It is clear enough.

The Proforce ARA or Thunder MRAP currently under-development is better than the Otokar Cobra.

I'm currently staring at the photo of the vehicle and specifications in my laptop, i just can't extract the image.
Don't worry bros, I will extract them for you and post. Thanks for the pdf file you showed us. Nigerian defence industry is world class o !

Man you really need to work on your English, especially the punctuation aspect. Your write-up bears a lot of similarities with that of a someone who is just learning how to write.
English is not the first language in South Africa, they have eleven national languages. His English needs not be perfect my brother.

When we say Nigerians are intellectually lazy, we mean it and the evidence is in your proforce and your own words. So, do you mean that you take cobra as it is and only change the front screen to a square because you can't even cut out the same shape of original cobra wind screen. It will prove difficult to your technicians. The square is a lot easier isn't? If you had the skills you would have copied it exactly the way it is, but now because the front will prove difficult for proforce, they had to change it to simple shape.

Have you even considered that square wind screen will make driving very uncomfortable especially when you will have to look to the sides. The shape will surely have to slung to the sides and that is not negotiable because I study engineering.
You don't know what a computer image PROTOTYPE is ? The vehicle is still under-development, the computer image is just to market it.

Truly you are intellectually backward as we say grin

how are Barlows tactics the exact opposit of AMANI?

Tell us how.

Why cant you Nigerians tell us how? We keep asking but you keep refusing to answer.
AMANI tactics is a 1970s archaic battle space setting common to SANDF, old doctrine you have failed to modernize, your training is outdated, reason why Cuba and Russia are now training you dummies grin grin

AMANI order of battle and field formation is like a tennis match, two players line up like dummies on opposite side of a net, start shooting balls into each others side of the dividing net hoping to score points.

See Nigerian army training and show me how SANDF can match this level !

I was actually about to ask about that. Why is Nigeria's defence industry so backward by still using old outdated primitive snail pace technology of manufacturing armoured vehicles? The world has moved so fast.
Snail pace? Nigerian Proforce produces 40 vehicles per month in that factory, how much does does one South African company produce monthly?

Envy is eating you up as we will soon overtake you like we did with GDP.

Meanwhile, show us South African armoured vehicle factory where you people say robots are working for you like Japan, show photo proofs !

1. Airforce is intergrated into the system as is the Army and Navy - all platforms are intergrated

2. That picture is highly impressive, it shows a mobile Ratel command post that has been intergrated - can you show us such a thing in your army?
Show us PROOF that ALL South African military platforms are integrated on this tactical datalink.

Stop lying to us, same way you guys said SAN has Super Lynx ASW helicopters armed with sonar and torpedoes, only for us to discover later that you have only search and rescue Super Lynx with ZERO sonar or torpedoes...liars !

Every army in this world communicates perfectly without military-wide datalink, they do not have to use exactly the same methods as SANDF.

Can you show us airborne battlefield command and control capability in South African military ?

1. No, you dont have a military wide datalink
2. No, you dont have military wide intergration of a combat managment system
3. No, you dont have a combat managment system at all.

If you wish to prove otherwise, provide citations.
Military wide datalink is NOT compulsory for every country, how many countries in the world have it, and how many have won a war with it?

SANDF has military wide datalink and Chaka C2 yet your army and air force combined have failed to secure your fatherland's borders from invading arms smugglers from Zimbabwe, foreign assassins from Rwanda, Rhino poachers from Mozambique..... so tell us what your army has achieved with tactical military-wide datalink and Chaka C2 combat management systems since all these years of SANDF failure on homeland sail in simple operations against weak targets grin grin

SA has over 100 indigenous companies and less than 5 foreign owned companies.

Stop misleading people. SAAB bought 70% stake from Grintek, a company which existed in SA many years before SAAB could come to the shores.

Rheinmetall and Denel Munitions (RDM) is a joint venture of 51/49%. Even before that Denel was owning the company (NESCHEM) alone until it decided to sell Reinmetall 51% stake of its Potchefstroom branch which is now renamed RDM.

SA had an indigenous company established in 1987 called THALES ADVANCED ENGINEERING which was an electronic security giant in the country

http://www.dataweek.co.za/article.aspX?pklarticleid=4163

http://www.securitysa.com/news.aspX?pklnewsid=20702

African defence systems Pty Ltd is the SA company which the THALES S.A then Thomson-CSF from France consumed by buying its controlling shares.

