Count the number of people protesting if they are more than those standing with him. Most of the top brains are in UK, USA, China, Nigeria etc.. The truth will reveal itself one day. I can't look down on the mission bestow on billgate as I know he is not working alone.
Blakewilli: As we know, fasting and praying is a stronger means of reaching out to God.
I'll go first; On that day, i I didn't really plan to fast but I just felt the need to do it. I began on this day and concluded it on the third day.
My experience On the first Day of My Fast: I feared that I might not have strength to stay without food so my first prayer point was about me begging God for a supernatural strength to carry on with the fast.
My Experience On The Second Day; It was like I was going to die. I felt the need for food badly. I was in my family house then, so I was even more tempted when I saw family members eating but I was able to avoid all that by God's grace
My Experience On The Third/Last Day Of My Fast; On this day, it was like I had no need for feed at all. My body had suddenly miraculously adapted to going without food. I was the one who just decided to break the fast on that day.
So that's my longest fast for now, a 3 days fasting. I hope to accomplish more. N.B: You can go about your daily routine as usual even while fasting but the main point is obeying God's word the more and reading his word backed up with prayers at intervals. Happy Sunday.
Share Your Experiences.
Fasting is not what God recommended for Christians neither does it give salvation!. It's optional, not mandatory. Faith, love your neighbor like yourself, baptism, practice righteousness and preach the will of God.
davidinchrist: Truly, followers of Jesus are not exactly perfect and can't be perfect on earth like Jesus till His second coming; however, we have been called to Repent of KNOWN SINS and PRESS UNTO PERFECTION in Jesus.
It's about time we stopped believing that doing good: going to church regularly (as a member/worker/pastor, etc), paying tithes and offerings, helping people or being nice, planting churches and other good works are signs of being born-again or saved. We can't possibly bribe our way into God's kingdom by doing Good Works which are as good as Filthy Rags in God's sight.
Jesus said A Person must be Born Again to enter God's kingdom.
Now, to be born again means to TURN AWAY FROM SINS AND WORLDLINESS (starting from conscious areas, then later to unconscious areas of sins: from the known to the unknown sins). Hebrew chap. 6, Roman chap 7 & 8
Unfortunately, most Evangelists, Pastors, and Churches in general only end up making "Branded Church-Members," NOT necessarily Converted members (disciples), but people of like-minded that would faithfully pay their FIRST FRUITS, TITHES AND OFFERINGS, ETC. That prompts the question on whether they themselves are saved or NOT: the chances are that they ARE NOT, OR ONCE WERE, BUT NOW "FALLEN AWAY".
Are you truly SAVED?
Are you judging yourself; Repenting and PRESSING ONTO PERFECTION?
OR you're still a victim of Money seeking: Corrupt and Greedy Preachers?
It's TIME to Repent of Empty Church Religion that does not lead to HOLINESS (obedience to Jesus according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John).
1 John 2:6 NLT Those who say they live in God should LIVE their lives as Jesus DID.
Luke 5:32 KJV I came not to CALL the righteous, but Sinners to Repentance.
Hebrews 6:1 KJV ... let us GO on unto PERFECTION; ...
Hebrews 12:14 KJV Follow peace with all men , and HOLINESS, without which no man shall SEE the Lord:
John 5:14 NLT 14 But afterward Jesus found him in the Temple and TOLD him, “Now you are WELL; SO STOP SINNING, or something even WORSE may happen to you.”
Matthew 24:24 NLT 24 For FALSE messiahs and FALSE PROPHETS will rise up and PERFORM GREAT SIGNS AND WONDERS so as to Deceive, if possible, EVEN God’s Chosen Ones.
May Jesus Bless You.
Your Attitude To Sin Determines Your Salvation/Perfection, Not Activities:
Your heading is confusing! What is attitute? What is activities? It is only the word of God that can reshape the character of a man, because the heart of a man is desperately wicked. Attitude is your method of reaction to issues. Once the word of God has shaped your character it will affect your attitude or reaction to issues.
What do you mean when you said " NOT ACTIVITIES" A true Christian life is backed by activities! a. The bible said go into the world preach, baptise them in the name of the father, the son and holy spirit. (Activity) b. Love your neighbor like yourself (Activity) c. Practice righteousness (Activity) d. Do not forsake the gathering of brothers (Activities) e. Keep doing this in remembrance of me (Activities) f. Pray incessantly (Activities) Just an obsavation. What do I know.
