Prest.onn and AKPOSY please come to my rescue. What's your phone megapixel? What's your source of light? The above questions are part of the keys to getting good photos. My food photos are shot with my friends phone (great megapixel), Samsung S8. I also use a ring light as source of light. It brings life to the photo! You can use direct sunlight too. Ensure your camera lens are clean. Wipe off any dust there |

Kobojunkie: How large is this planting space you have there?
I love that the plants are in recycled bags, all growing in rows. What other crops do you grow in this set up? I'm sorry for the mix up guys. The harvest was not from my garden but a farm I currently manage. We use container farming method (we grow in sacks) and the size should be about 500 Sqm. We have purple cabbage, bell peppers (Orange, green and yellow) and Irish potatoes (interested peeps can place order....we will be harvesting in 2 months time) Disclaimer: It ain't my personal farm but a farm I manage for someone. Pics below is my purple cabbage Cc. GboyegaD Cousin9999 I have tomato (beefsteak and plum), bell peppers, pumpkin/squash, Chinese cabbage, watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumber, raspberry, basil, scent leaf, thyme, Citronella (mosquito repellent plant) and Aloe vera in my garden. With exception to tomato and watermelon, I have one each of these plants.

Mariangeles: Looks really nice. Did you use margarine or oil? I used oil for the first stage and margarine for the caramel. First thinģ I did was add oil about 3 tablespoon to my pot. I allowed it to get hot them proceeded to adding the half cup of popcorn kernels. I mixed till the oil coated the entire kernels. I covered and allowed it to do its job. For the caramel, I can't remember the exact measurements. However, I used margarine, sugar, cinnamon and/or vanilla. I added sugar to a dry pot and allowed it to caramelize, I added the margarine, salt and flavour. Mix thoroughly and poured the already bland popcorn and mix fast before the caramel solidifies (Jos is cold so the process is rapid). Spread out in a tray and allowed it cool before breaking them apart. Forgive my typos....I'm tired

lahips: While Akposy is avoiding meat, I guess it's all I can lean on now, meat and salad is a life saver for weight watchers Like me. Still in the process.... Na wa for temptation cococandy: Yea February is heart health awareness month that probably why all those challenges are popping up everywhere.
I don’t know if I can totally avoid red meat Although it’s a healthy lifestyle Oh! Thanks....I didn't know until now. Emmyreal4: the Lord is your strength. Amen |

cococandy: Why the no red meat?
Cause heart month? No. I saw many people online doing many challenges. I decided to do the "no red meat" challenge because I'm addicted to red meat...I buy as low as #200 worth, boil and eat as snacks almost daily. I felt like I'd die but here I am in week 3 . I can't wait for the month to end. I even tied and freeze goat meat (chevon) and cow meat (beef) that my neighbour gave me with his birthday party rice. I'm holding myself with strong cuffs not to break this particular challenge. Next will be bread and pasta...it may never happen though |

I made my first croissants but unfortunately, it wasn't a hit. Making of croissants (puff pastry) is an art most chefs are yet to perfect.
This may not look like the popular croissants but it tastes super nice and expensive...Maybe it's because of the butter used. Butter is expensive compared to our usual baking margarine. Butter (Ambassador) costs 2000 per 250g pack while margarine costs 330 per 250g. Why is butter this expensive? Any idea?
Happy weekend
