YOU ARE THE IMMORAL ONE HERE.IS THERE ANYTHING IN THAT REPORT TO INDICATE PD PLEGISLATORS WERE INVOLVED? WAS ANY PDP LEGISLATOR MENTIONED OR INTERVIWED?

WHAT EVEN MAKES YOU APC SUPPORTERS EVEN THINK THAT YOU HAVE A MORAL HIGH STANDING? YOUR GODFATHER TINUBU IS ONE OF THE MOST CORRUPT PEOPLE THIS COUNYRY HAS EVER SEEN.YOUR PARTY REEKS OF CORRUPTION AND RELIGIOUS FANATICISM.PLEASE PUT YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER BEFORE GOING ELSEWHERE TO CRITICIZE
Then the best thing is to disregard the report, not twisting the headline of another man's report. And what in the report stated that they are APC representatives?? The writer was smart enough to know that it cuts across party affiliations and puts the appropriate headline.

Youths yesterday destroyed posters of President Goodluck Jonathan at the Emir of Gwandu’s palace and along roads in the town, 30 minutes after the president’s departure from the palace of the Emir, Alhaji Iliyasu Bashir.
The posters were pasted midnight on roundabouts and roads leading to the airport after several attempts to paste them failed Monday because of strong resistance and threats from youths.
Before going into a closed door meeting with the Gwandu emir, the Emir of Zuru retired Maj-Gen Muhammadu Sani Sami and the Sarkin Kabin Argungu Alh Samaila Mera, Jonathan said the federal government would extend a rail line to Birnin Kebbi and rehabilitate the Birnin Kebbi/Yauri/Kontagora/Minna roads.READ MORE.

Extend railway? Hahaha, he should extend equality, justice and fairness first. Political rally whil the country is under siege. People are dying daily due to his incompetence. He should go to havard after he would av lost the 2015 election to take a course in Leadership. Making mockery of the seat of the president as if He's a local government chairman. i'm out!!!
Every thing about Jona is always in future tense! FG will, would.....etc.

As a siting President contesting for a second term, you are supposed to tell each place you visit WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ACHIEVE FOR THEM, before promising what you intend to do for them again!

But in his case, a siting president campaigning is still going about with promises, he does not have concrete achievements to point to. Sad I must say.

And it is the same scenario everywhere he goes.

obiagelli please can you state who m,ade this statement? if you can provide proof that PDP legislators are involved in the useless impeachment lot,the headline would be modified. When we say proofs we dont mean conjectures or anonymous interviews
Bros that action was highly immoral and unethical. Why are we like this in this country? Why do we like supporting something wrong just because it suits a course we support? If you want to write a report yourself, do that and put your name. But when Vanguard writes a report and gives it an headline; intentionally twisting the headline to suit a particular selfish purpose is an absurdity of the highest order that can only be supported by people with twisted minds.

It is people like you that encourage our leaders to behave in a lawless and immoral way that nothing will happen.

It is time we speak with one voice and caution the impunity of Jonathan now. He cannot trample on the National Assembly. He is rubbishing our institutions. Imagine, some nonsense police officers locking elected legislators from accessing the National Assembly?

If our elected officials can be treated as such without any repercussions, what is the assurance that some 'powerful politician' will not issue senseless commands to the police to mete out injustice to other people without a louder voice?

Our democracy is greater than his desperate personal ambition. I will keep saying this. This guy is turning into a despot gradually & it is sad that some bigoted people are not noticing. He is obviously power drunk, forgetting that power is transient. Where is IBB, Obasanjo, Abubakar, Yaradua today?

Just as he did in 2011 election, Gen Buhari is not wooing APC delegates. Buhari snubbed campaign in most southern states during the 2011 election campaign. His campaign was restricted to mainly the core northern states. And when he lost, he shouted rigging.
In the run up to the APC presidential primary election, only Atiku is going about meeting states delegates one on one. Oga Buhari is in kaduna believing the slot is his by right. He is again snubbing the states delegates. Yet when Atiku is declared winner, the same Buhari will cry foul. Atiku is all over nigeria talking and lobbying his party, APC, delegates. Gen Buhari is plotting violence if he is not declared winner.
I see what happened to him in 2011 election repeating itself.
Buhari, like the average northern elite (with their born to rule mentality) is too full of himself. His arrogance will kill him again!
I hope this hatred against this Buhari will not take you guys to your early graves. Buhari is scheduled to be in Akure, Ondo state today. He is doing his own running around. You guys should quit all this your fake concerns for the APC when in actual fact, it is only hatred and bitterness you have in your hearts for them.

