You people are just being typical of what Nigerians are known for. Apportioning blame to the coach or some of the players like they even performed better than this in their previous fixtures. Our problem is that, just like the English people, we always expect magic. The team is at best average and cannot give what they do not have. They played their best but lost the game to a superior Croatian team with star studded players. It's not like we've not always had a team with above average players even during the USA 94 era, the only difference is that our midfield was fantastic. Today, our midfield even seems like the weakest link. How does an Ighalo score goals if he's not been fed. I have to say that Mikel's time in the super eagles is over because despite being our number 10, he holds the ball black and is slow in pace. convert Iwobi to a number 10 and give Moses serious warning about always falling. His dribbles in the wings do not yield any result. Whenever he gets the ball, he should cross it into the box 18 for our strikers to battle it out. Another problem the team have is a lot of distraction. If they're not posing for the camera, they're dancing shaku shaku or taking a walk in the park. This people do not strain well. Even in their training, i don't see any atom of seriousness. |
Xander85:While the crop of politicians we had in pre civil war were charismatic and the best we've had is because they had leverage. If they were around in this present dispensation, they would have been just as bad as the present crop. Our problem started from the civil war, after which there was a conscious effort to make sure we do not rise politically or economically and in order to do so, they needed to select politicians from our areas who will not ask too much question. They choose people who were more after filling their own pockets than the betterment of Igboland. That's the present crop of politicians you would see defending the present government against the atrocities of Igbo people. A case in point is Rochas, Orji Uzor Kalu, Ken Nnamani and eve the ones in the opposition. They can't risk being seen as adversaries to the Hausa-Fulani hegemony. |
First and foremost, you need o deactivate auto-billing. That should be the reason why they are charging you that much. Hostgator is a decent host but a bit on the expensive side. You can try Namecheap or Hawkhost. |
These guys have insulted Nigeria with their predictions. They say we won't win any match and will ultimately come last in the group https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFXGU3_ief8 |
tbaba1234:I think he should remain in Villareal for a few more years and ultimately even remain in Spain. I think we're missing a certain kind of players in the super eagles. Players who py their trade in Spain, Italy or even France. Our players in the premiership are usually not technically sound. They're just strong and fit. |
This fashion parade should just stop. |
Ishilove:Especially when it said that she shot the man three times. |
Please, what are Non-Nigerians seeing in our super eagles that some of us cannot see? I watched a couple of ESPN videos where people were predicting which countries will qualify from the groups, and most people were choosing Argentina and Nigeria and then saying that Nigeria will be eliminated by France in the second round. |
Ishilove:I think a lot of ladies know where to pull the trigger in a gun. It can be that hard. |
Most serious criminals are men because they have the built for it. But if you ever encounter any woman that is a criminal, please run for dear life. They don't have mercy or conscience. For them to be allowed in a group of male criminals means that they have done something worthy of note like cutting off a guy's pen1s and eating it. I remember some years ago when when a group of police men accosted me and labelled me a yahoo boy, as i was inside the bus they threw me into, i saw one lady among them and was trying to explain to her because i saw her as a woman with conscience, guess what she told me, "if you no shut up, i go carry cut off your blokos". I just switched over to the men there who have a way of controlling their wickedness. |

The much anticipated Linda Ikeji TV was launched on the 8th of June 2018 and unlike when its predecessor, Linda Ikeji Social (LIS) was launched, was not really in a hurry to sign up because i was burnt the last time or let me say, i was a bit disappointed. LIS even had more buzz than LITV and i was one of the very first people to check it out and being the pessimist that i can be sometimes, i knew something would go wrong and i was damn right. From the sign up, to the email verification to the way people were allowed to follow each other without recourse for rules was surprising to me. But i stayed diligent to the brand, especially because it was coming from Linda Ikeji. I have always supported Linda Ikeji in my own way and i tend to hype whatever she lays her hands on because i like success stories like hers. But i noticed a lot of unnecessary lapses in LIS even from the way the programmers had worked. It was embarrassing and that is why i wasn’t surprised when she lambasted her programmers publicly. It was expected. I was hoping that Linda Ikeji has learned her lessons and done her home work before launching Linda Ikeji TV. I also had my pessimism, not on the quality of the platform but on the fact that internet penetration was very low in Nigeria and that it would not be greeted with so much