- In hydrolysis, there is no breakage of protein and that's what happens in the biological systems, like in our bodies. Our body is mainly water and hydrocarbons such as proteins which don't break up. An example is the blood protein, SERUM ALBUMIN.

- Now you are coming back to your senses by saying it is slow, I like that. In science, not pseudo-science, when a reaction is slow it means it cannot happen under natural conditions.
