MikeCZAR:Bwahhahahaha ![]() Nigeria now has long range battlefield surveillance and target acquisition Video-TV-Cameras....plenty of them. Likely another first in Africa by Nigerian army ! NA will see SANDF for real, not radar lines and dots, real video images of your army far away.....Then we send artillery to cremate you ! .
|
MikeCZAR:Actually it's SAAF that cannot deploy in contested air space, F-7 jets have BVR missiles, Gripen has just over half our range. NAF kills SAAF from 35 km away with PL-9C BVR missile. We rule the air, Drones kill SANDF. CH-3 Drones have TV guidance and CANNOT be jammed . |
MikeCZAR:Cuban teenagers pose for photos with captured SADF Olifant tanks, question is, where are your soldiers that drove the tank ? SADF ran Olympic race and abandoned main battle tanks ![]() Seleka war Gecko vehicle abandonment style and Olympic foot/car race to airport did not just start yesterday o ! . |
saengine:Every good missile is resistant to counter measure, yet smoke will kill laser guidance. Fact of science ! T-72 smoke defence will block off Ingwe laser guidance and your ATGM goes blind. AR-1 range 10 km Ingwe range 5 km Yes, our ATGM drones will kill your Ratels and their Ingwe will be used to add fuel to their flames for roasting . |
patches689:Same way SANDF OLifant tanks will be wrecked by the same Tow Missile ![]() T-72 has combat experience 100 times more than Olifant or Centurion tanks. Cuban teenage boys demolished SANDF Olifant tanks and captured some for photograph display... Cry baby cry SANDF.....teenage Cuban boys jolly ride your Olifant tanks in battle ![]() "On February 14, 1988 the SADF and the UNITA begin the second heavy attack to the Cuito Cuanavale defenses, with forces sized in three SADF and six UNITA battalions, supported by more of 100 armored vehicles of various types, among them 40 Olifants Tanks. By this superiority of forces, they achieve to break the defense of the 59° Angolan Brigade. To cover this place were urgently thrown the unique 8 T-55 Cubans in movement in Cuito, by the command of the lieutenant colonel Héctor Aguilar. They stop the South African, destroying 10 Olifants. The remainder of the Olifants retires behind march." http://www.urrib2000.narod.ru/Tanques3-e.html . |
patches689:Ordinary T-72 main gun will demolish your Olifant tanks, not to even talk of Nigerian AR-1 anti-tank missiles ![]() . |
EVarn:T-72 tank has 3 types. 1st generation with ordinary steel armour.... easy to defeat with HEAT shells 2nd generation with reactive armour.....hard to defeat with HEAT shells 3rd generation with mixed armour including some composite armour....almost impossible to defeat. This version is very rare among T-72 tanks T-72 disadvantages : It lacks 3rd generation composite armour and self protection against enemy anti-tank missiles. T-72 advantages include : Powerful 125 mm main gun instead of the 105 mm weaker main gun on SANDF Olifant tanks. Speed compared to it's generation. Semi-amphibious capabilities compared to SANDF Olifant tanks. Long travel range, extra fuel. Reactive armour or ERA that most shells and some anti-tank missiles in this world cannot penetrate. T-72 tank has NEVER been defeated in war by any tank in it's own class of 2nd generation. T-72 tank demolished British made Chieftain tanks in Iran-Iraq war, and the combat record of the T-72 is excellent. The only loss in war was T-72 tanks 1st generation versions of Iraq against American 3rd generation Abrams tanks with composite armour, why not? It's 1st generation vs 3rd generation, like a MiG-21 Vs MiG-29 jet. Who will win? Newer generation for sure ! .

patches689:Nope, the sea argument is over, you lost at sea. i am now back to land to slay @saengine there too ![]() |
saengine:Ingwe missile gets defeated by T-72 smoke launch. Nigeria has new anti-tank missiles with 10 km range , that is double your Ingwe 5 km short range You just get your SANDF roasted for Easter dinner, better go fight Lesotho or Burundi.....avoid Nigeria o ! .
|
patches689:What water is on the beach, tap water or sea water ? Fool ![]() . |
andrewza:Okay, the beach is cut off from the sea and dropped inside your bath tub at home ? Fool ![]() . |
andrewza:SAN Valour frigate gunners are all incompetent.....you will always miss target....Rhino poachers shoot better than your blue water navy ![]() .
