someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Oga did you read the article before you commented.

Rgp92:
Tokyo, Japan (CNN) -- Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan, whose approval rating tumbled following the devastating March earthquake and tsunami, announced his resignation Friday.
Kan announced he is stepping down as party leader during a meeting with members of the ruling Democratic Party of Japan. The party will elect a new leader next week, who will take over as prime minister.
The resignation fulfills his promise to step down after parliament approved two pieces of legislation, including one related to post-earthquake reconstruction.
"I will put my words into action once those two bills are approved," Kan said this month at a Lower House committee session.
Kan believes the two bills -- the deficit-financing bond bill and the new energy promotion bill -- will push forward his reconstruction policies.
The bills passed Friday.
Kan has been under pressure to resign since the March 11 earthquake and tsunami and subsequent nuclear crisis in the nation. The disaster triggered the worst nuclear crisis since Chernobyl, as cores overheated and spewed radioactive material into surrounding areas.
Soon after the disaster, ratings agency Moody's put the country debt under review for a possible downgrade, as political infighting undermined measures to fix the budget deficit. Moody's officially downgraded Japan's credit on Wednesday, citing its unstable politics
In June, the embattled leader narrowly escaped a vote of no confidence in parliament.
As many as nine candidates, including Finance Minister Yoshihiko Noda and former foreign minister, Seiji Maehara, are considered possible contenders for the post of prime minister.
Kan's resignation allows him to remain in office until the ruling party elects its new leader, a move scheduled for Monday.
A day later, parliament will vote in the new leader as prime minister, the sixth premier for the nation in five years.
Japan's next prime minister will inherit a series of problems, including soaring debt, nuclear woes, a shrinking population and a nation struggling to rebuild after the devastating earthquake and tsunami.

he resigned because his approval rating was going down, not like your sit-tight criminals, who want to rule forever.

When will you people stop blaming incompetence and maladministration on political opponents?. The last time you blamed Buhari for registering under aged voters as if he was in charge of INEC, you blamed him for govt. inability to rein in post election rioters as if he was the commander in chief or in charge of any security agencies. If Buhari is guilty of any crime or a problem in anyway, we have a C-in-C who should do his job and arrest him and prosecute him. Better tell your GRIDLOCK that governance is not a tea party. He should be more serious and stop this funny habit of passing the reason for his incompetence on perceived enemies. A supposedly educated Ayo Oritsejafor was also saying something similar the other day. We are sick and tired of all of these. Goodluck has taken Mr. president to where it can take him. He needs more than good luck now to deliver.
IF YOU LIKE CRY BLOOD HIM DON SIDDON, WETHER NA SIDDON LOOK PRESIDO HIM DON SIDDON AND NOTHING YOU OR ANY OF YOUR CRIMINAL GROUP GO DO ABOUT IT.

Don't mind the yoriba peoples, who insult other peoples parents and cry fowl whenever somebody insult their peoples.  They are the problem of Nigeria.

everybody knows Idiagbon was the man in charge not buhari.  That's why they killed General Idiagbon, so that he can not come and sweep all of them away as the upright people were already calling him to come and contest presidency in 1999.

This is why you used to hear about parents in the village marrying wives for their sons in the township or abroad even without the guy's knowledge and the woman is shipped to him afterwards. This is also why you to hear about a girl coming home from the farm or school one day to meet the new in-laws paying bride-price to her father, meanwhile she has not even set eyes before on the man that is supposed to be her husband.
You talk like a fool, I didnt tell you to praise NCC for the cheap china phones flooding Nigeria and other developing countries. And I didnt say Alex Ndukwe is a saint, all am saying is that I praise people who are praise worthy. If you know any government official from your own tribe or race that has done better than Alex Ndukwe please tell ushuh Till date OBJ still remains Nigeria's best president and i have dozens of facts to back up my claim, now i am not a yoruba man, If praising someone who has done wonderfully well in Nigeria will qualify me as a tribalist then thats your own headache and you can as well hug a bleeping transformer.

Since you need some lectures let me break it down for you. Before Alex Ndukwe became NCC chairman, statistics showed that Nigeria with a population of about 120 million then relied on about 450,000 telephone lines which included landlines and cellular for communications. According to statistical records, the level of investment in the telecoms sector then was about $50m.

But the story is absolutely different today. With over 90 million lines, and still growing, industry players concede that the level of investments in the telecoms sector now runs into several billions of dollars. It is also on record that Nigeria has the second fastest growing telecom sector in the world for so many years now,

Before Alex Ndukwe came into the picture mobile phones are for the rich only and it used to cost a fortune to make local/international calls but we all know the story is different today. Today international calls are as low as 10 naira per minute for Glo, Visaphone etc,

Now am not silly, I believe with over 150 million people, there is huge potential for more growth in the sector so as to take service to the unconnected, particularly in the rural areas. Call quality needs to improve as well. My dear if you must criticize try to be constructive. I believe in constructive criticism,
this useless igbos will never let us rest with their mumurity. so it was Ndukwe that spearheaded the granting of GSM licenses abi?

I ask our HR when i was still working in naija about the pension thing, the respond was your pension is being deposited every months. ok, i check IBTC, and saw that last 3 months was missing, ask IBTC where is the last 3 months, IBTC say my company has not remit the contribution, what angry angry angry i called HR, bla bla bla, what happen,  excuse excuse excuse, and i was why is it not there, bros, a week after i sensitise my co workers and aluta is at hand, HR deposited my money sharp sharp. just make sure you call your Pension fund admin and monitor your contribution or else, someone is using the money somewhere else and later pay back after if ever.
Same thing happened to me, worked for about 1yr 7months cash was deducted on a monthly basis. But at the end of the day nothing was in my account. Called the company, and complained after sometime they stopped picking my calls. A friend advised me to complain to CONSUMER PROTECTION COUNCIL, CPC called them Pension company said they will resolve the issue, back and forth, back and forth, at the end of the day nothing. Now another ARM Pensions took over the company with my empty account and  have been bombarding my phone with SMS  cry cry cry cry cry

Conclusion no kobo was deposited in my account even though the amount was deducted. This was done by the No1 German construction company operating in Nigeria.

This is not only true but worrisome.
I encounter them everyday at work.
I once had an IT student attached to my office, i took her to the field one day and asked her to read for me the pH of the effluent water going into the sea.
She said, Oga, what is this pH,pH i have been seeing everywhere now?. i said she must answer her own question being a year 3 student of industrial physics. She could not. I asked her if she ever passed O'level chemistry, she answered yes. I told her i'm surprised how she passed through secondary school chemistry without hearing the word pH.
She once lost her ID card and i had to sign her in every morning for some days. Someone called to say he found her ID card and i shouted EUREKA. my student said Oga, what is EUREKA again. I said today you must tell me being an industrial physics student in year 3. She could not.
I ask her what is Achimedes principle, She doesnt know, i cry for Nigeria that day and pleaded with her to be honest with me, How have you been making it in school?. Then the bomb shell. No matter how brilliant you are in her school, you've got to "SORT". In her own case, she confessed, "i sleep some and pay some", "but coming to work in this company, i realise i'm empty". and she started crying.
This is the situation we found ourselves in as a country, i have so many similar stories from colleagues as well and my friend working with NYSC will not let me rest with stories of graduates who can not fill forms.
Lest i forget, my IT student is from a state university in the SE where major cities are notorious for heaps of garbbage.
true, watch them come and defend themselves on this forum. This is the end result of depending on paper qualification and man-no-man.
