Eloquence and Intelligence are not the same thing. Just because someone doesn't 'sound' smart doesn't necessarily mean that the person is dumb. There are some eloquent people also who speak really well but aren't that smart.
I agree with you 100%. The other day I was interacting with a Chinese dude and his English was off putting. Then we got down to discussing figures and projections. That Chinese man left me dizzy and I consider myself intelligent. Very intelligent

If true Apple still won.

Apple stood up to the combined power of the United States.

If it was a Google product it will be easily hacked and they won't even need a lawsuit.
I supported Apple on this one but this is not a case of "If true..." The Feds have withdrawn their case against Apple. And believe me if you have the know how, you can achieve the same level of lock down on Android. Well not exactly the same as Apple incorporates hardware into its encryption, but with a superlong alphanumeric password, you can keep the Feds busy for a lifetime if you encrypt your Android phone

That's why you should always upgrade your ios and iPhone. The dead man's device was an iPhone 5s running ios 9.0, which has bugs already fixed multiple times in updates with iosios 9.1, 9.2, 9.2.1, and so on. The current version of the ios is 9.3 which has been updated to 9.3.1 on the 31st of March 2016. This includes multiple security fixes, hence the non availability of cydia to hack it for now.
Emphasis is on "for now". And I'm sure Apple hasn't popularised the fact that the other versions are hackable. 9.3.1 will eventually be broken into. Talking about upgrade though. I upgraded my 5s to 9.2.1 and battery life collapsed. Could hardly give me 18hrs when I could get a day plus on 8.4. So as I am now I'm not sure I wanna upgrade

I used to ask myself this same question until I joined the apple family then I realized that I have been missing a lot.
What are you missing?
You are missing a phone that will never hang irrespective of numerous apps you are opening, you are missing a phone that has a second hand value( for me, this work in such a way that I upgrade my phone with the old one to the latest)
You are missing a phone that will give you a peace of mind. You won't have to be scare of waking up one day and your phone won't.
You are missing quality of applications that apple product offers to her client comparing IOS platform with android. iOS apps are more superb than the latter.
You are missing the most secured phone. You don't have to worry yourself about your data getting hacked either using Bluetooth or other means which are more common to the opposite .
The FBI just withdrew it's suit against Apple Inc. after successfully hacking an encrypted iPhone

Hello sir,

My name is Olatayo Samuel. I'm HND2 student of Purchasing and Supply (better called Procurement and Supply Chain Management) in The Polytechnic, Ibadan. I came across this thread a couple of years ago, and I must say; the thread has been a tremendous help to me. The thread has given me a fore knowledge of what to expect when I eventually get into the field.

That said sir, I learnt while perusing through the thread that you are an alumnus of my school; The polytechnic Ibadan. I am so happy that I can find an alumnus in my school who has done wonderfully well as far as this profession is concerned.

Sir, as a-soon-to-be graduate with much book knowledge and with little or no practical knowledge on this profession, I would like you to advise me on the rightful step to take after my graduation. Succinctly put sir, I want you to be my mentor.

08134407874 is my mobile phone number and Olatayo.samuel@yahoo.com is my e-mail address

I have sent you a PM already sir.

I shall be waiting to hear from you soon. Thanks.
Get ur hands dirty bro. Look for a warehouse or a manufacturing company and get dirty. There's a shortage of SAN professionals and while your first degree might open doors, u r in competition with guys from numerate disciplines predominantly engineering. So just get dirty and get experience

PrinzOfParis... Irrespective of where you got your figures from, you just help to put clarity (or at least something to hold on to) on the process. I'm a bit sceptical about only 700 making AC but then again u said to take the figures with a pinch of salt. What I'd like to know is at what point did they scale back the numbers to ⅔ of the original figure? (Again no one should quote me that I am taking his figures as Holy grail but I like to work with specifics and he has given me a play tool by mentioning exact figures)

Then over to the current raging war. Aphrodite4 is some one I do not know but have, shall we say, strong emotions for. Remember how Eminem made Dido or how Jay-Z made Mr Hudson blow? I engaged her in "battle" on one question dropped here pre-SHL (might have been pre-WAEC I don't remember exactly) and we brawled until she saw reason with me and backed down acknowledging my solution was correct. Na from that day I get small credibility on this thread. And she earned my respect. So anytime I see a comment from her I'm always interested in reading it. She seems to have a very strong and forceful personality given her comments but I don't think she meant to insult. The drawn out nature of this thing is bound to make us snap at some point.

Fork and kaitung, you guys shouldn't take it P.

Then sombori said LadyF is taken. Taken by whom? To where? grin I hope that person knows that ayam a former boxer cum wrestler now fighting Boko Haram in d northeast. Taken faya. Unless you mean taken by NLNG.

It is really a pity how the table has drastically turned. A once great company that achieved enviable feats when the expatriates were still in control. All that has been rubbished by the bureaucracy and non-chalant attitudes of the present Nigerian executives.

I do not see any justifiable reason for keeping people waiting for almost 3years, and in the end take only 1 in 12 of those who have met all set criteria in the next 4 months, and additional 1 in 11, subject to favourable business outlook in the next 7 months.

All we hear is how great the company is. We are just living in past glory i must confess.

It was once a great company, yes it was. I can't say same about today. We think we are OK at the moment as a company, but if we tell ourselves the truth, the world is drastically changing ...countries of same resources are planning ahead... I pray we don't get pushed to the shadows in a few years time.
I'm compelled to step out of self imposed ghostmode. Your above thesis reminds me of the once great Delta Steel Company Aladja Delta State. At a point in its history it was the biggest thing in what is today called the South South. People quit Shell to work for DSC. Like NLNG they had a massive RA called Steel Towns (a mini Nigeria one street was called Vandekya!) which we called "township" in local parlance. The steel manufacturing plant I never got to see but I think it was. 24 hour operation. At its height DSC was like all those cities you see abroad. Roads swept, bins emptied, lawns manicured, electricity and water were a given. Then came a series of tumultuous planless leadership. And DSC failed. Woefully. Staff went unpaid for years. Today that massive company is a useless piece of real estate. And for some weird reason when I see pictures of NLNG IA and RA memories of DSC flash through my mind. And that feeling isn't right. But for as long as I live, I am #MadeOfSteel

My guy, in my own candid opinion, the reason for this delay is beyond oil price. Some things may just not be right with them in-house. Hence, even if oil price hits $100 today, I don't think it would change anything. Please Nlng, resolve whatever issues you have and free us from this wait. Make una no use una reggae spoil our blues. Airsaylong my guy congrats.
Thank you my guy. Regarding the oil price there's a lag between what oil sells for today and what nlng will sell its products for. Their products are priced by averaging the price of benchmark crude for the preceding 6 months. So even if Ìjẹ̀bú garri spirit takes over crude oil today, NLNG no dey feel shishi in their pricing
