PoliticsRe: Amnesty International drags Badeh, Ihejirika, others to ICC for War Crimes - AI by akoaki(m):
ehie:
International standards set by the US like war mongering, aiding governments to topple leaders, supplying arms to Islamist and people becoming the collateral damage,.international best practices when it only favours your side then spout hypocrisy ...Nigeria should adopt Russian and China policies, arm itself to the tilt, become independent and stay out of unnecessary conflict.
Nigerians must begin to speak and write from the position of knowledge , not of ignorance .
PoliticsRe: Amnesty International drags Badeh, Ihejirika, others to ICC for War Crimes - AI by akoaki(m):
Nigerians of all classes must start to embrace and adopt international best practices in all we do in order to avoid some of these embarassments from around the world.
PoliticsRe: More Photos Of Buhari At Niger Republic Today by akoaki(m): 6:19pm On Jun 03, 2015
I dont like seeing our polilitical office holders in flowing gowns during official business. I think they should start dressing smart to potray some seriousness on the job.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Is Capable Of Leading Nigeria - Edwin Clark by akoaki(m):
It should be difficult for sensible nigerians to take many of our erstwhile national leaders and polititians serious in whatever they do or say.
PoliticsRe: See The Service Chiefs In Motion As Captured By Bayo Omoboriowo by akoaki(m): 10:30pm On Jun 02, 2015
bushdoc9919:
Most Nigerians of a certain age do not take good care of their health.

Until things get bad.

It isn't just our Army chiefs....how many Nigerians who are not in our armed forces or Police are in a good state of health....and that even includes the slim ones?

Time for a national policy on keeping fit.
Most Nigerians would not like to hear this because they always prefer to be in denial. Rather than go to the hospital for check ups, you would see them in the worship centers praying fervently for good health and long life. Africa is the home of ignorance.
PoliticsRe: Ebonyi State Government Creates Ministry Of Religion by akoaki(m): 10:20pm On Jun 02, 2015
Obiagelli:
What is wrong with our leaders? What exactly is this ministry supposed to do? To even think he will appoint a commissioner for this purpose is unbelievable
I did not expect anything better than that because most Nigerians have been blinded by religion. And don't be surprised, he might have done it to please some local ' powerful 'pastors who prayed for him during the elections . Quite unfortunate.
CrimeRe: Suspected CBN Staff Being Taken To Court Today [photo] by akoaki(m): 8:13pm On Jun 02, 2015
The definition of the word 'corruption' has now changed in nigeria.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor W.f Kumuyi In Tivs Attire. by akoaki(m):
Smart and cerebral nigerians should stop adoring these so called men of god. At best, they can be described as 'gods of men' on earth considering the way most of them have turned themselves to objects of worship by their lazy and gullible followers. Religion has failed to fulfill its original purpose and that is why most advanced countries have jettisoned it for hard work and realism to achieve prosperity. It has not contributed anything meaningful to the progress and posterity of nigerians other than backwardness, fraud and unholy alliance with the political class to rape the country. These religious leaders know these facts but continue to deceive and scam their hypnotized followers for self-enrichment.

Foreign AffairsRe: Zimbabweans Thank Nigerians And Sahara Reporters For Thrashing President Mugabe by akoaki(m):
Mugabe and his likes are probably the reason why the West refer to black africans as monkeys. To remove this derogatory nomenclature, it is time we start to address and challenge our problems with courage, vigour and determination to get results. When it comes to fighting for positive change, nigerians are very timid and would prefer to grumble and suffer to death. No wonder the holy book says that right from the days of john the baptist, the kingdom of heaven had suffered violence and it is only the bold and the violent that taketh it by force. No good things come easy but nigerians love easy life without wanting to fight believing most times that only God can change their situation through prayers.
PoliticsRe: NDLEA Applies For Buruji’ S Extradition To US by akoaki(m): 6:26pm On Jun 02, 2015
If Nigeria will begin to adopt world best practices in everything it does locally and internationally , it would not take long before the country's lost glory and respect is regained and its destined goals achieved.
PoliticsRe: Hilarious Photo :president Buhari's News Conference . Give This Photo A Name. by akoaki(m): 5:05pm On Jun 02, 2015
Many lazy folks on nairaland adore slowpokes, lazy , fraudulent and regressive leaders and that is why they conceive and write evil about anyone t who is hardworking, progressive and means well for the country.

SOUPF:
Before you post that hate comment ,ask yourself what you would gain after unleashing that hate part of you,if nothing, then its not worth it..
criticize objectively and let the peace within you radiate through your words and actions..Nigeria can only get better...SAY NO TO VIOLENCE..
You would find the worst posts on this forum. Most of the language you"ll find here are unpolished, uncouth and hateful. Only a handful of them would pass a test of sensibility. In here , the wild animals are always on the loose.

If people like you will constitute the new opposition in this country/NL, then it's very unfortunate.
Most of today's youths may turn out to be worst nigeria's future leaders judging by their present uncouth conducts.
PoliticsRe: PDP Raises Alarm Over Fresh Plot To Remove Fayose; Begs Buhari To Intervene by akoaki(m): 3:26pm On Jun 01, 2015
Clerverly:
No! Fayose needs to be taught that impunity does not pay! This mentality of let's forget everything that had happened is the very reason Nigeria is where it is

today! Let them at least use the remaining 5 days and remind him that power is actually transient!

