Nigeria it is time to kick out cluelessness once and for all and try change. We'll be deceiving ourselves greatly if we think Jonathan will perform better than what we have seen in the last 5 years. He just doesn't give a damn. It's only this election time that he made moves to give a damn. It is d elections that are spurning him into pseudo-action. Immediately the elections are over, he'll go back into hibernation and leave us again in the hands of his rapacious she-wolfs. |
This seems like a coc.k and bull story jor. |
This is highly commendable. If Nigerians are ready for change, if they are ready for leaders who will judiciously utilise the resources of Nigeria and stand out as an example in accountability, integrity, honesty, and hardwork. Buhari/Osinbajo is the answer. I seriously fear for Nigeria if we lose this opportunity. Then, our journey to greatness will be much longer, as impunity and political jobbing will be the enshrined system in our polity. GMB/PYO is the right answer! |
barcanista:Chai, what a pathetic fall? So you have joined the bandwagon of those advocating for the use of TVC? Dont you know that is a recipe for confusion? Are you not aware that a lot of people deliberately did not submit their TVC to INEC in exchange for the PVC but claimed it got lost? INEC then made a provision for them just to fill a form and attach a passport. |
hope this is authentic? |
temitemi1:And the robot arrives ![]() |
Controlled:That is the most embarrassing part of it, how can someone use such an attention seeker in a sensitive position like that? Infact, his face is becoming irritating to a lot of people. Whenever he comes on air, people will just start hissing and abusing him. |
vjsmiles:Seriously? Are you telling me you actually see such a shameless talkative as a value? He is more of a liability. |
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said contrary to the information being peddled by the Spokesman of the Jonathan Campaign Organization, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, the party does not wish him any ill health, even though it is seriously concerned about his mental state. ”No, we have never and will never wish anyone any ill health. However, we are seriously concerned that Mr. Fani-Kayode may have unhinged, perhaps as a result of a relapse into an unhealthy lifestyle of substance abuse,” the party said in a statement issued in Dubai on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. ”Our concern stems from the series of incoherent statements, outlandish claims and inconsistent behaviours exhibited by Mr. Fani-Kayode in recent times, which call into question his state of mental health. ”We wish Mr. Fani-Kayode well and call on him to tell Nigerians that he remains clean, despite the massive pressure of work, and that he will not do anything that will see him needing a prolonged reformation in a foreign land,” it said. APC said it is only an unstable mind and someone who is teetering on the brink that will conjure up the kind of improbable scenarios that have been put out there in quick succession by Mr. Fani-Kayode, and still believe strongly that he is doing the right thing. The party said the APC does not harbour the kind of disturbed personalities who abound in the PDP, and who will not hesitate to publicly wish fellow Nigerians ill or dead, as long as they believe such ill-will would endear them to their masters and guarantee their political survival. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/03/apc-to-fani-kayode-we-wish-you-well-but/ Chai, Lai Mohammed wicked oh. See finishing... |
temitemi1:So u get sense like this? Has your software been re-programmed? |
You guys should keep deceiving yourselves. For your information, APC is re-strategising for the final onslaught against the PDP. It appears they have lost steam only to those who don't know the principles of warfare. You guys better not give yourselves high BP by the time they come back and their campaigns goes round the country again on full throttle giving hope to the hopeless, and putting smiles on the faces of Nigerians who has forgotten how to smile due to the maladministration of the PDP. |
Ammy200:Really? A number of blogs reported her as his Mum some months back and no disclaimer ensued. |
fx45:If Yorubas are in the east, no big deal with that. Infact, I will encourage them to integrate more wt others sef. There is so much to gain from peaceful coexistence and mutual respect. For the sake of millions of your people that are hardworking and persevere towards success, I won't issue out insults. I will leave you to wallow in your ignorance and hate till you see the light. |
fx45:Liar! See his dirty utterances. You guys are all over. Even in the remotest towns. They are hardworking anyway and do their business without issues. It's only silly and bigoted ones like you on nairaland that I have issue with. |
PDP and it's online goons has totally gone mad. They have no iota of respect for anybody at all in their propanganda schemes. That picture seems to be taken from one of Prof Osinbajo's interaction with some village folks. Or it can either be an outright photoshop sef. Shameless PDP animals did some modifications to the pix to make the man look like our incoming Vice President, the erudite and sagacious Professor Yemi Osinbajo. Attached here is a pix of PYO's well educated and healthy looking swaggalicious mother. Her nice garden, lovely pets and modest but very clean home can be seen in the background. This must be a very good mother, as I just found myself smiling at her.