fanfare. But then I thought, if IROKO could do with, why not LITV. I registered on Linda Ikeji TV yesterday on the website platform and it was as seamless as possible. The look and feel of the platform was out of this world, the registration, was short and smooth. I was impressed with how quick the email confirmation came in. I was also impressed with how smooth the payment went (I have to give a big kudos to Flutterwave). After paying the 1000 Naira monthly subscription fee which I thought was fair, I checked if there was an LITV android app on Google play store and there it was with over 5000 downloads in its first week. I was utterly impressed with the app as much as i was with the web version. After going through the first hurdle of registration and payment, I was opened up to the entire platform and the first show I wanted to watch was “VERIFIED” by Tope Olowoniyan, who happens to be a friend of mine. I couldn’t resist the temptation of watching the interview with controversial Daddyfreeze and didn’t regret I did. In my bid to review the quality of production and to tickle my fancy, i watched Tonto Dike’ reality show titled “KING TONTO” and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of production and the fact that, this is probably the first time I was watching a Nigerian reality show that had a semblance of quality and reality. After watching these two shows so far, I must commend Linda Ikeji for gathering pretty good graphic and video editors. I just couldn’t believe the quality. No wonder these content could not go to Youtube because they’re too premium for Youtube. While i find the platform great so far, there are areas that I think needs to be worked on. When launching an app, there is usually a stage where, despite the product being open to the public, it is still being tested. That stage is called the BETA stage. It's usually not advisable to think you have done all the testing in house and then offload to the public. I say this people i see a couple of complaints from people who are trying to make payment and a few other complaints. I also think prospective users should be allowed to have a taste of the content on the platform before having to pay to have the full meal. That’s a common practice and even more so, due to the fact that Nigerians will like to know what they are paying for. Secondly, i think there needs to be an addition of more content, every week in the least because if I pay 1k for subscription this month and i happen to watch everything on the platform, there may not be any need to pay for the subsequent month, if there’s no new content for me to watch. In all, Linda Ikeji is a great platform with quality shows for your entertainment; I assure that you won’t regret any kobo you spend on it. I want to congratulate Linda Ikeji on a job well done. Now Obasanjo is the villian? Was he not voted for by Nigerians to emerge as president? |
safarigirl:Good to know ![]() |
@Safarigirl How far? |
aribisala0:I go to the Lagos secretariat very often and all i see are Yoruba people. If there are Igbo people, they will be very minute and difficult to notice. |
aribisala0:Please, let's not even go there. |
aribisala0:I'm sure it would have been okay by you if this was done in lagos. |
Ofuzo:We really have a long way to go with people reasoning like this. A lot of Igbos are too emotional with religion to the point that it becomes disgusting. What have the so called Christian countries done for us other than exploit and abandon us. |
igbodefender:I'm not interested in any agreement that leaves Buhari there till 2023. if it means never having an Igbo president, then so be it. Buhari must go. |
God punish both you and Hopeless Uzoadiromma. |
Beorn:Nudes don't last long anymore.. Give it one one month max, it will disappear into thin air. I can name people who had nudes that no one remembers anymore. Wande Coal, Pokello, Chidimma etc? |
I'm surprised Lagos did not make the cut. It seems human life is no more sacrosanct in Lagos due to the huge population. 200 people getting missing out of 20 million shouldn't be a source of worry? |
I don't like this kind of law. It;s tantamount to just dividing the country, so that everyone can rest. Instead of this, why not compel companies to to employ people who have lived in the state for at least 2 years because these people are also contributing to the state through taxes. |
I hope it's not fashion parade the super eagles are going to do in Russia. This one that they're changing outfits like they're modelling for Debola Lagos. |
MrBrownJay1:It's it funny how a lot of Nigerians abroad keep talking of coming back home but only less than 2% actually do? if being at home was that important, there would have been a mass exodus of people yearning to return to Nigeria. having said that, the Op was actually speaking from a perspective of what us wrong with the country and the need to avoid it if one must be successful without blemish and i agree with him. |
AfonjaBoston:Oga, that's how it feels when you leave Naija for a while. The moment, you come back, you'll hate yourself. Things have gotten worse since you left and are still getting worse. Stay there. |
Rectortech4u:It;;s hard to give visa to someone who has a wife, kid and still pursuing an undergraduate degree. Your age could also have been another factor. |
He is very spot on. Southerners have lost the spirit of "be your brother's keeper". As long as something does not affect us directly, we just continue with our business. |