Are people still discussing 2015 Presidential election that was contested for and won on 11th November, 2014 across six notable cities on planet earth?

The unfortunate thing is that the majority of Nigerians, the Military, SSS and Police are all for GEJ while vocal minority spend all time online and sometimes on the streets dramatising theatre scripts.

Having evaluated the contestants and their rhetorics and compared them with President GEJ, I see no contest rather a walkover.

Don't get yourself frustrated or embark on suicide mission for what is not in your power to change or overturn.
We didn't ask u to relate your dream to us. Share your dream to your immediate family next time pls. It's a dream that can never become reality.

And I think it's time u woke up from that your pathetic dream.

Wake up!! Majority of Nigerians do not want GEJ back. The Army, police and others you mentioned; majority of them do not want him back. He has terribly failed this nation. I gave a soldier a ride to the Island about 3 weeks ago, and he was complaining bitterly about this administration. I tilted the discussion towards the low morale of the soldiers battling BH, and I felt so sad when he went into details about the war and how many women has been rendered widows at their barracks. He said they re even no longer breaking the news to the wives. He said so many soldiers re dying and they re doing cover-ups.

He was actually very frustrated & he discussed the ongoing war against the evil BH wt me in a way I least expected of a military personnel. How they are poorly equipped, nonexistent welfarism, etc

Guy, the rank and file that makes the number in these security agencies are tired of this clueless administration. It's only their Ogas that are eating fat in the midst of the confusion tht re supporting this maladministration of GEJ.

Papa Deceiving Pickin party is about to scatter under Jona grin grin

GEJ thinks dishing out money and positions & arm twisting and stampeding any opposing view is the way to hold a party together as a leader. I laugh

With the way things are going he'll just keep on settling quarrels and dealing with defections before the general elections dawn on him.

Whenever and wherever fairplay is sacrificed, it is usually hard to achieve peace.

He should have emboldened himself and face a primary election. I believe he would still have won. But instead, he chickened out and was using the office of the president to arm-twist opposing views within his party. Even Obasanjo and sickly Yaradua faced a primary election.

But a GEJ railroaded himself in, claiming he was giving the right of first refusal, which was nonexistent in his party until his cowardly self came around.

Now his actions is hunting the party at every side. That is good news for the country anyways!

With the way all of them starting from the President to the governors to the Senators and Honourables wants to return via automatic tickets, they WILL DESTROY THE VERY FABRIC OF OUR DEMOCRACY.

Every sane and democratic mind is supposed to reject this in its entirety.
Politics › Re: The Impending Betrayal Of Muhammadu Buhari by agabusta: 6:53am On Nov 18, 2014
LogicPower:
You have described this Femi Aribisala so aptly!

All his articles in the past one year have been almost invariably an attack on Tinubu, or a fallacious and unsound analysis on why the APC stands no chance against the PDP, or a shamelessly desperate psychological attempt to put a wedge in the budding political alliance between the SW and the North, the prospects of which threaten the JEG and cohorts more than anything else.

Any discerning observer of Femi Aribisala's recent writings can easily see through his pathetic boot-licking of the GEJ government, sometime even stooping to very lowly and shameless bigotry. A few examples:

1. "The Northern politicians clamouring for power after being starved of it for 16 years are not dying to do any favours for the South-West, given the eight years of Obasanjo’s presidency. They are dying to do favours for themselves. Once a Northern president is firmly installed in Aso Rock, they are going to stop returning Tinubu’s phone-calls." Femi Aribisala http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/01/bola-tinubu-want/

Can Femi dare tell the people of the SW what favours the South-South presidency of GEJ has been doing for the SW region and its people in the past 5 years? And how has GEJ been treating phone calls, and even letters, from OBJ, his SWestern political godfather, and that of Tinubu, who was also so instrumental in his victory? Can Femi tell us why OBJ felt it necessary to write his lengthy open letter to the non-Northern president in relation to the interests of the SW region?