sincerenigerian:Two of your pictures below are from Lagos event, not Ibadan. I was physically present there today. It was a youth interactive session with Prof Osinbajo, it held at one event centre in Abule Onigbagbo area of Ikeja, close to that Etiebet's house on Mobalaji Bank Anthony way. It was a very wonderful event. The Prof spoke brilliantly and i'm more convinced that he and his Oga, the people's General are indeed the change agents they claim they are. If he was still in Ibadan for another event in the evening, then this man must be really strong. I left the place around 5:30pm, drove home and did a sound sleep. That is the reason i'm even awake now and chilling with nairaland.

Wow, wonderful! A big congratulations to the APC and Nigeria at large. Thank u APC for giving Nigeria an alternative platform to choose from. Your opposing views to national issues has made the ruling party and the present clueless govt to try and be more 'clueful', albeit too late. |
Ikengawo:And most part of the enclave u came from looks like Chicago right? I then wonder why your people go to the SW in droves, going home only in the Dec of the year they make profits. |

Continue abusing the man while he keeps warming his way into the hearts of the people. Village to village, town to town, city to city. PDP and it's online goons has totally gone mad. From the foregoing it is obvious that the PDP has no love for Nigeria. They are only selfishly protecting their personal ambitions. Their online supporters also regularly make this known in their silly posts. Elections were postponed for 6 weeks and PDP supporters are happy that this will mean lesser campaign funds to the opposition. How silly can they be. Even at the heat of the earlier campaigns, PDP was spending virtually X10 of what the APC was spending. And it may continue like that till the elections but the facts are on ground already, APC has successfully communicated it's plans and voice to every nook and cranny of the country. They are currently in London to re-strategise far beyond the listening capability of the PDP. Even at that, Osinbajo is still actively involved in grassroots mobilisations. OP you will be taken aback by the momentum their campaigns will pick up again after they come back. It is very obvious APC has the best brains, the PDP will soon realise the error of this postponement when the APC launches another successful round of campaigns which will consolidate their earlier campaigns. Has any one noticed that APC has maintained it's slogan for this election- change! While the PDP seems to be confused on what to stick with-transformation agenda, going forwards, real change (dem still wan steal APC own sef, lol). PDP thinks Nigerians are fools. They waited till election time before taking a decisive action against BH and they think this their evil act will make them win votes in the NE. They are in for a shocker. I see them spending their election chest out and dipping their dirty fingers into the treasury, but they will still meet their waterloo in March as the APC will win nothing less than 18 states in the NW, NE and NC: Kano Jigawa Sokoto Zamfara Kebbi Kaduna Katsina Bauchi Gombe Bornu Yobe Adamawa Taraba Nasarawa Niger Kwara Kogi Abuja In the Southwest the APC will claim nothing less than 5 states: Lagos (tight but APC presidential win certain) Oyo Ogun Osun Ondo From the above, APC will clearly win 22 states and gets its constitutional 25% in the following states: Plateau Benue Ekiti Edo Rivers (this adding up with their win states will constitutionally give them victory at the polls) The presidential election result cannot be far from the above if no mago-mago takes place, and despite the billions spent by the PDP on ridiculous propaganda, settling different civil groups and traditional leaders, hiring hundreds of internet propagandists APC will still be declared as the winner of the election. ![]() I painfully took time off from my Sat relaxation to be physically present at Prof Osinbajo's town hall meeting with youths in Ikeja, Lagos. He performed brilliantly, I was absolutely impressed. Change indeed is coming! I can feel it, a better Nigeria is coming! #Ihavedecided |
Chai, FFK do suffer. I so much like the pragmatic and superfluous way Lai Mohammed usually dismantles the PDP propaganda structure and utterances. Seun we need this on front page. In as much as FFK's irresponsible utterances graced the front page, the reply by APC denouncing his claims is also worth given adequate exposure. |
aminashy:All these PDP robots never even allow me post finish. Na waah oh. So na u dey for night shift today ba? Hope your coffee allowance is getting to sha? And has not been embezzled by that smooth mouth FFK? While u continue monitoring the whole cyberspace and spilling trash to demonise the opposition, I hope u are aware there are degrees, professional courses and business u can do online? You better make use of this free PDP internet to better your life now because either they lose or win, you will definitely be out of job until another election season. Ironically, it is even in your interest they lose sha, cos the incoming govt will perform better and stimulate the economy to generate actual employment for your likes. |
