santino09:Agbede in which state please? BTW We have many uniformed men. There is road safety, civil defence, immigration, peace corps, etc. So be specific next time. |
IVORY2009:He never said he has been convicted. He only gave you a caveat, so that when his case resumes, you won't scream witchhunt. Which you are already insinuating sef. |
Why are they subjecting this lady to this public show now? haba, media people, please show some decorum. |
Suprnov3r:You are right. It doesn't show that he's smarter than everyone else, but it did show that he is a smart individual and not dull. Which is actually my point! It is only intelligent people that sees opportunity and also able to tap into it. |
QueenColeen:NHIS GET NEW ACTING CEO President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has appointed Mr. Olufemi Akingbade as the Acting Executive Secretary/CEO of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) with effect from Monday, April 27, 2015. http://nhis.gov.ng/NHIS%20gets%20new%20acting%20CEO/ The person Buhari sacked before appointing Oni Yetunde in Acting capacity was also a southerner. President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the re-appointment of our son, Dr Paul Orhii as the Director-Genera l of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control with effect from Jan. 13, 2014. http://scannewsnigeria.com/featured-post/president-goodluck-jonathan-re-appoints-paul-orhii-as-dg-of-nafdac/ (Kindly note the bigotry inherent in the use of our "son" by the writer. ) President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has renewed the appointment of the Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR), Professor Innocent Ujah after his first tenure of four years. http://newtelegraphonline.com/fg-re-appoints-ujah-as-nimr-dg/ |
Smileprince:You don't know them? They will turn a blind eye to this one but will be criticising the one that does not appeal to them. They didn't criticise the PHC High court for entertaining a case that a court of coordinate jurisdiction has earlier given a judgment which has consequence for the reliefs being sought at the PHC court. They won't see that. It is only Justice Okon's judgment which relies on the initial Lagos Federal High court judgement they will be criticising. Justice Okon's judgment relies on the foundation of the initial Federal High Court in Lagos judgement, which is still subsisting and yet to be vacated by an apellate court. It is the Port Harcourt judgement that is an anomaly. |
IstandWitBuhari:If a someone is able to successfully make himself the President of a country of millions of intelligent folks on two different occasions, you must actually be the greatest dullard for u to think such a person is dull. Btw Those Sacked are as follows: Dr. Mohammed Ado Executive Director of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA) Femi Akingbade Acting-Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) Professor Karniyus Gamanie Director-General of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD) Yetunde Oni Acting Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Professor Innocent Ujah Director-General of the National Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) I can confirm there are three Southerners there out of 5. How come you have not deemed it fit to criticise the Southern President who made these appointments? |
Pavarottii:By?? |
Pavarottii:If he is not contesting for any office in the convention being proposed, then it infers that he is still holding on to his position as spokesperson, and therefore with the Sheriff group. I'm sure that is what they arrived at, that made them put his name. |
Businessideas:I'm telling you. Infact, the news says that as well. He is seriously bothered about that court case. You know it is the same Judge, Okon Abang that is handling the criminal case hanging over Metuh's head. Metuh does not want anything that will vex this radical Judge. ![]() The fear of Justice Okon Abang is the beginning of wisdom. No wonder Metuh has maintained a very low profile. |
A former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Olisa Metuh, has dissociated himself from a court action instituted by a factional National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ali Modu Sheriff, and others seeking to stop the party from going ahead with the August 17 national convention.http://punchng.com/im-not-pdp-convention-says-metuh-2/

Which kind news without source is this? Anyways, i'm happy for every battle won against boko haram. |
It is this useless Multinationals that encourages militancy. Why promise when you know you won't redeem the promise?? You promised a community pipe borne water and electrification. And even signed a memorandum of understanding to that effect, but now after they gave you the peace of mind to complete your project, you are forming smart and gangster. The House of Reps needs to seriously hammer Shell for this. I'm very sure if the community youths have started destroying things and disrupting Shell's activities, they would have fulfilled their end of the agreement. As a country, we must try as much as possible to pass the message to the youths that it is not only violence that brings the desired results and attention (most especially Niger Delta youths). |

