drag_on: Will exit the submarine from a safe distance and do what? Swim the remaining 4260 KM?They will be dead and eaten by sharks before the go 200km. Read his post again.
hahaha cheesy

the south africans want to turn themselves into sea food for nigerian sea Sharks, desperation to find NNS ARADU in safe harbour.

nigerian sharks will chop belle full that day o, let the soweto divers dey swim dey come cheesy

Mike..ZA:
Ever heard about Recces? South African special forces?. Submarines won't be "docked" at your ports to sink your NNS Arandu, just like that Russian ship in Angola. SANDF special forces(explosive experts) will exist the submarine(covert insertion) from a safe distance the last thing your admirals will be hearing in Abuja is that Aradu has sunk after a loud explosion.
fool cheesy

if you drop divers into nigerian ocean, how far away will your soweto warship be from our coast ? the oxygen divers carry lasts just about one hour maximum in most cases and when the air finishes in the cylinder, your divers will die by suffocation underwater cheesy

also NNS ADARU and many other nigerian warships have underwater sonar and NNS ARADU sonar is brand new from america, sonar detects moving metals underwater from many kilometers away, all the oxygen breathing metal cylinders of your soweto divers will be detected and nigerian navy knows all their numbers and location, then they will launch anti-submarine under water depth charges to blow them up cheesy

that is option one. then option two comes.

NNS ARADU withdraws into safe harbour sourrounded by anti-submarine and anti-frogmen nets and mines. how will south african frogmen swim underwater through that d.eadly barrier ?

your Recces underwater will be caught and trapped in the nigerian nets like crabs and crayfish cheesy

unless your navy divers get underwater spiritual help from mammy water herself, it is a mission impossible, NNS ARADU is 100% safe.

No bros, this is not spam, its pure military info. you are always welcome on this thread.

i have tried to join the other thread of @Henry too, i post the very very very few nigerian military photos i can get, maybe once in a month.

the other thread is very beautiful, best african military and police photo thread i think we have on this continent today.

this one here is a slaughter house thread where we squeeze both the neck and the balls of south african military all in one blow cheesy

CraigB: And what have you achieved?

South Africa has gone on to show that you indeed are deserving of the insults. For your situation is more stark than originally thought.

You've only given South Africa the chance to demonstrate how better they are. Spare us the long rant. You are ranting against a young nation of 50 million people, because it's thumped your old, but useless nation of 160 million.

Eat your humble pie in humility and be happy.

Nigeria27: shouldn't our two countries work together instead of fighting on the internet ?
bros, not our fault. the south africans started the fight on page one of this forum saying nigerian military is outdated and inferior to their own.

how can a cowardly SANDF army that does not have one quarter of our NA courage proven over the past 25 years come here and insult us like that.

ah ! my bros, fight go shele for here o !

now that is at nairaland forum level.

at national and international level, there is a big problem always caused by south africa.

see, every where south africa goes to intervene on african soil they cause trouble for africa, while nigeria intervenes to solve problems.

south africa only helps other african countries positively when UN or AU is there to watch the south africans, like in Burundi and Congo DRC.

in CAR Bangui, south africa was there only to enrich themselves in mineral mining and looting a fellow african nation just because they are smaller and weaker. Congo DRC too south africa has hidden agenda of mineral resources enrichment, the only thing keeping them in check is that UN put their army under UN control, or else let them be free and the will add looting Congo DRC minerals to the R.ape of the young girls in Congo DRC.

nigeria and ECOWAS was busy solving ivory coast civil war problem by insisting that the man who won election voted for by the majority of people should be given power, then south africa sent navy warship to support the opposite side and keep ivory coast in a civil war situation thus destabilizing the whole west african sub-region.

thank God nigeria warned them off so that we dont have to sink south african navy's SAS Drakensberg warship and teach them a lesson of war.

do you ever trust a south afican ? see the way they tell lies here, weapon with range 38km they will say it is 100km artillery.

soweto mofos !

Fighter Pilot: Umkhonto R also called block 3 with an extended range of up to 80 000m has already been developed. Due to budget constraints denel looks for a partner for large production of this masterpiece.

Just send your low-cost Chengdu F7-Ni in Soweto to have a taste of it and they will tell you thereafter when your pilots arrive home on body bags.
we are NOT fools here mister, there is NO Umkhonto 80km range missile in existence.

it is only a hope for the future, a dream far away from reality. current range is only 20km according to DENEL and Janes world defence, and it is a recent test NOT in any south african military armoury.

show us source to prove your 419 scam claim of 80km, dont you know how intelligent nigerians are ? fool cheesy

now go back and read your very own 3 sources you quoted, ALL THREE said the maximum range of 20km was just achieved now in a test fire.

the only place you will find any 80km range mentioned is wikipedia, talking about the future hopes and dreams on paper.

"The radar-guided version's range is extended to 80 km (50 mi) and has a higher operational ceiling 15,000 m (49,000 ft). It is also 65 kg (143 lb) heavier and 98 cm (39 in) longer than the Umkhonto-IR version. Denel Dynamics is currently in negotiations with the Brazilian Navy for joint development of the missile.

