This same trashy website reported that WASC Cambridge did not offer Hausa as a subject in 1961. This later turned out to be false as Cambridge itself made a statement that they indeed offered Hausa in 1961. Here is the news how this PDP propaganda LIVE NEWS Nigeria reported it then. http://www.livenewsng.com/2015/01/buhari-busted-waeccambridge-did-not.html
Buhari Busted! WAEC/Cambridge Did not Offer Hausa as Subject in 1961

The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), who yesterday, had his statement of result released by his secondary school in Katsina has been busted by a new revelation. This revelation, which has come less than 24 hours later, shows the said result is fake. Amongst others is the damning revelation that Hausa was not offered as a subject in WASC until after 1974.
Yoruba was the only Nigerian language that was offered as a course in 1961. Live News investigation obtained a document showing the curriculum of Nigerian secondary education as far back as 1842.
This evidence shows that the released statement of result is fake and a bad forgery gone wrong. This is a whole new dimension to the BuhariGate certificate scandal. The APC have been projecting Buhari as a man of incorruptible character but the BuhariGate scandal has really cast a lot of mud in that campaign.
Our investigation also revealed several inconsistencies in the released statement of result including, a controversial photograph, a wrong name, absense of the pricipal's name, inconsistencies in the graphic indicating an overlap from photocopy and many others
We will be bringing you updates as the saga unfolds

Balkan: I am worried that for the past 3weeks I have been trying to collect my PVC but to no avail. So many disappointment. I see Yorubas walking in and collecting the PVC with ease.
I have decided not to give up. The funny thing is that those hiding the PCV do not know who I may be voting for.
INEC please allow those who do not have the PVC to use the temporary one for equity and fairness. Are you saying 100% of Yorubas going there have been able to get theirs? |

Allwility: @agabusta The Labour, Safety, Health and Welfare bill will promote occupational health and safety in Nigeria. It's long been overdue. One wonders why the president hasn't signed the bill since it was passed in 2012. I'm thrilled by the bill because it touched areas the Factory Act didn't cover. However, I still feel enforcement will be a major problem because of corruption in the system. You are right. Enforcement is a very important part of regulating. But no matter the corruption in the system, they will still be able to get the companies to show some consideration for safety as against what obtains now. |

Olusegun Obasanjo, Former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has again cleared the air on his stand concerning the forthcoming presidential elections, as well as the candidate he will support.
At the launch of his new book ‘My Watch’ in the United Kingdom, Obasanjo responded to questions on reports that he had endorsed the presidential candidate of the APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, maintaining that his wish is to see Nigeria headed by a strong president.
“Well, whatever you get in the paper and in the press, please yourself, he said, referring to guests at the event who wanted to confirm the reported endorsement.
He added that “”What I said and I maintain that and I will say it again and I will do it. When the time comes for me to vote, I will consider the track record of all the candidates that are contesting and I will assess and based on my assessment for who I believe have the best track record to perform the job of the Nigerian president, then he will have my vote and if anybody should know what the job of the Nigerian president requires, I should know.”
He further noted that “Nigeria has a population of 180 million and you wouldn’t have anybody other than one person or two persons that can run the affairs of Nigeria? What the hell are we talking about?
“For me there are millions who can run the affairs of Nigeria who are not even coming out. So why should you die on behalf of one who is probably performing as a mediocre. With all due respect.
“Nigeria, if you love it, you would look for the best for Nigeria and I don’t believe that at this point in time we have the best for Nigeria,” he said.

He said he is still making assesment of the two candidates and will make his position known after conviction on who between Buhari and Jonathan will perfom better.

Instead of you to quote the figures, you are hammering on the percentages to whip up sentiments. It is obvious why there is low pick up in Lag and some other states. Lag population is mainly corporate, and most of these people dont have the time to go pick up their PVC. Lagos state govt has done its part by declaring holidays for their workers to pick up theirs. What has the Fed Govt done to encourage pick up? have they declared public holiday? If the FGN declares only 2 days, say Thur and Fri, and they also mandate INEC to work on the following Sat and Sun, there will be significant PVC pick up in the southern states. Instead of calling INEC a bad name just to ease out the fair and balanced JEGA, why not cry to the FGN to do the right thing? |

Abeg, let him quit the stage for Buhari. Buhari has taken heat before on the battle ground, has taken heat from when he was booted out, has taken serious heat from his political travails and has taken even more serious heat from political propaganda meant to pull him down. Even at that, the man is still surging ahead. Showing the whole world that indeed he has that discipline that can only be gotten from the military. Because when the military guys are on the offensive... they must keep moving, no matter the heat. Victory must be achieved. This time around, the circumstances are different. GMB's battle is against corruption. When you try to fight corruption, corruption will definitely fight back. That is the simple reason GEJ cannot fight corruption. He does not have the discipline, the courage and the political will. Even before the heat started, my guy don stand down, negotiate surrender terms chaply. Lol The campaign of calumny against GMB are actively propagated by corrupt elements supported by some few bigots. GMB has experienced the heat before and is still forging ahead until victory is ascertained. Nigerians, the choice is in our hands. #I have decided to join GMB's paratroopers in getting the country free of corruption. Still searching how Chimamanda and Jonathan are related by tribe. I didn't say that. I simply appreciated her for speaking the truth irrespective of tribal affiliation. Something a lot of people find so so difficult to do. It is the same way I will appreciate a Northerner that comes out to speak against Buhari if he messes up as a president. We need people with such mentality, whose opinions are not swayed by if the person in question is from the part of the country they hail from. Of course a lot of people supporting GEJ have demonstrated the character typical of bigots! How else do you describe a person that comes out to say there will be war if Jonathan is not returned as president. Or a host of others that keep saying Jonathan MUST be returned as president. It doesn't make any sense. We are practicing a democracy, the person that satisfies the requirements of the constitution by having majority votes and clinching 25% of the votes in 2/3rd states will be declared winner. There is nothing any low-lifer can do about that. simple What everybody is supposed to be doing is to be preaching a free and fair elections and ensuring same happen. |

This "hosts" nonsense is so condescending and annoying. Sorry if my choice of words annoyed you. But its a general term used in Nigeria for non-indigenes resident in another area. If I decide to relocate to the East, maybe to Mbaise, I will regard the Mbaise community as my host even if I work, earn and take care of my family myself. See it is in the interest of everybody if there is peace. Development and even earning a living only happens in an atmosphere of peace. That is why I am advising we join hands together and condemn those inciting hate and beef. There are chronic tribalists on both sides and it will do us a lot of good to condemn them with one voice. |

It has been very challenging especially after spending quite much to get the training as most of the adverts I see require experienced personnels in the oil and gas industry. I studied Mechanical Engineering and reside in PH.
Pls any advice on how to secure my first safety job would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance Try and look for a place to get internship offer. Even if it is without pay. Or just go to a place to offer your free service, either a construction site, factory, or what have you. It is quite challenging to break into the HSE field without experience. And please let everyone in the house try and create awareness and request that the President assent the Occupational, Health and Safety bill and thus passing it into law.