OkpanachiMax: Treating sexual immorality in general in which fornication(premarital sex), adultery(extra-marital sex), masturbation, pornography etc are included.
Human sexuality is so explicit and complex that we need to deal with it from within. Indecent dressing live on the street and on social media is the greatest influence of these things.
Also the evolution of adult film industry sealed the fate of mankind. Man for instance was created with a constant sexual feeling, this sexual feeling is low when there is no erotic image and high when there is, so in order to suppress this feeling, we need to minimize our activities on social media, we need to sensitize the female to dress decently if not we will all rot in hell with our religious sentimentality because 95% of youths are guilty of this.
NB: It is not easy to preach what you are guilty of if you have a strong conscience
Feel free to add your own contributions
The devil is a very smart angel, he has successfully designed sexual attracting packages that has crawl into our minds unconsciously.
1. Entertainment is ruled by the devil: Music, Film and dance they all promote 95% fornication. 2. Youths see no wrong with baby mamas anymore 3. Fashion promote sex 4. Adverts promotes sex 5. Abortion is no longer a crime 6. Ladies prefers married men than starting life with a struggling young men 7. Churches leaders promotes wealthy men and women not minding how they made their money, thereby negate the struggling one. 8. Churches now speak low of sexual immorality 9. Parents unaware of pushing there daughter into immorality when they teach them how to bring home successful fine man, instead of advocating for God fearing men with prospect. 10. Make I shop that man money, make I shop the other man money, make I shop the boy money na em women take they start Ashewo business.
obembet: The former Kaduna State Senator and civil rights activist, Shehu Sani, has said that no state in Nigeria is safe from coronavirus as long as Kano state is not safe.
@ShehuSani
Source: https://twitter.com/ShehuSani/status/1256616183081689089?s=19[/quote]I don't understand the way some Nigerians dey think ooo. The way we think in Nigeria turns me off. If the Virus can fly from Wuhan to other parts of the continent within a few days. What is the distance from Kano to your village? Eg. The Yoruba man living in Kano exit from Kano to Lagos with the virus, same applies to all other tribes residing in Kano. Tell me if 500,000 people escape from Kano and 100,000 people are positive...are we not finish? I still support bill gates wife's analysis of seeing dead people on the streets of Africa...No bias mind, it is our attitude or approach to issues that will reduce us to nothing if we are not careful.
God bless you Dangote! Maybe God enriched you because of days of calamity. Maybe this is the original purpose of your birth to this Nation. God bless all the wealthy people he is using to safe mankind in the time of turbulence. Amen
Dangote is not doing it for Kano, this gesture is for all Nigerians. Kano is a difficult terrain for the COVID 19 management. Kano has the highest cigarette smokers and drug abuse users in Nigeria. Controlling them from spreading the virus will be very difficult. No one is safe if Kano becomes uncontrollable.
willyo: FG got audio billions. I suspect probably the FG is the chief financier of these donations. If not, why is that the people don't benefit? Nigeria headed by this guy calls for questioning. Why the North dey wield somuch power sef?
Why the North dey wield somuch power sef?
Ask your great grand father...they all have the answers. NB: Anything they tell you, it's the truth nothing but the truth.
IjawAboki007: I think we should be very careful about the usage of these locally made face masks because of what I saw today. I was in a bus where a passenger called a facemask seller.
After asking for the price, he took one and put it on. He immediately told the seller that he wanted to make another choice. He finally paid for one after putting on about 5 different types. I noticed it and told the man the implication of what he has just done and he became so sober.
Even other passengers were looking fearful because what I said was true. Now, what if that man has the virus, he has succeeded in affecting those masks without knowing.
These infected masks will be bought by other innocent people. It is also possible that is how these facemask hawkers allow buyers to first put it on before they buy.
There is a high possibility the virus can be spread easily this way. For those of us who patronize these local hawkers, let be careful and vigilant.
God bless you for this information, also be ware of road side pure water sellers, Suya Sellers, mai ruwa sellers, nail cutters, blade barbers, saloons, okada riders and taxi drivers.
sarrki: Nigerian financial power house, Access Bank, annunciated the closure of more than 300 of its branches nationwide in a bid cut down running costs as a result of the outbreak of the deadly virus, COVID-19.
This move comes in the wake of a statement made by the group managing director/CEO of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe who explained the reasons behind a planned mass retrenchment of its workforce, stating that some of its branches will be closed up until December of this year.
