere else. either this car was purchased before the dollar hike or the seller is just someone that doesnt over maximize gain.

if u see tokunbo 2007 camry for the price u r offering..oga pick race ooooo.. u might just be paying for a stolen car or a very cute lemon

oga... fuel is the least of ur problems......every part of that car is money..the servicing sef na money......when they tell u to come and buy water pump for 78k or powersteering pump for 200k, dat u can easily get for 5k and 10k in a regular car.

and the worst case scenario if the gear or engine go spoil...gobeee...u go collect loan to fix car

My advice: ur monthly salary or income if u aint a salary earner should conviniently cover the most expensive part of the car u intend buying. so if u can conviniently afford a range rover engine, gear or brain box...then fuel shuldnt be ur problem.

When is this shout about discrimination going to stop sef.....there's now a thread debating the matter. I read through some of the points of those in support of equality, some of the points were just plainly pathetic...

So if a job is advertised for a masters degree holder, just because a BSc holder can do the same job if trained, the job should just be given to a BSc holder so that the nation can move foward abi? I can single handedly audit a company's financial records with my ACCA certification, still doesnt make me equal with a CFA certified person. Both certifications are similar in some ways but also different in many ways, I dont think anyone should listen to me when i start crying and shouting discrimination just becos a job post is requesting for CFA certification that i dont posses
For crying out loud, this shout of discrimination to me is a case of greed, no offense to HND holders. To me its like HND holders want to apply for every vacant graduate position available, even BSc graduates dont have that luxury. There are so many job post strictly for HND holders in mighty companies like exxon mobil, British american tobacco etc. Should the Bsc holders start shouting discrimination cos they cant get that same job when they are also at home completely jobless.

There are companies that say they specifically want federal university graduates, some hospitals dont employ doctors from private universities, Nigerian brewries employ first class only for thier management trainee programme, but take in other class of graduates for other job position. every company has its preference. I see no discriminition in it.

Discrimination is :a company hiring a male over female with the same qualification because that company is trying to avoid 3month maternity leave and continous payment of salary for that same 3months.

Or a hiring christain over a muslim because the company doesnt want someone leaving the office for prayers at specific hours of the day.

Or not hiring an albino just because of thier looks despite relevant certification in place


There's a reason why both institution exist in the first place, so whats this shout about equality. Is the equality shout limited to labour market only or they also want the right to have a masters and PHD when they are through with the diploma...... OH! finaly ive been avoiding that word all morning...DIPLOMA..... u guys should just stop calling a diploma a degree,its an educational blunder.

I feel it is time for me to reshuffle the work experience section on my resume. This has become necessary because I perceived that employers do have conflicting thought on my work experience.

I actually graduated in the year 2011 but I had gained 6+ years experience from my previous role as a Hotel Receptionist. In 2012, I resigned to participate in the National Service Scheme.

I currently work as a Customer Care Rep with 1+ years experience. I included these jobs in my resume which sum up to 9+ years work experience.

I observed that some people including Interviewers raise eye-brow when they noticed I already had 9+ years experience while I graduated 2011 which I have to start explaining how I gained it. My concern is that not all employers will give me opportunity to explain this.

I feel I need to omit the roles I held before I graduated. Moreover, most people do not include Every Job they've held on their resume.


Excerpt of my work experience as appeared on my resume;
* Volunteer Admin Assistant 2015 - Till Date
* Customer Care Rep 2014 - Till Date
* Teacher-NYSC 2012 - 2013
* Receptionist 2005 - 2012

Recently, I had an interview for a Client Service Officer position and the interviewer noticed the Volunteer role & the Customer Care Rep position. She had to pause and asked why I hold dual employment. I told her the Admin Assistant position in an NGO is an unpaid job and it's part-time. She ended the interview saying; she's going to get back to me. I know that the end of that employment for me.

Will it be necessary I omit the NYSC & Receptionist roles or there's a better way to write them on my resume?
Should I remove the Volunteer position from the work experience?

Do I need to remove unrelated job experiences from my resume whenever I applied for specific job title?

Kindly advice before I commit further blunder.

I feel it's not a bad idea ie if u don't have anything to hide from a particular place uve worked b4....ur cv starts getting important from ur NYSC..anything b4 dat is either industrial attachment, holiday job or internship, dnt get me wrong am not saying pre-NYSC isn't important....but u may or may not have special advantage than someone that doesn't have any pre NYSC job experience...but anythin from NYSC should be on the cV...if u don't put it...ur interviewer will notice nd they will be curious why u have a gap after NYSC..cos they wanna know if u were just plain jobless,sitting at home doing noting waiting for job(which might represent unseriousness)...or maybe u were sacked or did something wrong at that former work place nd u don't want ur new employer finding out....all in all..theres no wasted or irrelevant experience...if u were not sacked for incompetence or fraud...let that experience be on paper well explained.

There was never a time where the any education body or the federal government made a diploma nd university thesame... a company that wants a degree holder for a particular job position isn't discriminating...do u know how may times I've tried applying for a job in ExxonMobil mobil nd they say they want only HND, same for BAT...nd there are times they want BSc....just deal with it...every job post has its specification...
