Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 1:25am On Sep 20, 2013
MiguelMi6: Strongest military in africa:it has to be a tie between the ruling powers of each region-Egypt(North),Nigeria(West),SA(south africa),kenya or Uganda(East).
The first three regions have their areas of superiority.some more advanced in naval combat, another air defence, another manpower and guerilla war.the last region-East,its only equipped for homeland defence.don't think it can withstand external aggression.
Miguel...Hispanic ?

i like your comment...except that you did not rank Ethiopia, a country that does not fear Egypt....should itself be feared...i fear Ethiopia !

dont compare south africa to america or other world powers that have many hundreds or thousands of jets and helicopters, they are too well defended...south africa is weak.

also, american weapons are more than they tell you, they get lots of new upgrades never published to the world.

try use south african Umkhonto missile on land if your warship now has tryes like Toyota Corolla to drive go fight a war in the cities...fool cheesy

Fighter Pilot: Who is that guy that is always telling you such lies. South Africa has a plan to develop locally made missiles to use on all its war ships. Algeria has even recently ordered the same valour type ships from Germany and have asked SA to them with the armament. Your navy is only much stronger on brown water and hopefully not on blue seas.

FACT!! Nigeria has only limited number of otomat missiles.
nigerian navy Otomat long range anti-ship missiles : 40 units

south african navy Exocet anti-ship missiles : 17 units

source : SIPRI org.

FACT. GO BACK TO PREVIOUS PAGES OR SHUT UP, THIS TOPIC HAS BEEN TREATED IN MUCH DETAIL 2 MONTHS AGO cheesy

Fighter Pilot: This your comment is stupid because your raising issues about now defunct apartheid regime which did not have any support of the people it governed. Everybody in the country and including a small portion of white people were against the apartheid government. The situation was The government vs the people and how will you expect the government to win in that case because it is the people who make the government.

Moreover, the ANC was not a terrorist organisation because they never killed people intentionally and instead fought for their freedom. The use of the word terrorist was coined by apartheid government to sabotage the ANC against the likes of the US and UK until such strategy could not work for them anymore. The truth has its way of coming out and instead both countries called upon ANC to apologise and offered them assylum and educated them for free. Most ANC members were educated in both the US and UK.
i set all those traps for all you south africans with those ANC sizwe posts, and you are my first victim cheesy

terrorist is terrorist....all are killers, whether boko haram or ANC rebel

bomb is bomb

national army is national army....whether nigerian or south african

home soil is home soil, whether in nigeria or south africa

i just proved a big point that no country can fight war on homeland against people who have a strong faith in any cause or ideology without the national army being killed in their own home.....south african soldiers were killed in their home soil air force base by ANC terrorists.....FACT !!!!

dont make excuse for your own south african military if you want to laugh at nigeria....you will be laughing at south africa too cheesy grin tongue shocked

zaandrew: The actvties of liberastion movements in SA were never a threat. For the most part the cops handeld it the SADF only steped in a few times. The SA goverment regulay suppressed all opstion with no problem in SA.
south african military did NOT defeat ANC terrorists and the fact that ANC was bomibing south africa from the inside....makes it a real threat to national security....fact !!!!!

how ANC terrorists k.illed 11 south african air force men inside their air force base at home

"On the afternoon of 20 May 1983, two African National Congress (ANC) cadres, Freddie Shangwe and Ezekial Maseko, drove to Church Street in Pretoria and parked their vehicle in close vicinity of the building which housed the South African Air Force (SAAF) headquarters. Their intention was to detonate explosives at 16h30, a time when many of the SAAF personnel who worked in the building would be exiting or waiting at a bus stop near the entrance of the building. For some unknown reason, the explosives were detonated prematurely at approximately 16h20. A huge explosion ensued, causing great loss of life and injury as well as extensive damage to property. The explosion was reported to have killed nineteen people of whom eleven were members of the SAAF and 217 were wounded."

Mike..ZA:
The South African Navy has four stealth warships plus a force multiplier in the form of 3 submarines. In fact we are the only country in sub-Saharan africa to own submarines. With a supply ship SAS Drakenburg, meaning our warships can "turn up" anywhere in Africa.
south african valour frigates have only 4 anti-ship missiles each....it wont take you anywhere, nigerian navy has 40 Otomat anti-ship missiles with longer range 80km-180km than all south african nvalour frigate Exocet missiles with range 70km.