78.93% of PVCs collected – INEC The independent National Electoral Commission has put the percentage of Permanent Voter Cards collected at 78.93 per cent. This was contained in the report released by the commission in Abuja on Friday. The figure was based on the report got by the commission from the field as of Friday. While it put the number of registered voters at 68,833,476, it added that it had also delivered 67,206, 600 PVCs across the country. However, the commission said that only 54,327,747 PVCs, which represent 78.93 per cent of the cards, had been collected. Jigawa, Gombe and Akwa Ibom States top the list of states with highest PVCs collection. While Jigawa State, which is from the North-West has a total of 1,831,276 registered voters, 1,794,646 of them had picked up their PVCs. This figure represents 98 per cent of PVCs collected in the state. Gombe State with 1,120,023 registered voters, has recorded the collection of 1,064,577 PVCs which amounts to 95 per cent of the total PVCs for the state. Akwa Ibom State came third with 94.46 per cent PVC collection out of its 1,680,759 registered voters. This means that 1,587,566 voters had picked their PVCs. Leading from the rear is Ogun State where only 808,590 out of the 1,829,534 registered voters had collected their PVCs. This figure represents a mere 44.20 per cent. However, the figure released by the commission indicated that 1,387,401 PVCs had been delivered to the state. In the Federal Capital Territory, only 62 per cent of the 881,472 registered voters had collected their own PVCs. Lagos State with 5,822,207 registered voters had recorded 63.44 per cent PVC collection. This shows that 3,693,355 of the cards had been collected by their owners. But the commission said that 5,558,062 cards had been delivered for voters in the state. Meanwhile, the commission had also explained the use of Card Readers for the elections. It said that for the first time in Nigeria’s electoral history, electronic voter authentication system, with the aid of smart card readers, is being deployed for the 2015 general elections. In an explanatory note, the commission said that Card Readers had enormous advantages, which it said include: “Once configured, the Card Reader can only read PVCs issued by INEC,” adding that any person that showed up at the polling unit without a PVC or with a card not issued by INEC would not be able to vote. The commission added that the “Card Reader reads the embedded chip on the PVC, not the barcode, and it shares a secret code with the PVC; thus it is impossible to falsify the cards. “The Card Reader authenticates the identity of the voter by cross-matching his/her fingerprints with that stored on the embedded chip. No person can vote using another person’s PVC. “The Card reader keeps a tally of all cards read, comprising the details of all voters verified as well as those not verified, and transmits the collected information to a central INEC server via GSM data service.” Copyright PUNCH. http://www.punchng.com/news/78-93-of-pvcs-collected-inec-2/ INEC pls ensure u deliver the remaining cards within the next two weeks. We don't want any excuse for the March 28th date. Also, we expect to have at least 85% PVC collection for the elections. So pls improve on your strategy to convince eligible voters to come pick up their cards. Jega and his team are trying, let us encourage them and also give them this stern warning that we want a free and fair elections! On one man one vote we stand. PS #Ihavedecided. ![]() |
Noviolence2015:Why dont you first watch the show before coming here to yarn trash. He didnt bring that into his presentation. He was asked the question during the Q and A session and he answered it. |
Nice one, will try and make it. When I entered www.buhariosinbajo2015.com to register, it reverted me to: http://form.myjotform.com/form/50477717513559 |
ozoigbondu:And you think you are smart, excluding the mofos shouting Jona till 2019. ![]() You are just a bloody hypocrite. |
NOI if you have nothing to hide, submit the report pls. The house of rep is representing the Nigerian people, even if u can't release the report to the whole country, it is imperative that the House of Rep and Senate, that re responsible for ensuring accountability of the Executive gets a chance to properly analyse the audit report of a parastaltal under their purview. |
Ikengawo or whatever you call yourself, why not face your politicking for GEJ squarely and stop opening silly threads that will make people to be talking anyhow about your tribe? Is it that you only find joy and happiness in tribal issues? If one studies Nairaland political section, one will see that tribalism is on a gradual descent with pure political issues taking central stage i.e. APC vs PDP. But chronic tribalists like the OP is so much psyched up about the 'Us vs Them' that he does not even want that. All he wants is tribal acrimony. What all these trashy threads does is to foster tribal acrimony. There is no way you won't expose your tribe to bashing on such a thread and other tribes will get bashed in return. So in essence, you are just an evil entity seeking to sustain the hate tempo by creating this type of thread. |
tete7000:Negotiating debt relief and managing the economy are two different things. I'm sure it was the good way she negotiated the debt relief that made Obasanjo conclude that she will perform better in Foreign affairs ministry. Go and read Soludo’s letter. He categorically stated there that she spent the major part of her career in Admin and operations at the world bank. She is yet to disprove that till today. You guys should stop overhyping this woman, her economics has been making life harder for the needy. The growth she is always claiming is not reflective in everyday life for years now. |
berem:One need to confirm if that account is authentic before either arguing for or against what was stated. The PDP now engages in serious advance propaganda. They will release a wrong news claiming it emanated from the opposition, they will now thereafter come out to disprove it, and portraying themselves as the lie busting hero. |