Herald NG earlier reported that Wigwe made this disclosure via video conferencing in a town hall meeting with the bank’s staff that later leaked on social media platforms.
Wigwe noted that those to be affected by the mass retrenchment are mostly outsourced staff and workers offering nonessential services. This group makes for about 75% of the Organisation’s staff strength in its branches nationwide.
“We probably don’t need as much security as required; even to the fact that we are not gonna have all our branches open between now and December. We don’t need all the tellers.” Wigwe said in the video.
“The second has to do with our professional cost. Now that is one that is very tricky and it is tricky because I do understand and appreciate that its gonna, you know, bring its own pain to staff.
“We basically have to make the adjustments the same way you sounded when we spoke 10 days ago with respect to basically cutting down cost.
“I will be the first to take the hit and I’m gonna take the largest pay cut, which would be as much as 40 percent. The rest we would have to cascade right through the institution. Everybody may have to make some adjustments of some sort.”
Industry observers have the notion that Wigwe’s retrenchment strategy and closure of its branches affects the most vulnerable of his employees. They also believe the move will be counter-productive for many families; especially the poor if the financial records of the bank truly show it has the capacity to cushion the effect of the pandemic.

I have endured poverty for so many years...i think I'm a man of many kinds of weather. For all salary lovers I pity you people this time around. If you fall victim of losing your job...just contact me let me teach you how to use network marketing to your advantage. I also link you to our Whatsapp seminar or invite you to our seminar class in Abuja.
chubinwa: This is purely a social class rift. considering the circumstances around poly graduates, it is certain that the man will not accept you. the only thing that can suit his pride now is money. make more money. I don't mean saving your little salary to accumulate it. I mean make money on bases, this is the only solution.
Please teach him how to make the money sir. I know you are a billionaire...please help him not to lose the love of his life sir.
meetme01: Op, to be sincere, if you don't upgrade before you get married to that lady if eventually things is sorted. You would have issues in your home.
See, it's not a curse. Married folks can attest to this.
Her standard is much higher academically, financially etc than yours. You have been seen as a gold digger. She would want to reside in Lagos due to her job. Not mainland Lagos but on the island. Can you afford accommodation in Lekki or or VI.? She would have much say in the home because her income is much higher and her parents would be supportive. If you're not careful, your home would be dictated by her parents. Before you know, you would turn to their houseboy. At the long run, a hit or foul language on the lady will end the marriage.
Please, yoruba would say, ile ola niyonu. Another says, iyawo burku se fe, ano buruku o se ni (You can mange a bad wife but the in-law should not be harboured).
If you like yourself, make her your best friend and remain best of friends. She would love it that way and any request for support or assistance, she would be glad.
Marriage is not only about love o.
My guy, we are living in a country that does not give opportunities or platforms to her citizens. You are advising the young man to upgrade, upgrade to where?...can you move faster than the available system. Except of course you wanted the man to get involved in filty activities. If they can't accept him like that, he should move to a lady that will love him for whom he is and not for what he is. If the family is so rich, let them upgrade him or they forget about their daughters getting married soon.
landmark86: I graduated from Osun State Polytechnic, Iree. She also graduated from Babcock University.
We both met in 2015 during our NYSC at River State. We serve in the same PPA. She is good, lovely and caring. And to crown it all she is beautiful. I mean so beautiful.
It all started with friendship which later led to relationship. We share so many things together during our time in River State as per what the future holds.
After our NYSC, we both went back to our various base. She is based in Lagos while I reside in Osun. Immediate I finished my NYSC, I got a job with a private organisation as a factory supervisor. But she went further for her Masters in Covenant University, Otta. Despite the distance we still communicate from time to time and at times I do find time to check on her in Otta, while she also do check on me in Osogbo.
After her M.sc, her dad got her a job with a big company in Lagos.
Last year December she came to Osogbo as usual to check on me but fortunately she met my parents and my siblings at my place. They all love and accept her. When she was leaving the next day she told me that her parents told her that they want to meet her fiancé.
12th January, 2020 I travelled down to Lagos to meet her parents. When getting there I met her parents with her only sister. Her dad ask of my parents, state, my qualification and what I do for a living. I told him and immediately he stood up and told me he will never allow his daughter to marry an HND holder.
He said he can't send his daughter to a university & end up marry an HND holder. Never!!! Though my gal is not in support of that, even ever since that time till now she's not her self in that house. I truly love her and I know she truly love me too. But her parents is the major concern. Should I call it quit?
Please your advise is needed, what should I do?