Denel Dynamics is currently developing a longer range Umkhonto-IR-ER variant with a range exceeding 20 km with a larger motor that extends the range to 30 km, and also has designed a Umkhonto-CLOS (command-to-line-of-sight) version that could prove attractive in the African Region as well as a Beyond Visual Range Radar-Guided version to increase range to 80 km (50 mi)."

only a dullard south african thinks a missile designed on paper drawing is ready to be fired from that piece of paper drawing and against a living target in reality. fool cheesy

What really suprises me is that even though your country has 170million people to our 50million you are still behind us in gdp and also have no modern fighters that could even compare to the gripen along with this the so called "unproven" rooivalk recently killed m23 rebels in the congo on november 4th a day later I quote"the remaining m23 senior comanders have now fled across the border into rwanda" also on the 5th november reuters reported that"m23 rebels have decided to lay down their arms" I enjoyed nigerias large input into the region... oh wait ther was none further south africa could easily relaunch its nuclear program to which nigeria would be helpless as south africa has also previously begun developing a ICBM which was stopped but if we really wanted we could just drop nukes from one of our c-130's and finally to end IF there was a war between the two nations and sanctions were placed on them who would still have a advanced arms industry capable of building mirages(atlas cheetas)aswell as rooivalks,r5 rifles ,various artilery pieces,aa guns and basically anything that would be needed for war
your fellow south africans have admitted on this forum last week that nigeria's GDP will soon overtake that of South Africa

the much feared giant of Africa is growing bigger and becoming a titan cheesy

i dont like to do this, but i will do you a favour by repeating a small post.

you missed 855 pages of this thread only to jump in and post garbage.

anyway, south african army is too afraid to return to C.A.R nation and fight Seleka rebels that disgraced your army in battle of Bangui, March 2013.

Angola, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania will fight South Africa to a draw. Nigeria will beat South Africa into coma. We will surround their army in a four pronged attack encirclement, and choke them up in the middle.

our Bofors artillery is equal to their own in range.

our F-7 jets PL-9C missiles is equal to their own in range.

our Otomat missiles are superior to their own in range.

our soldiers are 3 times more in number.

our soldiers have superior recent combat activity experience.

our air defence is superior to their own in capacity.

our artillery guns are 5 times more in number.

we have spy satellites and spy balloons, but they have none.

i just saw a major technical combat weakness in south african navy submarines, i was shocked. i will post it in the next one week

nigerian military will defeat south africa in war, it will be a long battle, but we will win. how long to win, i cannot say, maybe 6 months, i think

i think the only hurry now that nigerian military wants to quickly settle is the beyond visual range ultra modern AKASH 35km range land based anti-aircraft missiles purchase from india.

this will give us more air defence range against countries like Egypt since Roland SAM range is about 8km.

with the coming AKASH SAM, coming Type 056 Stealth warship, coming Pipavav Tiger class Stealth warship, the existing PL-9C air to air missiles, Otomat anti-ship missiles, beyond visual range ASPIDE anti-aircraft missiles with 75km range for air defence at sea, Bofors F-77 40km range artillery, APR-40 mobile Rocket artillery with 45km range, Palmaria mobile artillery with 30km range, ATR-42 Surveyor aircraft, Spy Satellites in orbit.....

even Egypt will think twice before attacking nigeria.

South Africa wont even try it, they will look for another way of committing suicide at home in soweto . FACT !!!

Fighter Pilot: Umkhonto Surface-to-Air-Missiles can now be fired through land based launchers, the GBADS, meaning that they can now be used by the South African Army.

Here are the variants of Umkhonto:
1. Umkhonto IR B1(Range 12 000m)
B2(Range 15 000m)
2. Umkhonto ER (Range 20 000m)
3. Umkhonto R (Range 80 000m)

http://www.defencetalk.com/denel-tests-extended-range-umkhonto-surface-to-air-missile-49350/
even the 20km range umkhonto missile is NOT YET in service. still under testing, it takes time to complete missile tests to avoid failure in battlefield engagement. so please dont ever post the fake imaginary 80km variant on this forum again, you hear me ?

also, NOT every DENEL tested weapon or munition is in service with south african military.

you only have what you buy. nigerian army too pays for DICON weapons before we can induct them into service.

dont think government arms company will give free weapons to any military anywhere, USSR tried it and her economy collapsed.

lastly, there is NO Umkhonto missile ever built to range of 80km, it is just a proposal and hope for the future.

the longest range Umkhonto missile ever built in this world is only 20km and still under testing.

"Denel Dynamics, the guided weapons division of South Africa's Denel, carried out the first live-fire tests of the land-based version of its Umkhonto naval surface-to-air missile (SAM) between 1 and 3 October.

