MrBrownJay1:Anything you don't nip in the bud before the fact can get you engrossed. It's human nature. |
abdeiz:I'm not, atleast not anymore. That's why i'm no longer looking out for a perfect candidate. I know Atiku and what he is capable of bringing to te table and that is why i think it's pertinent i support him above all other opportunists. |
To say that i'm ashamed of this decision to support former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar is an understatement. However, after examining Nigerian politics and it's idiosyncrasies, ive come to realist that it will be easier for a camel to pass through the hole in a needle than for the best man to become the president of Nigeria. When i say best man, i'm talking of technocrats in the mold of Soludo, Fashola, Sanusi, Ezekwesili, Iweala and people who truly went to school and understand the economics that's involved in running a nation. And more importantly, the person must be a nation builder devoid of tribal jingoism and religious extremism like the man we have in power today. Like i said, it will be tough for Nigeria to elect someone who embodies these qualities because even the electorate is not educated enough to know what the nation needs. In view of this, i'm left with Atiku Abubakar. He may not be the technocrat that we desire and he may be part of the old brigade. But one thing that i like about him is his smartness and willingness to relate with people from different parts of the country. If you look at the north for example, very few leaders embodies his uncommon charisma and charm despite all that has been said about him while he was deputy president, whether true or not. Atiku is not a saint, infact, he's very far from being a saint. But at this time in our life as a nation, we need someone like him who can unite the country unlike the division in Buhari. never again are we going to decorate a seasoned tribalist and religious afionado to become the president of a multi ethnic and rleigious country like Nigeria. Come 2019, except a major political party elects a close to perfect candidate, i think i'll stick with Atiku Abubakar. That's my choice and i hope and know that he picks his deputy from the South-East. Only then can we hope for a better country for us and our children. |
Gotaya:I really don't think this should make sense. It's just because most teams win their home games or atleast get a draw. |

I am reliable. I have some hosting space on my server and i sell to genuine business or blog owners. So, if you fit the bill, you can drop your contact and i'll contact you. |
Nairaland runs on a VPS or dedicated server because of it's behemoth size. |
If he has refused to give you the details then there is nothing you guys can do about it. You may need to design a new website and forgo that one. |

Of course, the non natives will endorse APC which they have the right to do. However, the majority will have their way on election day. |
wirinet:You're a blatant liar. Jonathan made the statement you're talking about when he paid a visit to the south east. It's normal for leaders to massage the egos of the people they visit. he made similar statements in other parts of the country that he visited. Beside the statement about Igbos being a pillar of his administration does not in anyway discount other parts of the country and he never said so, so i'm surprised that you're reading other meanings into the statement. Keep manufacturing hate speeches that do not exist. |
Stories like this just make me happy. Scammers and dishonest people are worse than kidnappers. |

GavelSlam:Why is it also difficult to grasp that the president himself is not engendering peace and tranquility by his utterances. He has proven time and time again to be a tribal bigot and sectional aficionado. |
Develpeast:You're speaking in parables. Make your point lucid. |
GavelSlam:Keep dribbling yourself and not me. How can someone who has made numerous hate speech both before he became president and after the fact, have the effrontery to want to crack down on supposed hate speech. It just means he's as hypocritical as they come and you're his student. |
GavelSlam:You still did not answer the question posed. Has Buhari ever made any hate speech or not? |
Abagworo:That's good to know. I think it will give the city a more beautiful look. |
ReneeNuttall:Your okro looks nice. Is that isam (periwinkle) i see? |
When did blacks start dominating American congress. They should tell us the truth. |
RedboneSmith:The deeper meaning is to be patient or something like that. |
Alexk2:What will you say about ABU that came second? |
Has Eastern Palm university started accepting students? cc: abagworo |
PDPGuy:Did he? The only video i saw of him was when he was waiving to people like he was campaigning. What's worse than that was that people were actually haling him. I think there are loads of Nigerians in Texas cos the unnecessary praise singing is the prerogative of Nigerians. |
What the OP has said is what a lot of southerners have in their mind but are afraid to say it. The only people i Nigeria that are capable of resetting the course of history whether positively or negatively are the Igbos and to some extentNortherners. These people are mavericks and especially the Igbos, they're not political and don't really think about the negative impact a decision will have on them. Once they thing something isn't right, they go all out to fight it ignoring every atom of decorum in a bid for optimization. That's exactly what they're doing with IPOB. As much as i'm not necessarily a pro Biafra person, i have always been miffed with the opponents of IPOB who have refused to present an alternative to dividing the country. They just want to sit on their hands and do absolutely nothing hoping that by the sheer supernatural goodwill of God, everything will just change for the better. I can assure you that in the next 300 years, our children will keep waiting for something to happen except a deliberate and concise action is taken. |
FisifunKododada:It's obvious you don't know the difference between rain and hurricane. |
Oga leave cream and focus on other important things. I've not rubbed cream for almost 5 years and i passed an exam last year. I didn't think it was possible. |

I'm divided about what happened at the market in Owerri. Truth is, i'm sure the traders were notified months before the demolition. It's just that as a people, we don't listen to warnings until something happens. However, i think Rochas played a very bad role by saying that no one died without first confirming. The over zealous members of the security apparatus that committed the heinous act of killing innocent people should be arrested and made to face the full weight of the law. Another issue that i want to address, is about Rochas as a person and his supposed development strides in Imo state. Rochas promised a lot in 2011 and while i think he hadn't achieved up to 60% (the promises were gargantuan), i don't think he's the worst governor in the south east. I actually think he's one of the best in the country. You can see evidence of what he has done in the state even though most of his strides are focused on Owerri, the capital. Having said that, i will continue to call out Rochas pertaining to the insults he keeps dishing at Igbos just because of Buhari. let's learn to saparate Rochas as a person and what he has done. This also applies to Abagworo. it's not everything Rochas says that you support hook, line and sinker. He's a human being and makes mistakes. |
No fanfare, nothing. This our president is soo dull just like the economy. Twa. |