My wife graduated from Madonna University and she did her Master in the UK while I graduated From ATBU without a master degree and we are happy together. Note! Not all fathers are in a good mental state. If the man is normal, he should know that men are very difficult to get this day. Most of the young successful men in Nigeria prefer to go with baby mama.
I will advice you keep the fire burning, don't give up easily because the man might be testing you. Study your girl's attitude, check if there is any change in her communication... It might be a planned work between she and her family...a technical way to tell you good bye. I knew a friend that experience the same issue.
About a thousand mourners and sympathisers flouted Angolan president João Lourenço’s directive banning large gatherings – as a measure to curtail the spread of coronavirus – to pay their last respects to Francisco Tchikuteny Sabalo, the man who fathered 281 children from 47 wives at Mungongo Island in Angola on April 19.
According to the Voice of America (VOA), Sabalo, who was also known as Pai Grande, or Big Dad, was a popular polygamist. However, 125 of the children predeceased him, leaving him with 156 surviving children and 250 grandchildren.
Pai Grande, who died at the age of 73 after battling prostate cancer for over a year, was initially taken to the country’s capital city of Luanda as well as other places for treatment, but was returned home when his condition worsened to ensure that “if God called him, at least he would die beside the children and their mothers,” one of his sons said.
A dedicated family man and respected personality in his community, Pai Grande was described as “a complete human being” who was an advocate for education. Speaking to VOA in 2015, Sabalo, who said it was his wish for some of his children to take up careers in science and technology, revealed he spent over $1,500 on school supplies annually.
Three of his daughters currently are studying medical sciences and two sons are learning computer science, all at the high school level.
Tributes from other family and community members also poured in during the funeral, with his first wife vowing to do everything she can to keep the family together as per her husband’s wish.
“I will do anything to keep his children fed and OK,” she told VOA.
Pai Grande’s family live on subsistence farming, growing crops and rearing livestock. They also generate revenue from their sales.
He was “a complete human being” who prized family and championed education, one speaker said during the service, held beneath sun-screening canopies on arid Giraul do Meio, known locally as Mungongo Island, near the southern port city of Namibe.
Lanrelagboi: Power Mech Staff Complain Of Being Forced To Work Despite Lockdown
Staff of Power Mech company working on the Dangote Refinery have complained to the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Damodardas Modi of the actions of their employers. They claim that they are being made to work through the Coronavirus pandemic and even threatened with violence.
The workers in a video with their leader speaking said every other company is observing the lockdown as announced by the Federal Government of Nigeria but Power Mech has refused to obey the directive and the workers are being driven out of their rooms in what they described as slavery. They also say only Power Mech is forcing staff to work as other companies have asked their workers to stay away.
Nobleking1994: What is the essence of getting all the support when the money will still be looted.
I will rather choose a royal and patriotic dictator that will do anything to protect his country and develop his country in all aspect security, health, and education than a corrupt politician that will loot his country dry.
Neither I'm i talking of Nigeria. I'm concerned about countries that are giving Nigerians platforms to succeed in their various careers. If you are given the opportunity, can you relocate to North Korea?
There has never been a time as now when one should fully articulate the virtues of earn money online from the comfort of your home in foreign currency. Economic growth and development world over has taken a beating, workers are summarily laid off. Governments are opening up business in the face of the covid-19 threats. This is the time to move business concerns to e-commerce. I rest my case
Why are Nigerians celebrating Kim? Tell me one thing Nigerians benefit from North Korea? Why do we like to hate the finger that feeds us? Talking of COVID 19, Africa has not receive any support from NK. Nigerians are not living or working in NK. I will forever be grateful to America, UK, Spain, China, Dubai, for giving many Nigerians platforms to succeed in their countries.
Opinion: Nobody would take this kind of risk except they were being sponsored - and why would people bankroll this kind of mischief? I am glad the mole has been identified and fishedout - security agents will have to keep an eagle eye in case there are more.
Unpatriotic citizens are capable of selling their nations for a pot of soup and there is nothing as dangerous as a spy in one’s bedroom.
This fellow, if he has not done so already, is capable of giving highly classified military intelligence reports to Boko Haram. I am relieved this is over.
Brother Femi! Not enemy of state rather enemy of your job.
It's very easy to identify depressed people this days. I understand your situation. I believe God will heal you soon. I will also consult my family doctor to recommend a depression drug for you...never mind i will pay and send it to you as soon as i get it. Love u.
