The last time just long ago when we had a school trip to visit one of the automobile plants, they have taught us that there are two plants, the manufacturing and assembly plant. Once components are manufactured, they are conveyed to the assembly plant for the finish product. Unlike in other countries which normally do not have or produce necessary minerals needed to manufacture parts and components, they all have to receive finished products abroad.
