But I think u shud still go without telling her, so as to ascertain some things and trust ladies, if she has another person or guys, they will also be around, then, her actions/behaviour will tell you what is actually happening.

I trust nigerian police, they can make a man confess to a crime he didn't commit, I find this really weird and hard to believe

I won't even think of the first option, what if the"unknown donor" has some deadly inheritable disease in his family lineage, maybe madness after 40 years or something like that
As per the 2nd option, mba, what if the so called old acquaintance now wake up one morning and begin to claim the child or what if the child now looks like him so much, or are we going to pay him to forget his baby forever?
the third option, I think, I can only do that if it were to be a movie, not in real life, what will I tell the child in future, as a christian, will i lie to my child from the beginning of his life till the end, no way, so i will tell my son that his uncle is his father, while is "FATHER" is just my husband, I have my pride and ego, can't do that
The only option I can actually think of is the 4th one, if we are really financially okay, we can relocate and later after a year, come back to our  base.
Or better still, we can decide not to come back again.

But to be frank, advices are easier given than taken,May God in his infinite mercy lookdown upon the couple and make their joy full, that is my prayer,

Hi house, I will like to seek the opinion of matured and responsible nairalanders. A very close friend of mine, broke up with her fiance yesterday. Though, for almost 2 weeks, she's been avoiding the guy's call, but yesterday, she decided to visit him and tell her she is no longer interested. Before you crucify her, lemme tell u the reasons she gave.
First, she attends redeem church while the man was brought up in deeper life, hence they have so many differences in terms of belief. They've been dating for more than six months and already , the parent of the man knows her. The man, due to his religious background gave some rules. He told her that, if they eventually gets married, the lady will no longer be wearing trousers, no mini skirt, no make-up, not even powder, no jewelries. I asked why she accepted the conditions in the first place, but her reason was, she felt , if she can be able to convince the man, based on her behaviour, her care, her faithfulness, her committment and so on, perhaps, the man would overlook those things and allow her do those things moderately. But really, recently, they had a major discussion, and the man assured my friend that, no matter what, those rules are laws, that his wife must adhere to. She thought about this issue for so many days and finally decided to break up with him because she said she can't stop those things, she says she feel comfortable doing those things . My friend is not the flashy type and not the kind of ladies that wear low waist trousers or tiny hand tops, she is a decent girl to the core, I can attest to that.
She broke up with her fiance yesterday and to my greatest surprise, today, on the front page of my facebook profile is the status of my friend's fiance, he changed his relationship status to 'single' from 'in a relationship' and also changed what he is looking for,I said to myself, not so fast!
I just wanna ask house, was my friend wrong to have expressed her feelings to the man rather than pretend to accept those things, and why would the man change his status immediately, in less than 24 hours?

As juicy as it sounds, how much is it?

I use jergens shower cream for my bath, can't notice any difference on my body, don't believe it works, just stories,
my sister uses the cream, she has to stop it cos despite the fact that it is expensive, it does not produce any visible difference

I am a typical yoruba lady to the core, education or no education, civilisation or not, I still accept some traditions, I was brought up in that way, greeting my parents or siblings, u have to kneel or almost about getting to the floor, its a sign of respect which I wont allow education to STEAL from me.

Whenever I offend my fiance, i kneel for him, afterall, he is old enough to be my older brother, though we hardly end up in such fights that may warrant that, and to crown it up, my fiance has knelt for me before, if my husband wants me to kneel for him whenever he wants, so be it, as long as he is my husband

My girlfriend has been complaining to me, over time, that she is not really happy with her relationship, she has been enduring the relationship out of sympathy and because so many people already see them as lovers.
But now, for as many times as we talk, she usually tells me she is really tired of the relationship, she would ask herself why she is stil in the relationship, she cries in her closet at times cause of the relationship, now she wants to quit.

Despite the fact that am in the office, I can't help it, as I read through this story, tears begin to rrun down my eyes, really, really pathetic

I wonder why some idiots can't read a post and ignore it when they do not have any meaningful comment to make, is it compulsory u write, if u are annoyed because a 33year old guy still finds her attractive at 38, then , u can go and jump into the ocean, and let's see the remaining sensible people on nairaland. Many of the guys that come here to make useless and meaningless comments on nairaland, many of them, I repeat , many of them, are either jobless, involved in yahoo yahoo, or even have their sisters who are 42 and yet not married, yet, stupidly they come to nairaland, and write as if they have the best life,
My advise to the stupid ones is to get a real life , and know it is better to keep quite than to say meaningless things.

@bollyfolly, my candid advice is this, search deep inside yourself, do u really love this man, and can you love him and respect him, despite the age difference, many ladies that are married to older men find it a little difficult to respect their husbands because they believe they are already one, so ask urself and be sincere, are u sure it wont affect some decisions,  and be sure the maan in question can actually live with that, make sure you have a solid discussion on that.

To add to this, Mariah Carey says that the 11-year age gap between herself and new husband Nick Cannon isnt a big deal.
I also know of a close aunty who is older than her husband and you can never know, so what's the problem, its a personal thing, nobody can make that single decision for you, the decision is SOLELY YOURS, PRAY AND ASK FOR GOD'S GUIDANCE

In my own opinion, the best thing to do will be to sit her down, and tell her you are in a serious relationship which you are not ready to loose for anything in the world, besides, u will actually prefer you guys to be best of friends but not as lovers, be plain with her, and remember to tell her that, the feelings you have for her is purely a platonic one, u while the feelings u have towards ur lady is FOR MARRIAGE, ladies at times can be frustrating when it comes to emotion, u just have to tell her the truth and hit the nail right on the head, itmay sound harsh, but she will understand who u are