|
patches689:You say it's a very simple question.....yet you cannot answer it, you need my help.....you so dumb ? Southie dumbo ? . |
patches689:Quote me where I said a Nigerian T-72 tank....Angola has T-72 tanks in your backyard there near your house . |
patches689:Are you asking me ? Dummy....can't you google search as usual ? Sorry I wrecked your Easter day ![]() |
patches689:Nope, you wrecked yourself. I said effective range is 8 km. 16 km is area effect with ZERO precision and plenty of missing a tiny target like a tank. Then according to your own web link source I am very correct.... " Ammunition: HE (high explosive) - 6,296kg / Range 16km / effective range 8km (4km vs. air targets at elev. 85°). " http://www.seaforces.org/wpnsys/SURFACE/Oto-Melara-76mm-compact-super-rapid.htm ...a tank is a damn small target, if you fire in area range, you miss....SAN missed Mr.Day's boat 3 times fired 3 times missed target ![]() The T-72 will return fire and a ship is a huge massive target....SAN warship and incompetent sailors get sunk . |
saengine:I was never in debate about floating tanks, DO NOT divert attention away from your defeat.... Main battle tanks do sea operations.....they snorkel in deep ocean, they can sink a frigate 4km away, those are the original arguments. I won....3 Southies screwed on Easter day ![]() . |
patches689:SAN Valour frigate has no such ammunition, you have basic HE imported from Italy with your Italian 76mm gun, range effective is 8 km . |
patches689:A frigate is a big target, at 4 km the off point of a T-72 gun will still hit a huge frigate. T-72 tanks also fire 5km range guided missiles. You think I am posting comments from youtube? No, it's real war scenario I have in my mind . |
patches689:Mr. Day's fishing boat was not 16 km away. Again Valour frigate main gun effective range is only 8 km.....fool.....not 16 km to 20 km.....fool ![]() You want to fire Exocet missile on a tank ? ![]() Then SAN cannot shoot straight at a fishing boat as we see Mr.Day alive and well on Easter Friday ![]() . |
patches689:....because war is not always fought at long range. 4km is far beyond human eyesight identification of targets. Tanks will shoot that far . |
saengine:Yes....the forum is laughing at you now... ![]() saengine:.
|
patches689:Derivative my foot. IFV is NOT = light tank. Tank is tank. Light, medium, heavy, tank = tank . |
patches689:Where else will a frigate go if not to where the enemy is ? You think war is the sea jamboree in South Africa where Mr. Day's fishing boat is the enemy ? Fool ![]() A frigate from South African navy will engage the enemy warships if the enemy is landing on your shores. The enemy fleet has frigates, your frigate will go challenge them. Pity that SAN Valour frigates cannot shoot straight, they get sunk by tanks ![]() . . |
patches689:Nope, my first 3 photos this morning included the Type 63 tank, and that is what I intend to post, google may bring random images on a single search, but I started this morning with photo of 5 Type 63 tanks with red flags flying on them, go back up page and see my first posts. I have also shown Heavy Abrams tanks with snorkels dumped into the sea, and it is heavier than a T-72. My point is proved, heavy tanks do battle at sea up to snorkel level, and if enemy warships appear, they will fire and sink it from 4 km far distance away. PROVED ! .
|
patches689:If a Valour frigate is in the battle space of an amphibious operation, yes, from 4km away near shore in the waters, a T-72 will sink a distant Valour frigate in the deep ocean, frigates do go 2 km to the shore, that is deep deep water ! . |
patches689:I told you to leave the military researcher issue or else I keep rubbing mud in your face on Easter Friday. My photo is Type 63A Light Amphibious tanks. You DO NOT know difference between tank and IFV....Soweto mumu, messed up Friday ![]() http://www.military-today.com/tanks/type_63a.htm .
|
andrewza:Nope, that is EXACTLY the point.....tanks do sea war operations, they ford or snorkel from ocean to beach land. saengine:I have defeated 3 South Africans in one argument, please go home and lick y.our wounds .
|
patches689:These photos are tanks NOT IFV....or else I will make this forum mock you for not knowing a tank from and IFV ![]() Keep asking me if I am a military researcher....empty barrel ![]() .
|
andrewza:Heavy tanks with heavy armour get dumped into the ocean in amphibious landing and have to snorkel ashore from sea to land. Those heavy M1A1 Abrams tanks in photo below are NOT amphibious tanks, they have huge snorkels at their backs. You Southies should just accept defeat and stop baseless arguments, I have proved you wrong with photos and even @saengine has run away ![]() .
|
andrewza:Escorting landing ships in amphibious ops War is war. Expect the unexpected. See photo below. Navy Vs Navy in amphibious landing clash can bring a frigate to face a tank. SANDF has NEVER done amphibious landing in her war history, come to Nigerian navy for lessons.....the only navy in Africa with that experience . |
