You must have been jacked by a professional thief! Very sly and cunning. Doesnt matter where you go in this world, some of the most suave and persuasive crooks hang out at posh hotels.
If you are going to be getting around and meeting people alot, i suggest you learn a few kiswahili phrases. In as much as many kenyans can and do speak English, its kiswahili that is king around these parts. Have you heard of the saying, speak to a man in a language he understands and it will go to his head, but speak to him in his language and it goes to his heart.

heard you sir.

I never said anything as the best breed. Lol. I noticed first hand Kenya men aren't fun. Only their women were dancing in the club.
It's funny that kenyan women run to Nigerian guys while Nigerian guys run to kenyan/East African women. All the Kenyans i knew in mauritius had a Nigerian boyfriend save for very few.

Eeeeew! No, I have never lost a girl in such circumstances mhen!

But hey, on a serious note. You are a visitor from Nigeria, Kenyans treat u well cos it is in our nature to treat foreigners in that manner. Even Ghanaians, SAns, Ugandans, Congolese etc are very well treated here. But deep down.......most Kenya bear certain assumptions about the pipo from the other parts of the world.
Our women like Nigerians and other foreigners cos, according to them, they are kind and romantic and generous, and that Kenyans are unromantic and kinda stingy.....that kind of nonsense.

But most Nigrians in Kenya are not really rich. They are pipo struggling, just like the rest of us to study and obtain that certificate, establish businesses, they live in the low-income suburbs such as the Fedha estate, engage in crime on occassions........u are not the best breed of Africans here as u are claim.
Whoever said Nigerians were rich. Assumptions is different from reality. Kost Nigerians are hustlers just like Kenyans, Ghanians etc. Only a few people actually possess that kinda wealth.

Owerri girls won't put men in trouble. ls if your husband or boyrfriend is travelling to owerri for whatever reason, you have every reason to be worried.

Negative. And false. The perception is generally not good.
That being said, its you the person that counts more than your geographical origin. Dont mistake goodness for weakness when you meet the everyday kenyan.
This is more true in developed country not in Africa. As for the perception of Nigerians not being generally good, i agree but that doesn't still rule out the fact that they still think Nigerians are wealthy. And who said anything about weakness. Take a chill pill.

Mauritius......? We are talking about Kenya here. And so many Nigerians have decried their misguided perceptions, stereotypes, treatment towards Nigerians.
Like i said, it's true for most countries in Africa. They see Nigerians kinda like the way Africans see Americans.

Kenyans generally are welcoming and respectful to foreigners. Dont read too much into their behavior around u.

Anyway, Karibu Kenya.
He's right and is true in most African countries. They always feel we all have oil wells or something. I had a similar experience in Mauritius.

If she wasn't getting value for her contract she would have floated a label even if it means having the studio ina corner of her bedroom like is the case with many of the so called labels in Nigeria...it is just a MacBook and soundcard

Tiwa went to a music school, knows the business of record label ownership but is signed to Don jazzy because, branding is everything. Imagine Tiwa strolling ion to receive an award alone and same Tiwa strolling with ten artist...it is a big family and faults are easily forgotten because of one person in your camp
Like i said, the main reason why you would find musicians in the caliber of Tiwa Savage and Iyanya in Mavin is because Mavin is one of the few labels with a structure. The same cannot be said of Olamide's label. So, it's understandable if Adekunle Gold leaves.

A woman runs Ebony life tv ...she is there because she understands the concept of branding and the value of freedom to focus on lyrics and the limelight and allow others worry about government agents, publicity , sound engineering etc and when to put out album and when not.
Of course there exceptions to the rule and Mo Abudu is one. I can assure you that if Tiwa was a man, she would have floated her own record label.

What I don't understand is why some acts of supposed immorality are more acceptable than others. Imo, I think anyone who accepts his fate as a baby mama/papa is living up to their responsibility. It's better than fvcking shadows all over town.

Tiwa knows more about music and business than all of ybnl but remains under MaVin.
There are reasons why Tiwa prefers to remain in Mavin. One, Mavin is probably the stongest record label in Nigeria and she is a woma (no offence to feminists).