2. " - The APC adventure marks the end of the road politically for Tinubu. It is downhill all the way for him from now on. The very things that made Tinubu successful in the South-West are bound to shipwreck him in the APC." Femi Aribisala
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/01/bola-tinubu-want/

Clearly, this betrays Femi as one of those who are so much pained about Tinubu's political status in today's Nigeria, hence he is so openly wishful of seeing 'the end of the road' for him politically and 'downhill all the way for him from now on'. Imagine this coming from someone who wants to be seen as a 'man of God'!

3. "Nigerians should not allow themselves to be deceived. There is no doubt that on the basis of merit alone, Goodluck Jonathan deserves another term in office. Few governments of Nigeria have been as purposeful as that of Goodluck Jonathan" Femi Aribisala
http://newswirengr.com/2014/10/14/femi-aribisala-what-exactly-is-clueless-about-goodluck-jonathan-2/#

For someone to have so immorally and unconsciously praised this obscenely corrupt and callously irresponsive and irresponsible administration of GEJ in this shameless manner only last month, and still believes he can advise the APC on who is their best candidate to defeat the 'purposeful' government of GEJ in the 2015 election, is simply delusional and narcissistic!
I'm awed by your write-up.

GEJ can never win Ondo state and even Ekiti. I'm from Ondo, I can boldly tell u that. But he can get relatively good nos of votes from Ekiti due to Fayose's influence.
Politics › Re: 2015: Jonathan Schemes For S’west Votes by agabusta: 10:22am On Nov 15, 2014
Jonathan will lose the SW clearly. The only place he may have some considerable votes is in Ekiti and Lag. Ekiti because of the cult-like support & love Ekiti peeps has for Fayose (that is even if Fayose campaigns actively for him as if he was campaigning for himself) and Lag because of the population of Igbos.

Even at that, he will still not win these 2 states. He will just have considerable votes.

Mimiko cannot deliver for him in Ondo state at all! Ondo state gave Mimiko the privilege of being the only re-elected governor in the history of the state and he has messed up! Infact, the existing PDP in Ondo state will do better than mimiko for Jona sef. But unfortunately, he has embarrassed them and forced Mimiko down their throat. Majority of them are already teaming up with the APC in the state.

No matter the issue the APC is experiencing in Oyo and Ogun, APC will win these states clearly in the presidential election. Moreso, since the presidential and gubernatorial election are not taking place on the same day.

APC votes in state of Osun will give GEJ headache.

There is no hope for GEJ in the SW. The SW votes for performance and he has not performed.

SW will vote massively for these combinations:

Buhari/Oshiomole
Buhari/Rochas
Buhari/Fashola
Buhari/Amaechi

Tambuwal/Oshiomole
Tambuwal/Rochas
Tambuwal/Fahola
Tambuwal/Ameachi

SW people love human right activists and performers. They will vote massively for a ticket that has Oshiomole on it.

Here I was thinking that he wanted to give a clear and unbiased way to go above this oil price decline and once again I was proved wrong. He raised good points though but he didn't fail to bring in their usual PDP vs APC battle and blackmail. A typical example of enriching the rich which he accused pdp of is Lagos State. The govt schools are suffering, those living in the slumps are either chased out or are still suffering. He controls almost every govt investment in lagos state. The atlantic city and banana island and lekki etc are not meant for the poor. I will only hope they keep telling us how they will change the country by coming out the way he did. I like it and that's what nigerians are asking them to do but he spoilt it with his progressive and conservative speech. Why was fayemi voted out? Was it not cos he was more of an elitist governor? Anyway these are his ideas, they may be good or right they may also be bad or wrong. We shouldn't forget that the president is working with seasoned economists.
You have a point there, but that was why I put the caveat above that this is the part 1. I'm wont to believe he wants to use this part 1 to table they issue. 'MAYBE' he will proffer his solutions in the part 2.