NNS ARADU will sink a valour frigate from a distance....south africa loses cheesy

submarine will NOT win you any war, unless you fix tyres on it, drive it from underwater to land...then use it to capture a place where people live...or else keep ruling over fishes and crabs in deep oceans with your 'metal aquarium' called a submarine cheesy

zaandrew: But the nigerian milltary put the numbers at 150. The SANDF did not once menstion seleka losses. Other sources including seleka were used to get to 800.

Fact is that you sufferd has many losses has us, killed less rebels, did in in your home, had APCs and other vechiels, had great numbers and yet you still got those losses. Now imgiane those same nigerian solders, but only 200 of them with zero support, vechiles or any thing.

Fact is that the fools jumped the gun. Now you got mud in your face.
even mighty american army kill ratio in somali rebels combat is about 10:1, no army in modern warfare has record of kill ratio 160:1 like south africa claims....south african army was only m.asturbating itself....thinking it was having s.ex cheesy

nigeria fought in jungle, south africa fought on open city streets...jungle warfare is the most dangerous in the world and britain ran away from japan's army in burma jungle world war II....lets see south african army enter congo jungle and face M23 rebels....nigeria did not use armoured vehicles inside a jungle...fool....you are a cook/chef in south african navy....no army drives armoured vehicles into a jungle located on a mountain top...fool cheesy

laugh so your teeth can drop out, south african army ran away from seleka rebels in bangui....boko haram ran away from nigerian army in borno to hide in mountains and jungles

nigerian army has killed over 4 of top boko haram commanders including Shekau the number one leader...south african army could not even kill the mosquitoes around Djatodia the leader of seleka rebels....keep laughing....let your teeth drop to the ground....south african army is under the the command and protection of Tanzanian army in Congo because the UN knows ran away from Seleka rebels, so a small Tanzania has to rule over you and your DENEL made heavily painted and polished weapons cheesy

andrewza: Yes you all so ignored the heavy casualties (and we mean heavy) that we inflected on seleka

how many insurgency have the Americans killed how long have they been fighting and has it been in the USA.
seleka kill ratio 160:1 is a big lie...or else Guinness book of records would have recognized it

america has only 2% muslim, nigeria has about 45% muslims....and northern nigeria where boko haram operates is 95% muslim.

america does not have a muslim population of 95% in any state to create an islamic terrorist zone.

Who did we copy the ratel, casspir, mamba RG41 RG35, RG31 RG32, SS77,60mm Patmorta, drankensberg, Umkontoi, Rooikat, rooivalk, G7, extra extra extra extra

Yes a lot of our stuff borrowed from other ideas this is not rare or uncommon but rather the norm, only a fool ignores the works of others., the AK47 borrowed from the STG44 for example. The follow with your eyes systems in modern jets comes from SA the look down shoot down from Russia the M1A1 uses a Germain 120mm gun the styker uses the chassis of a Canadian LAV3 witch is swiss
yes all, and i mean all....the full technology base for all south african made weapons have been directly transferred to your country by americans, europeans, and israelis from 1960 to 2013 including the latest army Badger IFV from finland 2011 to 2014...all that you have was transfered, you built on the europeans, americans, and israeli technical transfers....you did not originate anything...FACT !!!!!

andrewza: The report said 3km that is all so it went 3km nothing more.

You want to compare a experimental rocket to a guided hyper velocity anti air missile? ever heard of the saying apples and oranges.

Is a beagle a member of the Nigerian defense industry or a civilian, And why is the only source you do not think that something of that nature would be picked up.

Who said it is hard? on the contrary we have mentioned private citizens with some pretty high end rockets. We just pointing out Nigeria does not have the tech are the need. Why would Nigeria waist money on this project, when there are over 100million Nigerians in poverty and a insurgency. It is called priority.

It is called marketing, all the big boys do it maybe when Nigeria makes something worthy to sell you will do it. Not to mention not all the details are released, most of the Cheetah systems are still marked classified.

The posted limitations of all your weapons are all so on the INTERNET(like all countries out there), Like you BTR3s Armour is no better than a BTR80s 0r BTR90s aka small arms fire, the range of your J7 being so tiny one could laugh should we go on mr slowpoke.

Really if it is such a security how do we all know so much?

come back when that has been verified

Yes developing something we have had for decades and your projects are still in the diaper stage.

