This politicians are not aware that frying garri and buying roasted corn or bole will not save them in 2019. if you like fry garri for a whole community, if the people don't like you, you will fail. |

lafuria1:Now i understand. I was wondering why i was always seen vacancies from them. |
Blue3k:Like i said, there's a lot of waste going on. Once the system is cleaned up, a lot of money will be realized. I'll check the guy out. |

Isn't that the bridge that leads to Berger area? I drove past that area once and i was scared for my life. |
efembaba:Take for example, this one liner is an article. The Buhari's government have failed to deliver what he promised Nigerians. You can rewrite it to become Nigerians are yet to receive the dividends of democracy that were promised by President Buhari's government. It's that simple. All you have to do is reconstruct it. It's called Paraphrasing. |
KratosCorp:So, in other words, you don't have any evidence? |
Mynd44:Maybe if we actually scrutinize the inslated amounts used for projects in this country and cut down on unnecessary overheads, we won't say Nigeria is broke. I'm not even saying i support everything in his manifesto. I'm more interested in his drive. Anyone can come up with an excellent manifesto which can be drawn up by someone who is knowledgeable in the field but that does not mean that the candidate in question has the capacity to do what he says. A case in point is Buhari/APC's almost perfect manifesto.. |
KratosCorp:If you think he's corrupt which i'm not doubting, but please provide evidence to that fact. |
Mynd44:Almost everyone i know is tired of the old order. Even though i also thought of the fact that this could split the votes, i think i'm more interested in sending a message than actually winning. |
Blue3k:I really don't see what is unrealistic in 100k minimum wage. Are we so pessimistic that we think some things are out of reach? or is it because previous administrations have failed us after promising heaven and earth and we think that anybody who says something similar is somehow lying. I may not know Sowore personally bu what i see is a man that is tired of the status quo and he has made it known through Sahara reporters. Btw, who's this Adamu Garba guy. I want to check him out too. |
RedboneSmith:I think this ignorance is more in the south-west, maybe it's because that is where i live but it's a national phenomenon. The only reason a reasonable number of Igbos may seem informed is because they travel a lot but they can be as ignorant. That's why anybody from the middlebelt upwards can be termed "hausa". Even a Muslim Yoruba may not escape from the muslim tag. @OP To answer your question, it's imperative that the term south-south are artificial constructs and don't necessarily mean that they are the same people. While the SE is mostly made up of Igbos, a reasonable amount of the SS is also made of Igbos or atleast Igbo speaking people even though some of them wan to be known otherwise. Now, other parts of the south-south are made up of a lot of other groups including Ijaws, Efkik/Ibibio, Andoni, Bini, Ishan and so on. |
After taking a second look at the political intrigues, i have decided that in order for us to take Nigeria to the promised land we must begin to make concerted efforts at voting for the right people, especially as the presidential election in 2019 draws closer. One of the people that we must begin to look at is Omoyele Sowore. The average Nigerian is unstable politically, but you can’t blame them because they have been death a deadly blow by previous administrations that promised heaven and earth but as soon as they got into power became worse than their predecessors. Worst, still, they start insulting the people who put them in power. A typical example is the current president, Muhamadu Buhari who got into power because a lot of Nigeria we’re tired of the status quo and they saw this humble man from Daura as their only saving grace. Actually, they saw the humility that was packaged and sold to them by the same political elites that they have love to hate and hate too love. After getting the mandate of the people, the administration of Buhari starting a series of character assassination on the same people that put him there. First, he called the fantastically corrupt and recently, he told the whole world that Nigerian youths are lazy and never-do-wells. Don’t forget that this same man contested in previous elections and lost but was somehow repackaged to Nigerians. I, myself have been guilty for political gallivanting because i also support the current president in 2011 when Nigerians would not even listen to what he had to say. In 2017, even though i didn’t support him, i preferred him to the status quo at the time. Not too long ago, i also called for support for former vice president, Atiku Abubakar whom i know that, even though he’s not a saint, he is better than the man currently occupying the Aso Rock space and because he stands a better chance. Recently, I’ve been weighing my options seriously and i have come to believe that we need a fresh face to lead this country. That is someone who is not part of the current political space. Some who is a rebel and ready to fight for what he believes in and the only person that i have seen so far is Omoyele Sowole, The publisher of Sahara Reporters. While i’ve had reservation about his media outfit, I think no one can be said to be perfect and i don’t expect him to be. But one thing i know for sure is that, he seems like a man who knows his onions and stands by it no matter whose ox may be gored. I put it to Nigeria that Sowore is not the messiah that we have been clamouring for because there isn’t one. But he’s the person who is going to change the political atmosphere of the country if giving the slightest chance. I urge the youths of Nigeria to stand before our own. We should on come out and be counted as we make history bu uprooted the decades of decadence that has pervaded our land. Our destinity is ours, let’s take it. Vote Omoyele Sowore for 2019. https://ovoko.com.ng/must-support-omoyele-sowore-become-president-2019/

TonyeBarcanista:You're the one who seems to suffer from myopia if that's the only thing you could take away from my post. If at this very young age, you can change political parties and allegiance more than Atiku's entire political career then i feel sorry for you. |
TonyeBarcanista:I'll say that your support for Markafi is a selfish one which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm only concerned when you people use words such as qualified, credible and track-record. I just went through his profile that you or whoever garnished it, and it was bleh. My profile is even more intimidating than his. Now, if you were to support someone like Donald Duke, most people will not bother reading what you wrote because his track record speaks for him till date. The likes of Markafi are the people that should be left in the past because they represent everything that is wrong with the country. It's only sad that a young man like yourself who should be standing behind healthy and forward thinking people, would rather bandy the idea that a beneficiary of federal character is better than over 180 million Nigerians. Tufiakwa. |
murchurat:And how were you able to decipher this from Fela Durotoye. |
As much as i'm in support of young people coming out to contest, i don't think being young is a pre-requisite of being elected as Nigeria's president. You must have the a track record that distinguishes you from your pairs and i don't think Durotoye has that. Being a motivational speaker is not just enough. I will actually pick Sowore ahead of him. |
Na wa.This girl strong ooo |
investnow2013:Ohh, is it in that axis? I never really thought of it. |
What makes me happy about Anambra is that in the next decade, it will become a state that we can use to brag. it's getting there forcefully. |
investnow2013:It will make a lot of sense to build nice resort style hotels on the banks of that lake. It look really nice. |
Recharge card sellers are the ones who should upgrade. I won't come and be stressing myself because i want to buy recharge card. The last time i bought recharge card physically was about 8 months ago. |
FrankGiel:Things like this are really hard to decipher. For instance, if you say it's Tobi's fans that are going to follow Alex, why are Miracle's fans not following Nina? I think you people should understand that there's a different between having people who are interesting in you and people who are supporting you in a reality show. Alex would have had a lot of supporters on the shjow if she showed seriousness but she had people who like her but were not really interested if she won or nor. Those are the people following her on instagram. |
BleSSedMee:I dey tell you. Even now Nina has surpassed Teddy A and Bam bam. |
