It was Nigerians that marketed themselves to the world as drug dealers. A lot of us love to abuse the nation without making any significant contribution to it. Outsiders see how the people have no regards for the nation. If we didn't treat our nation so poorly, none of this would happen. Also, Africa really needs to stop this tribal hate we have for each other. This Ghana, South Africa and Nigeria beef would be better channelled into science and societal development race. We should challenge ourselves to be better nations, not have pointless arguments online. The same Caucasians most of us are trying to impress sees all of us as one backwater continent. Some even think Nigeria is the capital of Africa.

Say the truth, the protest was a scam. The real organizers didn't even come out to protest or direct their people. In my state, the organizers used it to collect money from the government, and those who came out to protest were chased home. What does looting have to do with a protest? All these fancy con artists in suits we call lawyers have not made a positive impact on Nigeria. The most annoying thing about this protest is the people are being organized by people who don't care about them. They can't send themselves or their loved ones to the protest line, but will be rallying others to do so, so they can take glory for what others used blood to accomplished.

So many toxic people on this forum. Just because you can't benefit some something, you condemn it. The students receiving the 20k did not complain. School fees are taken care of. Extra 20k on top, their parents or legal guardians can easily add foodstuffs or something to support them. We need to remove hatred from our hearts. By right all four main candidates in the last election should be in court explaining how they have been stealing public funds since the first day Nigeria switched to democratic process. But their tribal people won't agree to that because instead of electing people with brain, we are doing which tribe has ruled Nigeria the most. All regions in Nigeria are tribalist and all are after their own interests, not the interests of Nigeria.

All the money spent on unnecessary election court cases since the first day of democracy in Nigeria would have been better spent on development of the country, not development of the stomach of corrupt lawyers and judges.

All government top personnel funding should be cut by 50%. Use that money to subsidize the agricultural sector and encourage farming in every state. It's not to be drinking four cousins, eating all exotic meat part known to man, carrying permanent pregnancy, moving from hotels to hotels, carrying overpriced hookers. We should hold every person in office by their balls, rub loco on it and squeeze it. Let them rub mad and feel the heat.

After all this fighting, everyone would go home and face the reality of life. From the looks of things, if Nigeria separate, there would be countless wars between the separated nations.

If he loves his people, then cut all state head personnel funding by 50%. Most state governors are doing absolutely nothing. Many Commissioners don't even have anything substantial to do. Everything starts and ends at the Governor's office.

Whatever hardship he sees there, he doesn't mind. Ask the average Nigerians, you would see some don't mind sleeping on the road of usa, as long as they can say I'm in usa. If you like, give them an essay on how bad usa or uk is, they will still prefer it. Even our leaders do not see the Nigeria as good. Hence, they send their children there to learn.