You a fool FACT
only a foolish country like south africa will publish full details of its home made weapons ranges and all technical data on free public internet for its enemies to read and use against it. nigeria is not the fool, south africa is...i see all DENEL weapons limits and weaknesses on public internet...fools of soweto cheesy

the source clearly says the information you are hungry for is already secret/classified by nigeria, no government official will publish all nigerian Epe missile details on internet to satisfy 3 or 4 south african buffoons who are already having epilepsy in fear of nigerian made missiles being upgraded rapidly in all technical capabilities cheesy

south africa's only anti-aircraft missile is Starstreak and its maximum altitude/ceiling is ONLY 1km, a very bad imported missile that CANNOT defend south african army against and ordinary Mi-35 Hind helicopter flying at 2km altitude and killing all south african soldiers and amoured vehicles on the ground....South Africa has a very poor air defense...Britain sold you a police/anti-Rhino poacher level air defense weapon...FACT !!!!!

post the altitude/ceiling limit of your foolish velocity Starstreak missile with source, mine is below...ONLY 1km...foolish south african buffoons cheesy

Missile range: Minimum 1500m (1.5km), maximum 5500m (5.5km)
Flight time: 8 seconds
Guidance: Semi-automatic, line of sight, beam riding
Time into action: SP - less than 10 seconds to 10 minutes. LML - 2 minutes. Single missile - less than 10 seconds
Ceiling: 1000m (1km)
Missile speed: Mach 3

saengine: And then when a Selela commander admitted we killed over 250 men in his unit alone you still refused to admit that we also "won". We had a huge kill ratio, more than 10:1 but your pride was too much to admit that South African soldiers put up a fantastic fight. You made fun on us, you spoke too soon.

Now you have your own CAR/Bangui/Seleka situation on your own hands, and worse ON YOUR HOME SOIL. 16 of your own troops killed on their motherland. 15 of our troops killed 1000's of kilometres from home.....who looks more stupid now. What happened to your so called IFV's....at least you had heavy armour and airforce to back you up. But still.

I dont celebrate death. RIP to those Nigerian soldiers and i hope they find the 9 missing soldiers alive, but this is a lesson to YOU not to talk so fast next time.

And just to add one more bit. This happened over the weekend, but your army only admitted it on Tuesday. What kind of pathetic military structure is that? What were they trying to hide/change in those two days. How long does it take to count 16 bodies?
what if nigerian army told a lie like south afriocan army and claim we killed over 250 boko haram ? or 850 boko haram to match the lies and propaganda of @andrewza ? will anybody be able to disprove the nigerian army claim ? which journalist was with both sides in the jungle war ?

nigeria does not lie with kill ratio, no country, not even america in vietnam war or somali rebels war was able to achieve that extremely exaggerated south african lie of killing 250 to 850 seleka rebels...why does your own seleka figure have many versions ?

liar south africans .... and why did you RUN AWAY from seleka rebels ? nigerian army did NOT run away from boko haram, rather it is boko bous that ran away to hide in the jungle and mountains....if your soweto brains cannot intelligently judge who won a battle...then all your girlfriends will soon be mine for a nice time !

saengine: By whose standards? Your standards? grin grin grin

What is his definition of "bigger and more complex"? You are not only putting words in his mouth by saying the range will be 500-1000km, you are putting your d*ck, your wife, your family and friends, all your possesions in his mouth. The poor man is in ICU now because of all the things you put in his mouth.

Example. What is that useless Nigerian UAV called? Amebo? Is Amebo II not "bigger and more complex" than Amebo I? But how is Amebo II compared to the world standard of UAV's being produced? It's still a piece of sh*t.
did you personally test or use a nigerian Amebo drone UAV too analyse its capabilities ? Brazil has requested that Nigeria allow them to come and join our Amebo drone project as a joint venture so that Brazil too can benefit and use the same nigerian made drones...fact !!!

south african UAV drones too are bad because we dont see them used in any war, they have ZERO history of combat achievement, all the DENEL hungwe, bateleur, and other are a piece of S..H..I..T, fact !!!

anyway, the nigerian Epe missile guardian quoted source says it is going to use some of the rocket variants to launch a nigerian space satellite into orbit, space satellites orbit in range of 500km to 1,000km so the nigerian made rockets is flying that high to accomplish that target...fact !!!

