In a presentation released by JAMB after the policy meeting, the full result statistics and registration statistics for the 2023 UTME was released including the results of the top 10 highest candidates in JAMB 2023.

The candidate with the highest score of 365, was identified as Maduafokwa Egoagwuagwu Agnes, from Anambra State.

Another candidate from Anambra State, Nwobi Okwuchukwu David, also scored 363, becoming the second highest score for 2023 TME.

They were followed by a candidate from Edo State with 359 while two candidates from Ekiti made the list on the fourth and fifth positions, scoring 358 and 356 respectively.

Another two candidates from Delta also scored 359 and 352 respectively.

You can see Peter Obi's investment in education paying off big time. Anambra HDI is high

A student of the Anglican Girls Secondary School Nnewi (AGSS) by name *Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma* has emerged the overall best student in the 2023 Joint Admission Matriculation Board examination with an aggregate score of 362 .

The breakdown of her score goes as follows : Eng; 98 physics; 89 Biology; 94 Chem 81.

This excellent feat has brought joy and celebration to her school and the state, as her teachers, parent and fellow students were thrown into an euphoric and exhilarating mood following this outstanding academic performance.

Anambra State has once again demonstrated its pride of place as the cradle of academic excellence in the country.

Following the outstanding result, Anambra State Commissioner of Education, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh has commended the brilliant performance by Ms Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma describing it as "excellent and very outstanding".

She added the performance coming from the State has again demonstrated the investment and priority the administration of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo accords the education sector in the State.
