bigcee:Apparently you just came back from that queue. Why fight for somebody who does not know you exist. Someone stated somewhere here that it's people on that queue that come online to defend or talk for Davido. |
[quote author=ANGELMARVE post=72845547] Africa which way!!!!!! This is embarrassing and shameful. This is will never happen in Europe or America. As rich as Michael Jackson was and as rich as Jayz or Beyonce is, You will never find Americans begging them for money. I am ashamed of some people in Nigeria.[/quote Please don't say that. I live in the US and there are countless people vegging for money on the streets, usually by the traffic light. When I drive down to downturn during late nights there are locations with lots of people sleeping in the streets. Only difference is the proportion and that people would queue up in front of your house because there are communities bylaws against it. There is poverty everywhere but it boils down to proportion of total population. Saying you are ashamed because of otger people situation reflect your way if thinking. Your feeling ashamed won't change anything. Feeling angry at such situation is a better option because it may force you to do something. |
Pr0cter:Most politicians that embezzled money are not easily accessible. You will rather meet a defence line of security, or getting to the location off their abode isn t economically or physically possible. |
okwabayi:I don't agree totally with your points. In Nigeria's case, poverty is forced on the masses by the elites. Apart from being a lack of material wealth, poverty also eat into the mind of most poor people. That's why most poor people will collect N5k, which is N3.5 per day for 4 years, to vote for a corrupt politician rather than one who would likely influence lives positively but who doesn't give out money or any material thing. Saying people are poor because they are likely wicked or whatever your statement meant sound "elitist". We all know how the country get to this situation. When I was much younger, it's only professional beggers from the north that usually queue in front of a rich man house, often every Thursday morning only. It's the elites who are wicked. Most of the poor masses are simply stupid by choice. Because they still have their will power to make right a choice during election period which cost them nothing, but maybe a lot of hours under the sun to collect their PVC or cast their vote. To show you how wicked Nigerian political elites are, potential voters are deliberately robbed of their right to vote because they made the process of PVC collection hell in many places, and many would simply stay away. |
Lazy youths according to Buhari. They will rather do this than vote in the right leaders; or even fight against their evil elites which probably include the father or uncles of the people they are queuing to collect money from. Nigerian elites like it when people come beg from them for handout. It grease their evil ego. Rather than continue to give them money I would tell them to go and vote for the right candidates. Begging won't get them anywhere. |
E Ino go better for Nigeria political elites down to their fourth generation . |
I am sure Atiku is one of their Nigerian customers. |
troublemakea:Simply move out and find accommodation elsewhere. I suspect they would sense you are the one that tipped EFCC Since you have once reported them to the landlord. Don't trust any Nigerian security agency or govt agency. They will sell you out. Those boys could be dangerous. I remember days at the University of Ibadan in early 90s, a Buccaneer cult don was arrested by security operatives in his room on campus because one of his boys was selling and smoking marijuana in the room in a block that house hall "ministers". After he was released we were tipped off that they had a mission one particular night. I and my pal who had a bedspace used to share a room with him and another of his boy that own the bedspace. At first me and my pal were forced to move to next room. Long story short, we were informed he assumed I was the one that tipped off school security. His reason was likely based on the fact that I never gave him a face and often he would come to me asking to borrow my wears, and my response was always No. We learnt he was going over names of all students that lived in that block. What saved me was that someone who was there told him that there was no way I would sell him out because of marijuana simply because I was a resident of Lagos Island where people openly smoke hemp, and it wouldn't be big deal to me. That person also tipped us off on his return from jail and we did not sleep in our room that night. We eventually moved out of that block. Those were years I almost regretted attending a university. Cult boys were always on rampage. Same years Omoyele Sowore was attacked by cultists at UNILAG when he was student union president, and when one U-Ibadan SU president was found with cultist paraphernalia and he was dethroned because he was suspected as cult member. You won'tbelieve that the afternoon they came to arrest him he passed a gun to my pal in the next room over the balcony while security officials wait in front of his room. Thank God I was not the one in the room when they came for him. Me, take a gun from someone and keep in my room? Impossible, the sight of the gun alone will turn my legs to "jelly". So, pal, avoid potential wahala if you can. Most Yahoo boys belong to a cult. Sorry for long story. Just putting things in context. |
Nothing but the best. Even my father that does not like material things owned one in the 70s and 80s, and would not stop talking about Benz. I used to own one, and even now that I drive another model, in my mind it's like I am noth really driving a car except I go back to Benz. Did someone say Benz is not a luxury car? The person need to first understand that definition luxury car". He probably cant afford one. Sorry to say. Comparing Hyundai and Mazda models to Benz. Really? And the person that said there is a new fever for Benz in Nigeria, I can imagine the generation you belong to. Benz have always been a top luxury vehicle in Nigeria. Back in the days, 70s to 90s, Volvo was a top competitor against Benz in Nigeria, meaning if you are really up there back in those days, if you don't buy Benz, then you buy a Volvo. And another person listed Dodge. American cars are not built to measure up to German-made cars. |