Talking about cars is irrelevant because we all know that SA does not have indigenous brand of automotives.
It's a big lie, LIST FOR US the so called imaginary 100 defence companies in South Africa, I am sure many of them are security guard companies providing guard services to your crime and murder ridden society.

90% of hi-tech South African defence industry is owned by Europe, your technological independence is has not yet come.

Those so called obsolete tactics were used by Eeben Barlow to improve the attacking skills of your military against BH and it worked perfectly well. Do away with all this new Hollywood fantasies and do it the right way. Back to Basics is always the answer.

Proforce Nigeria produces world class military armoured vehicles comparable to world standards, tested and proven ballistic capabilities....our LAV products are superior to some American LAV of same class, we make better quality....better than even South Africa.

The error comes from the company, not Agaugust. The image is image 28 in their picture gallery.

The Vehicle the company is currently developing is also in that photo-gallery. Nobody is trying to fool anybody, at-least not in this thread or mine.
I would say Proforce did not make an error, their own APC has different windows and lights compared to the Cobra, and btwn Russia is doing the same thing with their BPM-97 APC.....http://www.army-technology.com/projects/bpm-97-apc/

Cobra design is based on simple common sense over which nobody has copyright.

The original design is owned by Russia since 1950, called BTR-152....actually Turkey is the copy cat grin grin

Henry please for once let us not deceive ourselves here, we both can see clearly that the photo was photo shopped. There's also no such pic in the Proforce gallery so whose f.ooling who here.

Why is the back ground of both pics exactly the same, can you explain it to me?

Let's make a deal post the very same pics on your thread and allow the non SA and Nigerian posters tell us what there opinion is of the two pictures.
Patchesagain:
You posted a photo of the cobra
Proforce is posting a photo of their own look-alike of the Cobra under development, the windows and lights are different, true they used a Cobra photo as layout, but no big deal in that.

No copyright issue, the design is not peculiar to Turkey, as Russia has a similar APC design looking like a Cobra.

http://www.army-technology.com/projects/bpm-97-apc/

Turkey actually copied an old Russian year 1950design called BTR-152 http://survincity.com/2011/08/reincarnation-btr-152-bpm-97-the-shot/

Proforce Nigeria is right with that design, or you wanna arrest Russia first for a simple common sense design of BPM-97 APC?

You Southies just wanna accuse Nigeria's 100% owned and fast growing defence industry just because we finally exposed the European ownership of 90% of South African defence industry.

#WRECKED SOUTH AFRICAN ENVY LOADED ARGUMENT.

What do you mean belongs to the SANDF? Its says in the Source that the Chaka system is used by the SANDF!!

And the other photos i posted are also of SANDF equipment!! You can clearly see SAAF personal using the system!!
You posted a whole air force control room of many kinds of equipment that has NOTHING to do with Chaka c2.

The main purpose of Chaka C2 that we are debating about is AMANI II armies exercise of the AU, did you put a whole air force control room including air traffic control equipment into one MRAP and carried it to the battlefield?

The Chaka C2 in question is the brigade level vehicle mobile unit used for AMANI exercise.....

1) were the pictures you posted from SADF?

2)can you differentiate between Chaka and Battle tek?

Is that what they say Nigerian army Generals are coming to learn? Have they seen Nigerian army generals doing C2 with the massive network of computers on Nigerian ATR-42 Surveyor and Beechcraft 350ER ? Nothing is SANDF can match our C2 equipment and battlefield surveillance, command and control capabilities, Nigeria leads the whole of Africa in that area of war capability and advanced technology.

You tried to deceive us by clearly posting a photo shopped pic of the Cobra.

There's also no edited Corbra pic on Proforce site so its clear as daylight who posted it.

I said from my first post that is is built by proforce, I dont own the photo, its copied directly from proforce website

Nigeria does not posses the capabilities required for net-centric warfare (confirmed by you), SANDF does.

Simple as that
Definition of C2 does NOT include datalink. C2 is simple as ABC, commands by a commander communicated to troops under his control.

C2 is simply command and control, buy you guys try to make it look like a nuclear weapon.

Datalink is not C2, it is data sharing among connected receivers. It does not see the battlefield. Modern C2 involves seeing the battle space real-time and Nigeria has that capacity. DHQ watched and commanded operations live video real time relayed to C2 in Abuja during the final offensive on Sambisa forest. We posted that report here early this year.

Show us the C2 equipment that SANDF has which Nigeria does not have.
