I don't know why people feel sorry for themselves in this country.. I graduated over 15yrs ago the person with the highest GPA in my department & I think 1st class never got a job she is now making bead, I met a guy last 2yrs 1st class engineering just finished service he said he wants to go and work in his mother's bukka as he isn't sure if he will get a job. I got a call from a number saved as SPAM on trucaller, I think the company name is LCREDIT. They called a name (which I couldn't hear it was too fast) saying someone I know collected a loan from them and I should alert the debtor to pay up claiming I am a guarantor and I will be barred from financial transactions if the person doesn't pay up.

First can I be a guarantor without my consent? Do these companies have the right to disturb others for someone that collects loan from them? I think the CBN and Consumer protection council should look into this.

I think it's best talking to her about it especially your fears as u have poured it out here anonymously. She might just understand if u don't use force or being authoritarian about it. A simple discuss might solve the problem.
