Politics / Re: Oyo LGs: Malami's Intervention Rejected By Oyo State Government by Akingun1990: 8:08am On Jan 24, 2020
Powersurge:
I don't think there has been any time in our national history when govt has been so incompetend. We have a chief justice that could bearly comprehend simple sentences. A formal IG of police that couldn't understand things. We have an Attorney General that does not understand his duties.

I was shocked when I read in the news that Malami decleared Àmòtékùn illegal. Something that even the president cannot do unless certain conditions are met. He was obviously pressured by his Fulani brothers to take side.

Fulani herders are 4th biggest terrorist group in the world with thousands of kills to their name. He did not declear Miyetti Allah that is affiliated to a terrorist group as an illegal entity. I don't want to refer to Civilian JTF because they are doing great job. Yet they are illegal...bearing heavy arms.

Now he is issuing a threat to a state government with immunity. These are matters that are beyond Malami's office.
Thank you for this submission, You've said it all.....

Love him or hate him, Jagaban is miles ahead of the rest!
Actually, Jagaban spoke like an Elder states man, Nevertheless, my observation is that the North ascribes so Much power to itself and also whenever they are at the centre, The south west governments would have raised some observations on civilian JTF, the way the average Westerner raised...
we all knew civilian JTF didn't have any legal backing before it came into existence, and till tomorrow nobody dares Ask them to be legalized, and mind you, they bear arms.....
Doesn't that makes (Civilian JTF Illegal), Legally.....

Unexposed idiot trying to be relevant.

This what I tell people. Being in the US is not a stamp for being exposed.
So, you are comparing the environment in united States with Maiduguri, They might even park more there, they are living fine over there, What we are saying is that, how can the said elite of a war zone confidently live a life of opulence, without being remorseful of their immediate environment, and to make matter worst, they were mostly government officials and cronies.....

First problem you have is that large percentage of igbo do not support IPOB or separation of the country. For this reason, splitting Nigeria is DOA
Bro, let us be practical enough here, when was the survey carried out, when and where, few Might be speaking the mind of majority, nobody knows, that was why I was saying let the government carry out referendum, let the Easterners vote, and that would settle the whole issue once for all......

To be honest, I support their move to disgrace Nigerian politicians but not Buhari and his VP and definitely not on a diplomatic mission like this.

Second, to disgrace them, take that nonesense flag and ipob shirts off. You can't claimed to be Nigerians and at the same time yearn for biafra.

I definitely want nija politicians beat up abraod including tinubu, obj, and many top guns.
So, what country should they claim, knowing fully well that they haven't been giving Biafra as a country, is this country the first country or do you think it will be the last to disentigrate If eventually it happens, the former soviet union disentigrated, Sudan did, Korea did, Catalonia is still in the woods in Spain, ask the Easterners, whether they would want to stay or not, let there be referendum, you are keeping us together, and we all are languishing, no zone is spared, if the Yoruba and arewa are okay with the entity called Nigeria, it's fine, if the Igbo's don't want to stay in Within Nigeria, it's fine, what is the big deal whether they are with us or not.

Hope he has papers to legitimately travel and live in Japan. If not he would be deported and Kanu will not save him.

Advice

There's something called leadership by example.

Sowore called for revolution. He went to the street leading the people and was arrested instead of the people he's leading.

Kanu called on IPOB members to arrest Buhari and attack other Ibo leaders. Where is Kanu to lead this charge?

What kind of leader is calling the shots from a secret place?

When will people get sense that some people calling you to war can never allow themselves or their relatives go to war front?
Nobody is talking about war bro, peaceful protest, that is all what concerned citizens have been envisaging all these while, and the government have been resisting that, who does that, if revolution now should protest peacefully against this present régime, and people are being picked for partaking in the protest, I bet you America won't be in support of the Nigerian government, not too long ago a womon in US gave Trump the middle finger, the government didn't do anything, the only thing that happened was that she was sacked by the private firm she worked for, Note: No government official did anything against her,( we are talking of a system that works), peoples are still protesting, why won't we in this country then protest.....

We must all sit down and talk about this stuff, so many years down the line, it's still the same stuff, until we find a lasting solution and appease the Easterners, a great deal, we still going to be on this same issue year in, year out...
Yes, it was actually a war between both sides, but Easterners lost so many people....
The Easterners were fighting for a cause collectively, which was to have a greener pasture, for the duration of the war, No infighting between the Igbo's, its just terrible the state the nation Nigeria is Right now....

Somebody should help me beg Ogun state govt to sell Sango and Environ to Lagos. The population in those areas is more than Agege,Oshodi and Mushin all together but there is no development there at all, no good road when you query the govt they will tell us we don't pay our taxes to Ogun state but Lagos.

In my house in Ijoko

-I provide my water

- We constructed our roads

- we built our bridge

-we bought the transformer

-We erected our electric poles

-We built police station

-We provide security

We do virtually everything without the help of Ogun state govt .

Lagos should acquire Ogun I beg

Don't mind the ogun state government, no presence of government in sango at all, you look around what you would see are private investments here and there, from Nigerian breweries, to Avon crowncaps, to farmex Meyer, to FIDSON health, drugfield, ecomed, unique pharmaceuticals, to geepee tank, Veevee, arvee, Olympic ink, fine chemicals, parle g foods, twinster, Mr chef, shoprite, not to talk of the numerous banks that are abound there, and so many other companies, people working in these companies and also the company itself remit tax to the state government, still yet, they can't fix up a single road in sango ota, it's just so pathetic......

Nigerian should stop this nonsense of giving a dog a bad name to hang. Nigerian Police have their own excesses but the way Nigerians treat policemen in simple matters leave much to be desired. I personally have been harassed and stolen from by Policemen but that's not enough to brandish an entire force 'enemy'. The hardworking Policemen are still very much giving their best to protect and serve.

Our attitude towards Police amplified harsh reactions from some of the men/women of the force.

Am sure this so called Charles was very haughty and bellicose. Nigerians don't respect the police as law enforcers

I am still suffering in pains after a week of the intravenous injection by a quack nurse in a private hospital. I tried contacting the nursing regulatory council but their contact is not going. I am also weakened by the response in this health thread.

What if I had died? That hospital is also carrying out surgery. I have heard cases where an intestine was cut instead of appendix in such quack hospitals.

It could happen to you, a brother, relative or friend.

Can we get it right now? I am not even as concerned about my self despite the pains am going through as a result of injection given in my veins which was pumped missing my veins and thus inflating my wrists. It was terrible. I am concerned more about their butcher table.

A lot is going on. Bad things happen when good men keep silent.
