Petyprincess:Awesome. Smoking the veggies is key. You should cut the tomato open next time. Well done |
Kobojunkie:I purposely ignored your mention because I don't want issues. Every Chef knows the function of Vinegar; a cooking and cleaning liquid. I will advice you use Google to satisfy your curiosity. Thanks |

LordReed:How was it |
Miracood2:I'm angry. May God not let others eat the fruit of our labour. The staff should share 5 buns abeg ![]() |
LordReed:I wish I could send a voice note...too weak to type. For marinating: Wash your protein (meat) in vinegar water or salted water to remove any yamayama Allow to dry a bit or pat dry with a paper towel The next steps depend on you...I ain't a barbecue chef nor expert in grilling. You may decide to put your meat in a bowl and squeeze lemon juice in them. The juice helps to tenderize the meat; ensuring your spices get absorbed into the meat Now....add whatever spices you want (black pepper, blended habanero and onions, curry, thyme, rosemary, parsley, oregano, salt, a bit of butter, soy sauce, seasoning, spirit (vodka or whiskey....this is not necessary though). Work in the spices into the meat with your clean hands. Allow to sit on the counter or in your refrigerator for 3 - 10 hours, as the case may be. You can then grill, airfry or steam. You might decide to keep it simple by using just pepper, salt and seasoning. Sometimes, I crazily squeeze in orange or pineapple juice. Sometimes when it is almost ready, I glaze with honey mixed with pineapple juice. Just do you or do crazy .It's your kitchen, experiment and do crazy things till you satisfy your taste buds or that of your consumers. Regards |
LordReed:Sorry. I didn't see the tips part. I'm not really a barbecue pro. However, what do you intend marinating? Do you know how to prep a marinade? |
duchaB:Thank you. Happy Sunday. LordReed:Congratulations. |

Have you been dreaming of owning a small garden at home? Do you want to grow healthy food but have no clue on the basics of farming/gardening? I've heard many people talk about how they love to grow their food at home, but are unsure on how to start. Many complain of limited space at home; truth is, you don't need much space to grow healthy food. While growing your own garden is a major undertaking, it doesn't have to be hard. "Container Gardening with Akpos" is here to guide you. This is a 3-weeks guide and mentorship on the basics of how to grow vegetables (tomato, pepper and cucumber) and herbs (thyme, basil, lemon balm, oregano, etc) using containers. Enrol today by sending a DM or WhatsApp +234.8028950.546 This is a special (launch) offer; it will never be this low again. Now is the best time to join this community of new gardners and farmnatics. Kindly follow my Farmnatics page @farmnatics. Let us build a sustainable growing community. Note: We will kick off second week of this month. We will be using Clubhouse and WhatsApp (recommendation are welcomed). 21 slots are left! Apologies for derailing.