The man is a disgrace!
Am happy today to read an opinion similar to mine. Thanks to this poster.

dullard old man...stop talking n start working.
I hate to say this, let there be some decorum on nairaland. The moderators have a big job on their hands to ensure that some uncouth , frustrated and uncultured posters dont soil the image of the organisation. We are in a new era where decency , patriotism and common sense should guide our public conduct.
Christianity EtcRe: If Christ Is The True Only Way To Heaven, What Of These People ?? ( Must Read) by akoaki(m): 7:14pm On May 31, 2015
Greatfes17:
Christ is the ultimate path to heaven but not "ONLY" through him that everyone must be saved.

Those who are not previledged to know him are saved by their good dids and love for one another.

Those who existed before him on earth, were saved through faith, good deeds, and love for one another.

WARNING: pretending you dont know him and hence relying on your good dids, etc. alone for redemption is not enough. Therefore you are almost guaranteed doom. Be aware!!!
Does this imply that muslims who didn't confess and profess Jesus will go to hell? I am reluctant to believe this because Mohammed was also believed to have been sent by God. I think having a sound direct relationship with God is what matters and not how many churches or mosques you have attended or how big or expensive your worship garment is. Todays' worshippers have been developing relationships with the church and their pastors rather than establishing rappor with the Almighty. Modern day pastors and imams have done too much damage to the scriptures and have continued to mislead their lazy followers whose major sickness is unwilligness to read the holy books to acquire knowledge about what God demands of man. I recall that the bible says that 'my people are perished because they lack knowledge'.
Christianity EtcRe: If Christ Is The True Only Way To Heaven, What Of These People ?? ( Must Read) by akoaki(m): 6:49pm On May 31, 2015
kimond101:
The reality is what people fail to comprehend is that the one who strive to attain paradise is one who submits to the will of God and do righteous good deeds and avoid ascribing partners in worship with God.
Abraham submitted to the will of God
Joseph submitted to the will of God
David submitted to the will of God
Moses submitted to the will of God
Jesus submitted to the will of God
Muhammad submitted to the will of God
Everyone one of them was sent at a particular time. And whoever follow their way at that time shall not perish but have eternal life if God wills.
None of them ever said you should worship them neither did they call themselves God.
To submit to the will of God alone without ascribing partners with him is only defined by one religion and that is Islam.
Thanks for stating that none of the people you mentioned never said people should worship them unlike what we have now where the worshippers relegate God / Jesus and worship their pastors and imams instead.
PoliticsRe: Probe CAN, TAN, Super-rich Nigerians, Anglican Bishop Urges Buhari by akoaki(m): 6:33pm On May 31, 2015
mansmx20:
He should let CAN be, if there is any charge upon them, he should just block all loop hols. Some cristain will not understand the motive, he should leave religion body, because Nigerians are very sensitive when it comes to religion
As long as the probe will cover all segments of the society , nothing bad will happen. Nigerians fear everything around them and that is why the larger society is very poor while the few that are bold and daring are busy milking the country dry. Before the last elections, only few nigerians believed there will be no crisis while most (including the so called religious leaders) expressed utmost fear and even prophesised doom. We must begin to see national issues as they are without unnecessary prejudices if nigeria must prosper.

Buhari can never probe CAN dat will be d last tin he will do even buhari no where his probe will end becos it will cause crises b/w Christian n Moslem
The fear of doing the right things has been the bane of nigeria's problems. We fear to talk about religion and other socio- political maladies in the society for for no good reason. The journey to solving a problem starts with discussing it constructively in the public domain. Nigerians must begin to purge themseves of this spirirt of fear and suspicion if the country must move forward.

i don't trust pastors anymore. most are just demons in sheep clothings...mtachwww
The fear of pastors may be the beginning of wisdom. Nigerians have been scammed with prayers and miracles for long and nobody seems interested in addressing this malady. Remove religion and there will be more peace and prosperity in our society. Has anyone pondered to ask what Nigerians have benefited from religion all this while ? Maybe poverty, backwardness and ignorance.

NYSCRe: What Is Wrong With This NYSC Photo ??? ( Photo ) by akoaki(m): 8:58pm On May 27, 2015
The day nigerians decide to relegate religion and adopt God and love , great things will start to happen in the country. Religion is a department of corruption that has almost torn the fabric of our society into shreads. The most religious countries of the world are also the poorest , including nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Don’t Prosecute Jonathan, Bayelsa PDP Chieftain Begs Buhari by akoaki(m): 8:10pm On May 27, 2015
Why are nigeria's leaders so shameless and irresponsible in their personal and public conduct ? To some of us who have seen how leaders behave and talk in other climes, it is embarassing to hear some people threaten the peace of a sovereign state like nigeria for whatever reason. As far as the probe will be fair and free from interference, let it happen so that nigeria can regain her lost glory.
PoliticsRe: Valedictory Session Of The Federal Executive Council (photos) by akoaki(m): 5:56pm On May 27, 2015
There is urgent need for some decorum on this forum. From what i have observed on nairaland, many of the young posters here will turn out to be bad future leaders; maybe worse than what we have now. Whoever has ears, let him hear and change now.
PoliticsRe: Minister Rides Bicycle To Jonathan's Last FEC Meeting by akoaki(m): 1:15pm On May 27, 2015
There is nothing so special about riding a bicycle and i dont think any sensible nigerian should care even if any member of the outgoing FEC walks with his head. They have overstayed their welcome.