meanwhile, go look up the dictionary meaning of "bigger and more complex" since we all know you dropped out of a soweto school where the did not teach you mathematics and basic science, then now simple english vocabulary is also a big problem for you...fool cheesy

use your brain once in a while, you dont have to be told everything like a copy and paste addict, your fish brain could be improved by a DENEL upgrade i guess cheesy

your girlfriend will soon start loving me the way i kick you around on nairaland, then i overthrow your regime finally....you will have no girlfriend anymore....back to square one cheesy

The air force remains with just a handful of operational aircraft, after 15 years of heavy budgetary allocations to the armed forces under military rule.
go back to pages 280 of this thread....4 new stealth warships are under construction for nigerian navy to arrive from next year...south africa too has only 4 new stealth warships...so what is the difference ? cheesy

2,000 south african soldiers killed on home soil by ANC black terrorists

http://www.trackingterrorism.org/group/umkhunto-we-sizwe-mk

http://www.historytoday.com/gary-baines/south-africa%E2%80%99s-forgotten-war

"However, conscription caused considerable political ‘fallout’ as the number of SADF casualties grew. The number of those killed while on active duty in defence of the Republic of South Africa remains unclear, but it is thought to be at least 2,000. Nonetheless, from the mid-1980s the Border War was still regarded by the majority of conscripts (and their families) as a necessary commitment to ensure the continuation of white power and privilege. Occasionally, conscripts defied the system and joined oppositional organisations such as the End Conscription Campaign (ECC) and in rare instances national servicemen went into exile to join the ranks of the armed wings of the African National Congress (ANC) or Pan-Africanist Congress (PAC).

If one person’s ‘terrorist’ is another’s ‘freedom fighter’, then the white minority’s Border War was the black majority’s ‘liberation struggle’. "

Taliban bomb kills Pakistani Army General, two other soldiers on home soil

ISLAMABAD | Sun Sep 15, 2013 9:57am EDT

(Reuters) - A roadside bomb killed a Pakistani general and another officer on Sunday near the border with Afghanistan, the Pakistani army said, rare high-ranking casualties in Pakistan's war against militants.

Major General Sanaullah Khan, along with a lieutenant colonel and another soldier, were killed in the Upper Dir district after visiting an outpost near the border, the army said.

Taliban spokesman Shahidullah Shahid claimed responsibility for the bombing, which Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said would not affect the fight against militants.

"Pakistan army has made substantial sacrifices to protect the nation against the menace of terrorism and such cowardly acts by terrorists cannot deter the morale of our armed forces," Sharif said in a statement.

The attack comes after weeks of discussions within Sharif's government about whether to pursue peace talks with the Pakistani Taliban, who are separate from Afghanistan's Taliban, although allied with them.

Last week, major political parties held a conference on the issue and agreed that talks should be pursued.

But it was not clear when talks might begin, who might take part or if they would be held under any conditions.

The killing of Khan and his colleagues would likely make it more difficult for the government to enter negotiations.

The Pakistani Taliban, an umbrella group of different factions, have said they would have their own meeting to decide whether to negotiate with the government. Analysts said it might be difficult for them to reach an agreement.

Taliban spokesman Shahid said the attacks would continue while the militants decided if the government's offer was genuine.

"If we find them serious we can talk, otherwise we will continue our attacks," he said.

The Taliban said last year that they would only consider talks if the government imposed strict Islamic law and went to war with old enemy India.

Ground based anti aircraft missile systems can be destroyed by the G5 and G6 guns. The Mi-35 helicopter can be destroyed by a paveway bomb, did you hear me!!!!?? By a paveway bomb while in the air. Besides the Mi-24s and Mi-35s have this HUGE infrared signature, and are outclassed by the highly sophisticated Rooivalk gunship. With its NOE capability it can hide among trees or buildings only to pop up put a mokopa on target and hide again. The Hinds can be easily detected.
you are the first south african fool on this forum to say a bomb dropped from an aircraft will be used to destroy a helicopter flying in the air....nigerian Hind helicopter has altitude of about 15,000 feet in the air !

First Egypt has 10 000 less tanks. Secondly they can't fight during Yim Koppur war they had T-62 tanks with night vision capabilities but were defeated,Israel was closing in on Cairo. Third Egypt is engaged currently and can't run huge operations. Example being fuel,it is cheap there by they don't have facilities. The Abrams tank consume A LOT of fuel. Firth their soldiers are trained to fight in the desert or north africa, not in the sub Saharan. Example for what happens to desert commandos trying to fight in the South was when Libya sent its commandos to Tanzania in Uganda. They were easily defeated. Last Egypt is BROKE,it relies from aid from the USA and Qatar.
Fighter Pilot: OMG!! All which you have written above is a poo. Are you sure you have never made a mistake and take military strength of India mistaken as that of Egypt. Your statistics above were grossly over exaggerated.

