Religion / Re: I’m Nothing, But Don’t Mock My God,’ Adeboye Cautions Critics by akinwale701(m): 4:27pm On Apr 09
Kobojunkie:
1. Just curious! Would you equally have this much respect for a murderer who happens to be old enough to be your grandfather? undecided

2. This mentality that age comes before anything else is the reason why so many of the same old men who killed and uselessed your chances at a brighter future when you were all young are to this day ruling over you a lot. And the children of these same murderers will rule over even your children and their children after them. Make una continue... na so undecided

Even though you are digressing in order to score some cheap points for yourself, I'll do well to answer you appropriately. First off, if a murderer who's old enough to be my grandfather is apprehended, his judgement isn't in my hand but in the hand of the "judges" who are mostly old people. Once they've passed their judgement on him based on his crime, he's now subject to ridicule and anyone (young or old) can render him useless or even insult him.
Now, I put it to you, has anyone ever convicted Pastor Adeboye of any crime that makes him subject to public ridicule?

Quick one: If your mum does something maritally wrong (you understand "maritally"?) in the home, is it your duty as a child to convict her and rain all sort of abusive words on her? What about your father and other old respected family members? Answer that!

Your second point above is nothing but another cheap talk aimed at gaining unnecessary points. Always speak based on fact.

Lastly, if you're from that part of the country where children wake their father with "kicks", it's gonna be kind of fruitless engaging you in a discourse of this nature. Have a good day!

Can you say this in respect to your father or grandfather?
Religion / Re: I’m Nothing, But Don’t Mock My God,’ Adeboye Cautions Critics by akinwale701(m): 4:23pm On Apr 07
I wonder what the world has grown to become in this dispensation. Even if Pastor Adeboye is not your Pastor or you don't believe in his ministry, isn't he old enough to be your grandfather or even your father? How disrespectful are the children of this generation!

Let's assume your father or grandfather makes a mistake, would you go over the Internet dragging him and saying all sort of things against him?

I have a coursemate that does video graphy that year I can reach him out.

But assuming you can't get anyone to teach you, you can meet anyone that does photoshoot and ask them to refer someone to you, then you get a Udemy course that teaches videography to follow up.

That way you can have resources to experiment on what you learnt.

I will get back to you anyway

Thanks for your input. I'll look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you.

If you can cook, consider the bee's (I mean bole, bean and fish, you fit add akamu joi undecided)

If you want tech skill, consider videography and all those photo shoots (no be everything be codes)

If you no know book like us, consider plumbing, electrical wiring, bricklaying

If you get land, consider palm oil processing/business

Etc....
But in all, it's easier for you to run a service based business than a product based. The service based will require less capital than the product based...

I hope you this makes sense

You really make sense sir. Please do you have any idea on how I get to learn videography? I'm really interested in it.
Romance / Re: Bride Walks Up To Me And Whispered In My Ear That I made The Marriage Happen by akinwale701(m): 10:22am On Nov 17, 2023
guobe:
I was in the traditional marriage ceremony of my colleague in the office today, and when I was there with my other office colleagues, the bride whose traditional wedding rite was just concluded walked up to me and whispered that I was actually the reason the marriage was holding.

I had to do a flashback and remembered that when she was a youth corper in my place of work.

I Jokingly took her hands and introduced her to all my male colleagues in the office telling them that she is a nice person and that they exchange contacts with her.

One of my sharp colleagues I introduced to her will be getting married to her.
May the good Lord bless their union in Jesus name.

You're the next good man on Earth after me.

Nothing like fake , oraimo power do have issues, I have people that have 40000mah it stops working under 2 weeks it's original, I have a friend that sells power bank in My presence someone return power bank he bought not more than 4 days ago it's completely dead he shows me dead power bank he returns to the company for them to change it for him, even that 27000mah is there, that is an issue with oraimo power bank, that your own is working doesn't mean others didn't have problems with theirs.

That doesn't still mean Oraimo Power bank is a bad power bank. You people always look for ways to bring others down. Oraimo product is one of the best products our there. Take it or leave it.

It's a bad sign.

You sef, why would you accept such treatment from her? She does this because she knows you'll succumb. How is cooking slavery ? Won't she cook her own food? If you cook for her, does it mean she is enslaving you ? Since you brought the money, why can't she cook? Isn't marriage a teamwork anymore?

Well, if I were you, I'll pause everything. Introduction can go to hell, just pause. Then make sure you get this cleared before carrying over. But its a bad sign. But work on yourself man. If she know you won't take this, she won't do it. The way people treat you is a mirror to your standard.

1. How do we know what Elohim counts as sin since He doesn't actually state this openly?

2. Isn't this biased? Sins get counted for some and not for others.

The Torah is His Word where His Laws are clearly stated. Asking whether this is biased or not is out of it, remember that even human Laws make provisions for "minors", so those under Bar Mitzvah age can be termed "minors".
Religion / Re: Why There Are No Aborted Or Dead Babies In Hell by akinwale701(m): 12:05pm On Nov 28, 2021
KillIgbohoN0W:

Thanks.

But are you aware that there are some 10/11 year olds that have committed crimes? So they will also go to heaven abi?

I quite understand that. What actually determines a sin or not is whether Elohim counts it as sin or not. Irrespective of what humans think, speaking in Tehilim 32:1,2, David, said "Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
2. Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit."

So, there are instances whereby Elohim doesn't count sin against humans and according to the Torah, children below Bar Mitzvah age(s) are covered as they are considered naïve at that time. It may seem hard to believe but that is the Truth from the Torah. Shalom Lekha.
Religion / Re: Why Do Christians Worship On Sundays? by akinwale701(m): 11:55am On Nov 28, 2021
Solofresh2:
Hello Nairaland Christians, have you for once wondered why you christains worship on Sundays and not the Sabbath day.

If you study your Bible well, you will realize that when GOD was done with his creations,he rested on the Seventh day and blessed it saying we should keep it holy.

Now, looking at the days of the week, the seventh day of the week is Saturday and not Sunday.Sunday is the first day of a new week.
So,why do we worship on Sundays and not the seventh day of the week?
Are we really following God's commandments at all or we are just deceiving ourselves?

Christians worship on Sunday in reckoning with the Day Jesus was resurrected, being Sunday. Jews, however, worship on Saturday according to the Divine Law of the Torah.

KillIgbohoN0W:
So what age do humans start qualifying for heaven/hell?

That is age 13 for Boys and 10 for girls.

In Judaism, this is what we call "Bar Mitzvah" meaning "Son (of) commandment." It is the age at which children identify themselves and are able to discern between committing sin or not.