bilms:Here are the facts based in my observations. -Successfully registered a newly formed political party within 6 months of coming on the scene. -Successfully traveled to 30-32 states within 5 months on grassroots campaign and firsthand familiarisation tour. -Successfully held over 100 town hall meetings.in 30 different states of the federation. -Held town hall meetings in multiple foreign countries and cities which was locally organized by Nigerians in diaspora with a rule of minimum of 200 local participants for him to accept the invitation to visit. These include far location like Australia. -First Nigeria to fund presidential election campaign via crowd-funding on GoFundMe, and local Nigeria bank account where Nigerian donates fund. He has transparently raised more than N60 million through these avenues with all names of donor announced on social media with thank you messages. -Successfully raised funds via multiple fund-raising dinners in most foreign cities he visited. For example, he raised N5 - N6 million in Australia alone just about a week ago -Successfully held party primaries without any drama and stories of cross-carpeting among party candidates. -Held so many media interviews including one where he faced current minister of communication whom he told "you won't be laughing this time next year" and just few months after Mr Adebayo Shittu,, the minister of communication is surely not in laughing mood and would very likely loose his ministerial position and all political aspirations and his political career because it was revealed that he never did NYSC. - And he successfully "navigated" and avoided political suicide by not participating in PACT, which was deliberately set up by old school political parties in collaboration with some new aspiration in order to target few aspirants like Sowore and Moghalu. Unfortunately Moghalu fell for it. Sowore only attended first meeting and stopped coming after heard some young aspirants saying the old politicians requested that they come up with a single aspirant and report back to them (e g. Obasanjo). This show that Sowore is the new political gladiator. I am a newly registered member of his party, African Action Congress, and I fund his campaign with weekly donations via GoFundMe. |
Sowore is the most popular new breed candidate. Who is Hashim. And more so, his African Action Congress is the most organized party. |
Adakintroy:What's the definition of a pack hunter. How often do you see a lion or lioness hunting alone. |
TheZooHasFalln:Except that you are using the wrong animal. |
somalianprince:Probably not. Go on YouTube to see how some buffalos easily dealt with lions and even killing or disabling lions. A single lion can never face one buffalo. Some time they run from lions to protect their calves. I think this event happened because of poor visibility as stated in the story. |
Firefire:Government? Which government. We get one? |
Remember that bugdet for feeding in presidency is more than N1 billion. So, it make sense only to Lai Mohammed and Buhari. |
Wisdomkosi:Sowore's African Action Congress has done all these estimation based on blocking all leakage in the system before arriving at N100k minimum wage. Good job though. |
Are you people and your leaders that empty headed. The offspring of the people that enslaved your people and colonised your country show up at your door step and you are all "fighting" each other over who/where he visits. Ah! God help the black man, especially the Nigerian version. Because he is absolutely the most stupid of all. |
Grayxme:Which years in government? In the late 70s/early 80s. You have no clue what you are talking about. |
Zehavi:Do you think Atiku and Buhari will show up at a debate that feature few other parties candidates. I doubt it. But they quickly rush to Chatham House in UK. |
Who is he trying to fool. A private sector businessman paying minimum wage? Crook. |
ngadaAwo:Blame the politicians who helped messed up the monarchies. |
Another Sowore African Action Congress idea on solar power is stolen again by APC government. They have been in government for almost 4yrs, and now they just suddenly jumped onto solar power after a more serious candidate has seriously been proposing this. Same way they stole changing June 12 to democracy day just after a week he announced this; hurriedly inviting Abiola family to something that just came out of the blue. No matter what, APC Buhari is getting out of power next year and neither would Atiku "smell" power. Never again. |
Naomi Campbell is on a mission, and we know what this mission all boils down to. Almighty $$$$, and probably some strong black di_k. Both go together for greedy black women and girls. |
It shall never be well with thus governor. A single senator currently receive what seven-hundred and twenty-two workers earn every month (N13 million/N18k = 722). |
What do you expect, felicitation from one "ancestor" to another "ancestor" who has been in power since 1982, that's 37years ago. I mean, don't people have sense of shame. Understandable that Buhari sent back some Cameroonian activities that escaped to Nigeria back to their death in Cameroon. |
ThankYouGod:Nigeria elites tire me o. Ah! Black man. |
veraponpo:I am still not supporting him for his action in middle-belt and his nepotistic tendencies, as well as turning blind eyes to corrupt cronies. |
Raskasal:Same thing I noted here. That Atiku? God go punish him. Though I am not supporting Buhari. African Action Congress of Sowore is my party. |
Make sense why Atiku was criticizing Buhari government for exit of two or three of these banks from Nigeria few days ago. I think.they decided to exit Nigeria because they are not receiving stolen funds as before. The grandmaster of corruption is sad that these banks leaving makes it difficult for him to move money around. |