By the way Egypt has 450 000 personnel in total.

The Starstreak missile has a range of 7km you pig. Way. Your Roland system is obsolete, the startstrek only come in service around 1997. 7KM better!!!
Britain sold a very weak missile to south africa, that your shiny paint Starstreak CANNOT shoot above 1km altitude against enemy aircraft....nigerian Roland SAM is far better....Pretoria bought a bad anti-aircraft weapon....what a pity cheesy

Fighter Pilot: How dare you compare such a nonsense to a starstreak which can run with a velocity of over Mach 4. There is no fighter or helicopter in the world which can run with such a speed. It will be very difficult to manuevre such a fast moving object, however Starstreak remains the best anti-aircraft missile you can ever get in the whole world. Is nothing compared to that amateur rocket.
south african air defence is very weak, your foolish British imported Starstreak anti-aircraft missile CANNOT harm a nigerian Mi-35 Hind helicopter gunship attacking south african soldiers from altitude of 2km.....FACT !!!!

To tell you the truth it looks more like an amateur rocket firing. If that is the level which Nigeria can only go upto, then shame on you because you still have a lot to improve that bloody thing. You are just only a disgrace to Africans at large and with that nonsense you will only proof the Chinese right through the assumptions once made by their president that Africans are not innovative nor technologically inclined to produce anything better.

1. Where do you get 600m from? That rocket was launched on 29th of January 2012 and reached an altitude of 11 480 feet (3530m). You clearly didn't read the description of the video nor did you open the rocketry link to view South African rocket records. Now get down on your knees and apologise fool grin grin.

2. No idi*t. No rockets will hit any aircraft because unlike Nigeria things are more organised in South Africa. You cannot launch a rocket in your backyard whenever you feel like it. Launches are carried out on specific days and only in specific demarcated areas. Just like our skydiving zones, commercial and private pilots are not allowed to fly in those zones on those days. Hence the skies are clear on launch days during launch times. You must have a certificate and have written a test to launch certain class of rockets in South Africa.

3. Again fool. No the American record is not 1350m. That record as it clearly states was the largest (height and diameter) and heaviest (due to engine configuration). Where in that article do you see them talking about an altitude record? Amateur rockets in the U.S have reached the edge of space, not a stupid 1350m.

Compare the video of what you claim is the record (look at the size) to other amateur rockets. Which one went higher?

Your video claim

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxgMhHOaUSY

Edge of space amateur rocket

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYE82kHzFIE

Which one went higher fool? Now bow down in shame.

all those amateur rockets dont match what nigeria is developing, Epe station is testing rockets and is linked to a space projects, and is rapidly graduating to become more complex, 100 times more complex than the toys all these fun-loving amateurs are building...read the newspaper source again...you fool cheesy

" In his interview, Fashade — who now heads Research and Development at the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education, Il-Ife — said NASRDA would eventually “graduate to bigger and more complex craft.” "

american record of amateur rocket altitude is very hard to find, if you find any one higher than the 1.35km i found , you can post it. i will not manufacture an american record, i can only post what i find on internet. find a higher american record and post it. simple !

i didnt see the tiny 3,500m on the screen, you should post comments with data added if it is hidden in a tiny corner.

in my opinion, i dont believe that you tube 3.5km because its is NOT a published source i can rely on, me too i can go on you tube and make video of a rocket launch and claim on my you tube video that it was 3.5km high in the sky.

if its a published official source, fine i will believe, but a you tube video is NO proof because we cannot measure its altitude, give me a published and credible source then i will believe your 3.5km

i owe you not apology for an unverifiable claim on a you tube video that can be manipulated to make any claim of altitude we cannot prove.

beegeagle website is more reliable than a you tube claim from a man doing and posting whatever he likes in south africa.

finally, i must tell you again that ameteur rockets that fly 1km upwards are NOT built by ordinary people, they are professionals of rocket science who have been well trained for many years with technical skills transfered to them by qualified technicians or engineers, not a fool like you who does not even know the formula for projectile velocity.

those guys did not buy any 1km to 3km rocket from inside a street store as you claimed is possible in south africa, and launch it in the air like ordinary people, they are trained, equipped, skilled, technically qualified, and licensed to launch rockets to a height that can kiss a south african airways passenger plane in the air at 1,000 feet to 10,000 feet !!!!

those guys built the rockets themselves or got it from professional rocket builders/technicians. if any fool can build a 1km rocket, why dont you yourself build one and post its photo for us to see here, fool cheesy

try put some common sense into your foolish arguments....and show me a published and credible source that measured that man's 3.5km rocket....not a you-tube video that any dummy can post and claim he flew up many kilometers...i am waiting, fool cheesy

nigerian missile project is far superior to all your fun-seeking amateur launches because .....