The tests also saw an Umkhonto-IR destroy a target at 20 km for the first time, a feat achieved after recent modifications to the Block 2 variant"

SOURCE : http://www.janes.com/article/28033/land-based-umkhonto-fired-for-the-first-time

nigeria has ASPIDE beyond visual range anti aircraft missile with range 75km, don't feel too bad about naija's missile superiority, after all nigeria is a senior brother to south africa.

soweto's air defence missile capability is still much far behind that of lagos, live with it because you cannot deal with it.

weakness of south african navy Type 209 submarines

south african navy Type 209 submarine has only a submerged range of 740km and nigeria is 5,000km away.

Range:

11000 Nautical miles (nmi) at 10 knots, surfaced,
(20,000 km at 20 km/h)

8,000 nmi at 10 knots, snorkeling,
(15,000 km at 20 km/h)

400 nmi at 4 knots, submerged
(740 km at 7 km/h)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_209_submarine

this is the weakness of south african navy submarines i said i have seen and i will post, the naval blockade if attempted will be a total disaster leading to the wiping out of south africa's expensive but not so effective navy.

south africa will not be able to torpedo NNS ARADU, she will be safe in harbour because south african submarines CANNOT reach nigerian waters 5,000km away without surfacing or snorkeling and nigerian super spy satellites and the powerful ATR-42 Surveyor aircraft master of the ocean will see your submarines coming, then NNS ARADU withdraws into safe harbour sourrounded by anti-submarine and anti-frogmen nets and mines.

the submarines need to be exposed to surface in nigerian waters to give them range, and they will be sunk by NAF Alpha jets and L-39 Albatross jets, or even Mi-35 nd Mi-171 terminator helicopter gunships, as the submarine sails in that vulnerable mode.

south african navy submarines have NO capacity to remain in nigerian waters for more than one single day (and that is if they ever reach nigerian EEZ ocean territory alive without being sunk by NAF aircraft rockets) and mount a naval blockade without running out of diesel/fuel or being sunk from the air by jets or helicopters.

they CANNOT mount a naval blockade 5,000 km away from home. FACT !!!!

.
i am beginning to see signs that nigerian military top brass have analysed every threat possible from all other african countries and have a combat solution to every possible threat.

reason they are not afraid of anybody buying any weapons we dont have in nigeria.

i think the only hurry now that nigerian military wants to quickly settle is the beyond visual range ultra modern AKASH 35km range land based anti-aircraft missiles purchase from india.

drag_on: You did not help them launch it, grin and your tracking services was only secondary.

FIJI will be the data collection hub for a space mission to Mars by the Indian Government.

An 18-member team of top scientists and engineers from India's International Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is in the country to pave the way for India's first-ever satellite mission to the Red Planet later this month.

The $US69million ($F127.3m) Mars Orbiter Mission called Mangalyaan will be launched from India and scientists expect the rocket to enter space from somewhere high above Fiji's airspace or somewhere close.

The mission will be monitored from Fiji and other parts of the South Pacific ocean.

In an exclusive interview with this newspaper, ISRO scientist and project leader Mirza Mohammed Zaheer said one ship, which would monitor the tracking of the satellite, was in Fiji while another would arrive on Saturday.

"We are sending a satellite to orbit towards the Mars planet so in that, the injection of the satellite will take place somewhere in the South Pacific ocean," Mr Zaheer said.

"We will be going on the ship-bound terminals and getting the data, transmitting to our launch centre from our ship and those data will be used for the satellite, further establishing the mission, doing the Mars capture and then start orbiting Mars."

Mr Zaheer said the trajectory of the rocket would be over Fiji.

"There are some technical perimeters which defines the trajectory. The duration will be 25 days."

India's High Commissioner to Fiji Vinod Kumar said with the purpose of tracking, ISRO scientists and other concerned agencies would be in Fiji monitoring aboard the two Indian ships from two different points in the Pacific ocean.

He said the Indian Deep Space Network would perform the navigation and tracking operations of the mission while NASA Deep Space Network will provide support services during the non-visible period of the Indian Deep Space Network.

Mr Kumar said ISRO would use its Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle Rocket with the objective to develop technologies required for design, planning, management and operations of an interplanetary mission.

"Fiji has been chosen for its ideal location, being a communication hub and our close and friendly relations," he said.

"We are thankful to the government of Fiji and other agencies for their support in this mission. Such visits contribute to strengthening our relations and would also be helpful in developing relations in the area of science and technology."

He said the team would present the model rocket and satellite to President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau today.

The Mars Orbiter Mission carries a thermal infra-red imaging spectrometer to map Mars' surface composition and mineralogy.

And they want to compare which is battle hardened. grin

courtesy Beegeagle Blog.
south africa has NOT fought a single war for the past 25 years.

the only battle they fought lasted only about 5 hours and involved onlt about 200 south african soldiers.

i have never see any military analyst in this world that ever said a 5 hour battle of 200 soldiers makes a 50,000 man army battle hardened cheesy

i mean....the 200 SANDF men fighting and running away from Seleka rebels were also at the same time battle hardening the remaining 48,800 south african soldiers who were sleeping at home with their wives under a blanket cheesy