Sheriff aint giving up anytime soon ![]() PDP don buy market with this Sheriff ![]() |
A Federal High Court in Abuja has said that the Sen. Ahmed Makarfi-led Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party is illegal. Justice Okon Abang said this in preliminary ruling in an application filed the Ali Modu Sheriff-faction of party. The Sheriff faction of the party had filed an application on July 4 for an interlocutory injunction seeking to stop the national convention of the party, which was planned by the Makarfi faction and scheduled for August 17. The faction said it filed the suit numbered FHC/ABJ/CS/464/2016 for themselves and on behalf of the Executive Committee/National Working Committee of the PDP. The suit has only the Independent National Electoral Commission and the PDP as the defendants. The plaintiffs had contended that that by virtue of the PDP’s Constitution, they must remain in office till 2018. They also urged the court to declare all moves aimed at removing, replacing or conducting fresh elections into their offices as illegal, unlawful, unconstitutional, null and void. http://punchng.com/breaking-court-stops-pdp-national-convention/ Lalasticlala, Mynd44, OAM4J this is steaming hot! |
fiizznation:Not necessarily by a military man. |
mrvitalis:God bless you real good for this comment. The extent of damage parasite of hate has done to some people's brain is unimaginable. Anytime they talk about oil exploration in the North, they will just start bad mouthing the efforts as if there is no local consumption of oil products over there. As you have said, if the quantity discovered is just enough to meet local consumption, it will go a long way in economically developing that area. An opportunity to export petroleum products to surrounding African countries also abound in this regard. |
cktheluckyman:Won in court?? Can u share a link to the news about this court victory pls. |
chachanga:God bless you! I don't understand again oh. Too many frustrated dullards on this forum. A PhD study is a minimum of 3 years. Someone has already done 2 years before being called up to serve as a minister, and these haters expect him to abandon his studies. I don't understand what is happening to people's thinking faculty at all. They should give this guy accolades for successfully completing this study, to the benefit of himself and the country. Imagine, some people were even using derogatory statements like "look at his head, look at his belly". Do they think PhD study is beans? Make God really help these frustrated folks oh. |
I like this man, he gat no chills. ![]() |
Caseless:Is Akpabio not a first timer legislator? This man though a first timer Senator is vastly experienced in legislative matters having hitherto served as Speaker of Imo state House of Assembly. So he is even more experienced than Akpabio who is presently a principal officer. |
seunmsg:Thank you! Too many illiterates on this forum. |
mazichika:Wetin concern APC. Na APC file the case for court?? Was APC a party to the case? Nigerian politicians are generally greedy and desperate irrespective of political/tribal affiliations. Let everyone go and pursue their case in court abeg. At least APC at the Federal that control the police has not shown any obvious bias to both sides. This Ikpeazu himself outsmarted some other person. Nigerian politics na. Dog eat dog. |
muri4mig:You are so correct. No more free cash. ![]() Punch once tried this, despite their followership, it still didn't result into success and they had to jettison the idea. |
I like this woman. She wants to set the records straight. But I wonder if the case will ever go anywhere due to Fayose's immunity. Wailers would soon have something to say. They dared the beautiful woman to go to the US, and were at the time mocking and laughing at her that "she dares not". When it became obvious she will be going to the US they changed the tune. Even now that she has filed a case in court to set the records straight, i'm sure they'll still have something unintelligent to say. |
I like that Dude. Only God knows what GEJ promised him that made him make that error. |

Never knew Vanguard is as cheap as that. |
aresa:Bros why are you being harsh on me now?? I'm not a Fayose supporter, but funny enough, when i saw the advert in today's paper, I just started laughing. The man na real trouble maker. |
mazichika:Sincerely, with the energy being put in place to show that the Statement is forged.... I wont be surprised if it is the people that are vehemently saying the statement is forged, are the people that actually forged the statement to discredit the EFCC. EFCC will never go to the extent of forging a bank statement. It is highly ludicrous! |

A programme which was not contracted with National funds but will still invaluably benefit our cause when rightly deployed? I tire o!