".....In his interview, Fashade — who now heads Research and Development at the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education, Il-Ife — said NASRDA would eventually “graduate to bigger and more complex craft.”

FACT !!!!

zaandrew: I wonder how a 3km range missiel will make nigeria somthing speciol.

I mean that shorter than the ingwene from the 1980s. All so no menstion is made of a payload, speed or any thing. Right now all we know is that a misseil flew 3km straight up and yet the fools here are going on like nigeria invinted a working railgun.
3km altitude, is NOT 3km range. use your head if you have one cheesy

the nigerian made missile is said to have 3km altitude and that means it is 3 times better than the only anti-aircraft missile in south africa called Starstreak SAM that you imported from Britain with a foolish altitude of only 1km, nigeria is 3 times better with our 3km cheesy

the report says nigeria is testing different sizes of missiles, and that tells you they are not all the same range and altitude. this story started from beegeagle and he says at 2012 the range of nigerian made missile was 70km, then in 2013 people corrected him with update of 120km range.

only a fool like you thinks it is hard to make a missile fly 100km when you already have missile technology, yes nigeria has missile building technology now with sources to prove it, all we need to make a missile fly up to increase its size and increase its fuel load, very simple to increase range.

nigeria is NOT foolish like south africa to publish all the technical details of its weapons on free public internet.

even me now in a far away continent, i can plan how to defeat all south african made weapons because i get all the limitations of your weapons performance freely on internet....foolish south africa has no big military secret any more....fools cheesy

nigeria ? fight nigeria and there will be very many surprises from our secretive military forces with modern technology we are now developing to become the strongest military in africa.

with our missile range and altitude increasing every season we do new upgrade and tests, nigeria can stop the big army of egypt on land with a massive surface to surface bombardment of nigerian made rockets and missiles with long ranges.

nigeria is testing many different sizes of missiles, meaning will build surface to ground, surface to air, and surface to sea missiles as Epe base station advances our new technology built only from locally sourced materials.

nigeria will roast south africa like chicken barbecue.....FACT !!!!

upcoming topic :

south african air defense missile is very useless with an altitude of only 1km, even a nigerian Mi-35 Hind helicopter gunship will fly at 2 km altitude and be k.illing south african soldiers on the ground without any challenge from the foolish imported British made Starstreak SAM of south africa....Roland SAM of nigeria has altitude of 5.5km and is 5 times better....fools laughing at a superior Roland SAM...fools of mandela republic cheesy

deadly Roland SAM of nigeria, 7 times better than all south african anti-aircraft missiles

chris365: for now this is the only official response you deserve since you don't want to believe beegeagle that is well connected to get his credible info for his blog.

"Osheku did not reveal the exact dimensions of the rockets his Centre is currently testing. But an earlier interview, with another source, left the impression that these missiles are larger than the ones Fashade had been experimenting with"

[b]Internationally, rocketry is a sensitive subject, because it encompasses “dual use technology”—instruments that can be used, either for peaceful or military purposes. “Nigeria must, therefore, tread softly,” Mohammed allowed, ” to avoid sending the wrong signals about our intentions, which are entirely peaceful”.

it's this underestimation that will continue to haunt you south africans on this thread. grin
the more you underestimate, the more heartache you'll continue to get from more exposure about Nigerian military capabilities.

you better start believing for the sake of your heart cos we won't be blamed for your sudden heart failure. grin
dont mind these few south african fools on nairaland who want a whole big country like nigeria to mess up its long range missile program by making a senseless and premature publication of full details of such a sensitive technology.....they want us to get international anger again like the time we asked north korea to share missile technology with nigeria.

how can a great nation like nigeria waste its great ambition for supreme power in africa by publishing sensitive military information for the itching ears of some 3 or 4 south african mofos...soweto buffoons cheesy
