Combat suites on our frigates are neither defective nor obsolete.

Fact is that we operate 4 Modern Frigates and 3 Modern subs.
You have 4 frigates and 3 subs but can only operate one for combat at a time due to shortage of full manpower to man all on-board stations.

Combat suite of all Valour frigates are both defective and obsolete. PROVED many times before. Recap :

1. 1990s navionics

2. Shortage of anti-ship missiles, only 2 ships can fully arm

3. ZERO torpedoes, your expensive warships have ZERO torpedoes....Germany ripped you off with empty torpedo tubes.

4. 1970s main gun, the 76mm main gun was taken from scrap yard and repainted for Valour frigate, gun is not stealth, it ruins the ship's stealth capability and makes it more visible. Fools, you put a 1970s abandoned old gun on a brand new stealth ship....nation of fools grin grin

Fact: South-African Navy has no modern OPVs. Come back to us when you have one.
They even have no OPV in reality, their 58m Warrior strike crafts are IPV or at best MPV, Helmod Heitman said 60m is an IPV for SAN.

Nigeria has all those 58m gun boats, we call them MPV....NNS Siri and co

1. We commissioned 4 Frigates and 3 Subs in the same time frame!!!
2. 4 Frigates, 3 Subs!!
3. 1 Warrior class armed with missiles= bye bye most of the NN
4. Never was there a Project Biro ever in any day of the NNs existence.
1. Nope, not in one day, you commissioned 4 frigates and 3 subs over a period of about 5 years, but Nigeria commissioned 4 ships in one day.

2. You have crew to fully man only one frigate and one submarine, the rest are short of qualified sailors to man all stations on board ship

3. Warrior class missiles have been deleted years ago, it's now a freaking gunboat, NNS Centenary will use it for target practice.

4. Every year is a Project Biro reality for Nigeria, this year 2015 alone, another stealth OPV, MPV, many IPVs, tug boats etc coming

In your picture the Ship is firing a missile - so they are obviously fighting in those conditions

Angola did not call you, you found the pirates inside YOUR waters

You dont have a blue water navy - South Africa does (4 Frigates, 3 submarines, Maritime replenishment vessel). You dont even have a navy - you have a coast guard!!
Bwhahaha grin grin Your Warrior strike craft have NO missiles anymore ! They were removed years ago and dumped !

Now it's only a gunboat, and with the sea waves shaking your fake OPV to dance water makossa, your gunners cannot fire a gun that is tumbling and rolling about on the waves.

Your Frigate is not an OPV, your submarine is not an OPV, why did you not send Mandela's submarine to answer distress call from Angola?

SAN is OPV dead.....Angola hates your uselessness grin grin

O, I see, you said "based on current conditions"... well guess what, our Frigates have longer range, carry better sensors and have operational helos... and we have a re-supply vessel that extends their range... so we still win in AP duties grin grin grin

Go back to bragging about your 44 year old fleet of Coast Guard worthy vessels grin grin grin

South African navy's fake OPV drowning half way at sea....sailors cannot even fight in this condition, they are actually fighting to survive the huge sea waves every hour....can't operate their guns.....dead SAN....OPV dead....Angola hates to call the so called blue water Soweto navy for help, they call on Nigerian navy for action.....so who has a functioning blue water navy based on current threats in Africa today? Nigeria !

South African sailors are tough, they can handle it!! They have been for the last 30 years!

Post your evidence mate!!

Secondly receiving a few patrol boats and tugs doesn't = Project Biro! Otherwise I could say the same for us!
1. Nigeria commissioned 4 warships in one day, show me which African country does that. South Africa can only dream of such in year 2080.

2. few boats and tugs? Nope, NNS Centenary is a light frigate size stealth OPV, NNS Okpabana is a frigate size OPV with longest range in Africa.

3. South African navy fake Warrior Strike OPVs are half sinking inside heavy waves of the sea, sailors half drunk with sea water grin grin

4. Everyday is a live Project Biro reality in Nigeria !

Hahahahahah!!

NOPE ! It's South African navy getting wrecked on offshore patrol !

SAN Warrior class boats patrol and drink sea water almost sinking in the waves that could swallow them, that is the point defenceweb is complaining about you fool !

Your Soweto sailors are daily vomiting their intestines out with sea sickness during patrol in Mozambique

Angola never bothers to call your Soweto navy for deep sea help, they call Nigeria to save SADC members.

SAN has NO OPV today, your strike crafts are NOT OPV ! That is confirmed by South African expert Heitman....

60m is the length for the IPV's

OPV's will be 90m

And we have force projection with the Valour Class and Heroin Class

Well done on:

1. Fraudulently mis-quoting the article
2. Presenting misleading facts
3. Not knowing the difference between an IPV and OPV

Yet again, you express your disingenuouse and fraudulent tendencies

I guess our new fleet of IPV's and OPV's is causing augubug much anxiety

My post was about the current SAN Warrior strike craft....your reply is not even related to my comment....you drunk with mkwomboti beer ?

"Heitman says : Remember how many strike crafts found themselves inadvertently doing a submarine crash dive imitation in rough seas."

Today, South Africa has no OPV....your strike craft sailors are forced to drink salt water from high waves when they try going deep into sea, that is why Angola never bothers to call you for help.....useless navy.

I thought you said your submarines will be catching pirates this 2015 in Gulf of Guinea up to Nigerian waters....FRAUDSTER !

SAN has ZERO force projection beyond homeland waters with Warrior strike craft tongue tongue[/size]

I was only going with a flow by responding to someone who suggested that BH was defeated through the use of Hind.

I responded by saying that such a claim is flawed since SA mercenaries were used to fly those very same Hinds. If then BH was defeated, in extension it will mean mercenaries defeated BH and that remains a fact.
NAF has been flying Mi-35 P since 7 years ago in combat Niger Delta and North East...7 years before Barlow came to drive MRAPs.

Nobody in Africa flies the Mi-35 M Hind E version, it is state of the art computerization and training is only available in Russia, only NAF pilots can fly that latest version of Hind.

Unqualified pilots don't fly the aircraft they are not qualified and trained specifically to fly, else they crash and die.

Tired of repeating same old argument....logging out.

Barlow is undoubtedly your Messiah that saved you from the land of Pharaoh. I know that you won't admit it just like you denied it the very first day we brought this issue that SA mercenaries who fought in Iraq have now been contracted in Nigeria. Your fellow Nigerians denied flat that there were no even a single South African mercenary in Nigeria until it was confirmed by your president himself out of the pressure of the media both in Nigeria and international. I know that denying the facts is part of the DNA of Nigerians

Eben Barlow calls you a big liar again on his own webpage official publication :

"STTEP has claimed the credit for Boko Haram’s losses: Unlike those who make false claims, STTEP will NEVER take credit for something it didn’t do. This pithy comment is merely aimed at trying to discredit the Nigerian Army and attempt to create antagonism between the NA and the company."

Operating from bases in the bush they attacked your towns

That is why your first major offensives in 2013 focused on Sambisa forest - where their main bases are.

Nigerian COIN Brigade did not take part in the fighting
LOL....SA mercenaries did not take part in the fight.

No single citation in your posts, your personal opinion does not count....start from year 2009....that's when the war started in Maiduguri city not bush or Sambisa. Even in 2013-2014 many Bokos came from Chad, Niger, Cameroon across borders, their camps were outside Nigeria. Many others in city terror cells, sleeper and active cells.

Next time, don't open your ignorant mouth and say Boko Haram started in Sambisa forest, the war was majorly in Maduguri city and other towns for many years 2009 till 2015
