You know, your situation made me remember a sermon my pastor preached sometimes ago. Some people are carrying a load that is not theirs. You have not even met her, she might be lying so as to scare you away. If it is true, she may later dissapoint you or maybe she needs someone who can help her with the responsibility of catering for her and her unborn kid.
Another way I can view this is- what if her parents hasn't found out about the unborn bastard and needs someone to present as the father when asked. Why would the guy deny it? Sometimes you need to by pass protocols. Force yourself and try new things. You can start being emotional later when she is a sure asset. Love doesn't come like that all the time.

@op what I think you should do is simple and works many times. When you have found the one you love, don't show her how much you love her, sometimes try the i dont care attitude, don't spend too much and don't whisper alot to her ears, don't call all the time, give some space but don't be too far or forward. Some ladies just exploit a caring guy. And also take time to know her type of person instead of taking time to take her on special treats,
If you really need this, disguise like a nothing and then you might get to know who loves you for who you are and not what you are. Hope i have helped a little?
