Do you have a mentor??

If you don't have a mentor, try and find one for yourself, study his or her life right from birth and walk in his path.

After identifying all that made him rich, then discover your own way and give it double effort.

You are sure to achieve your goal within the stipulated time, even shorter.

But the question is can you do what the rich men has done with double efforts??

Think hard on this.
How many billionaire mentors are there in nigeria or the world in particular? see advice. So now billionaires dey wey dey mentor people grin grin grin grin grin

Look at this abominable thwart or rather unreasonable adult!

Can't you get it into your head that the legislative supersedes CBN,apart from that there is no any injunction from the judicial that Islamic Banking can be operated in the country.

Mofo!

Your ideology sucks just like your religion!
The CBN has delegated power to set policies.

And your point is? I'm lost.

Please we are talking about banking not g/ay marriage, besides, same sex marriage wasn't enacted, though it wasn't explicitly said, it was constituted as part of part of the three fundamental rights as defined by the constitution (Right to the pursuit of happiness) where in rights to marry is guaranteed under the equal protection clause; part of the 14th Amendment part to the U.S.C. On that note, I don't know how many laws you are referring that allowed same sex marriage; however, I do know about laws where the g/ay rights activist claim to be treated as same; equal benefits as heterosexuals. Benefits include adoption, Will and real estate, social status, job discrimination, et al.
What I'm saying is everybody has a right to operate a bank provided it doesn't go against the laws of the land.

it is unimportant issue like these that the christians over react to and cause unnecessary religious tensions in this country. is Nigeria the only country with christian and Muslims?

there are other banks, and some people decide to operate a bank based on their religious beliefs which is not against the constitution and you want to person to change the name to suite your taste while you are not compelled by law to bank (save or borrow) with them.

You make it seem as if there are no islamic schools in Nigeria. Even in Lagos, many!. Is Jos a state of the islamic north?
For me, as long as it holds some benefits to the people and not an avenue to move terrorist money, the system is ok. To be candid, Since the other set of Nigeria does not agree with the term used, why not scrap it alltogether. Except it will be funded and managed by moslems alone and gets nothing to do with the FG. The names of schools you mentioned are private owned and not public. Why does a section of the country always want to push down its way unto others. Just like sharia, Boko Haram, the islamic signs on the nation's bank notes, just to mention a few.
Is the bank being established by the FG?
is it not privately owned? with all the privatisation hype is FG now trying to establish a moslem bank?
Government Christian Secondary School, Omu-Aran is privately owned?

Hmmm something is really fishy about this whole mess; will Sanusi be able bear the grunt of all this mess?

Anyway, we can bicker as much as we want, Sanusi is bent on doing as he wish; very unfortunate. I cannot wait to see how this so-called banking will turn out. All those claiming U.S. has Islamic Banking, no doubt that it does but I don't recall the Federal Reserve Bank Chairman championing such banking. In addition, please let me know what chairman of the reserve bank said Islamic Bank "MUST BE" Sharia compliant. I'm really anxious to see such.

OK dude you just sounded like an ignorant, please if u have no clue about banking and interest rate, please stop. A 25% Annual Percentage Interest Rate, while I do support it is a norm for "high risk" loans; that's an average of 2.08% monthly rate. That's what an average business with an average rating in the U.S. pay on their Credit Card debt balance. Talking about profit, it's a standard business norm for businesses not to make profit for the next three years they started business; they can cover pretty much all expense but certainly NOT profit. If Sanusi is really concerned about Interest Rate, that is why he is the CBN governor, let him reduce inject money into the system, that will reduce interest rate. Anyway I'm not on here to lecture anyone.
The money spent educating some people is just a waste.

write a book "How To Become A Billionaire at 36" and organise a seminar in all the 700+ LGA's for free but just tell them they have to pay compulsory N5,000 for seminar materials only. Make sure your fragment the book into at least 5 books not 1book with 5 chapters.

also come on and advertise your book on nairaland, other naija forums, blogs, etc, don't forget to create multiple ID to order for the books and testify of the effectiveness of the book in changing your life.

before you clock 30yrs you are already a billionaire.

The way all this hypocritical christians are going about islamic banking, if just half of this energy was put into fighting corruption nigeria would have been a better place.

how does the name "islamic bank" infringe your right.

there a so many primary, secondary schools and even higher institutions tagged as christain schools
yet the country has not burned down.

a group of people come up with what they like which doesn't infringe on others and the criminal MOGs are diverting all attention there.

Does your christian schools employ moslems.

Christians are the biggest hypocrites. What is your fear with islamic banking. catholic schools force all students to attend mass whether you are catholic or not, if you attend their school.

and the country has not collapsed.

Lazy idiots should stop insulting the ND people, what we want to do is to kill as many of them as possible in the south, repatriate the remainder back to their country and defend our territory. If you foolish southerners here talking rubbish in the north don't want to relocate back home, they will use you for suya there by the time we start killing them. As for the war we are very confident that we will win the war any time against northerners. We have the resources to deal with them. It is lack of fund that is causing their cease fire not Ramadan, if they have respect for Alah they should not have killed Islamic clerics and burn churches. They want to use these period to source for fund but as for us, we don't look for money, it is money that look for us because the black oil is readily available to us. It just like a cult war, if your group has a war with another group, whether you are aware or not you are a target. If we start killing them here, if you don't leave their land they will kill you tool. It will not disturb us because you were giving enough time to relocate.

[Thank you Delafruita,

I suppose governance is about solving peoples problems. Glad you know the problem preceeded ABAT and BRF. Also, glad you know the flooding was due to heavy rainfall , and poor drainage atleast the last flooding was. My point was between the two ABAT and BRF, ACN have been in power in Lagos state for 12 years. Do we conclude ACN lack the innovation and the will to solve the problem considering the huge resources they collect. You guys can continue to give them excuses but it will not last forever.
Planting flowers does improve the life of an average Lagosian compared to having a traffic free good road, floodless raining season, decent and affordable accommodation. I want to believe that if a relative of yours got drowned in the flood, you would have held the Lagos state government responsible and not excuse them.

In the 70-80s period we had tap running all over PHC,
there was constant power,
School was competitive
Graduate grades reflected ability of the students and were employed by MNCs no need of 5yrs post graduate experience,
People left shell job for civil service.
No fuel queues.
No lecturer forced students to purchase handouts (now converted textbooks)
No illegal check points to collection money by any force
crooks were not honoured everywhere (church, community, resident localities, etc).
just can't list all

N1 = 1pound = $2

level 1 salary for First School leavers = N120

1990s

1pound = $2(approximately) = N100 thanks to SAP 1000% increase
Level 1 worker salary = N350 less than = less than 300% increase

Start of poverty and entrenchment of corruption, to make ends meet.
