cococandy: Homemade bread by DH. He tried.
I’m not even that good at bread making He did a good job! I'm trying an Italian bread. I'll post when it's ready BlueRayDick: How did u achieve this shape for cutting the yam? I only see this shape in those ready to fry pack they sell in stores.
I was thinking they use special machine or something to cut it this way just like French fries. First, I cut the yam in small round shapes. Then peel the skin and cut into long strips. It's that easy. I hope you understand Ishilove: Please can anyone suggest a simple macaroni recipe? Jollof or veggies theme will do just fine Mariangeles: You're a sweet, generous soul you know?
They look perfect. Thanks for the inspiration. Ayam blushing o BlueRayDick: This looks Yummy!

cococandy: Nescafe will work very well with this. And it has an even nicer coffee flavor than some instant coffee you find here.
You can hand whisk ( many videos I saw were hand whisking) but it will be more time consuming than using an electric hand mixer. Thanks. I'll try this out....i hope it comes out nice. What's the name again |

cococandy: Get on this dalgona coffee trend.
2 tbsp instant espresso or coffee 2 tbsp very hot water 2bsp sugar 1 cup milk of choice Flavor of choice. I used a pinch of cinnamon and few drops of vanilla essence.
Whisk coffee, sugar and hot water until frothy (stiff peaks). Add your flavors to the milk and top with the whipped coffee. Stir and enjoy. It’s delicious. Will nescafe coffee work for this? Did you use a hand mixer to whisk? |

Prestonn: Wow!! Farfalle and Tagliatelle pasta, some of my favourite shape.
You really try my Brother.. Making pasta from the scratch is very easy, no special or best way to do it, making it continuously is the key.
Once you keep trying, you gonna get use to it and it will come out perfect like a pro.
When you travel to Europe, especially Italy and see women making pasta in the street, you will fall in love with home made pasta and you wouldn't wanna buy from shops again.
Was it Strawberry powder or wine you add to get that colour? Thanks Chef I will keep trying till I attain excellence I add beets. I made the powder months back...soaked in hot water and used |

Hathor5: Oregano is great. I don't like rosemary very much but I like it with red meat. I knew you would mention thyme. I love basil a lot too. Thyme is common here. Yeah...basil is same as Curry leaf...right? I had oregano and mint plant but they died cos I applied too much fertilizer. I will get at least 4 bags of different herbs when the lockdown is over |

cococandy: I’m loving your new style these days. So much like dark background. Kudos Thanks. I'm experimenting Torie8: The first picture seems to look more garnished than the second picture Yes. It was enhanced Leesah: Wayoooo! Ga kwanu na Walahi Ba na jin hausa wella BlueRayDick: Immediately I saw that Àsaro posted by Akposy, my mind just dey tell my brain say I must chop àsaro today, it have tayed I last had one.
So I had to dash out and get ugwu leaves which I feel is the last ingredient that crowns a nourishing yam porridge.
Required : Yam, diced ponmo, dried prawns, smoked fish, palm oil, chopped ugwu leaves, seasoning, roughly blended tomatoes and pepper onions, and salt to taste.
Process: I followed a video I once watched on YouTube. So I started by heating the palm oil for few minutes and added onions to it. The roughly blended pepper was added to the mix after which I allowed it to fry for about 3 mins on medium heat before adding seasoning cubes( I used knorr chicken)
Then I added the yam to the stew on fire along with the dried prawn, diced ponmo and smoked fish to the mix. Immidiately, I added just enough water to cook the yam and added salt to taste.
I allowed it to cook for 14 minutes and checked to see it was done, so I added the already washed chopped ugwu leaves and allowed it to simmer for 2 minutes before stirring every every together. I took it off the fire after 2 more minutes and served.
Lunch is served You kan garnish am pass me. Na just yam and spinach i use. How was the taste. Once this is over (lockdown), I plan on making a unique Asaro . Also, I don't use that fry method. I just add the oil to the cooked yam and do the needful Plead: Dinner. Offo soup

aeion: That's a really hard question, lol. I'm wracking my brain trying to describe it, considering I'm addicted to it. There're 6 different types of Salmon, and each has a different taste and texture from the others. Chinook (King Salmon) is my favorite. It's more meaty, creamy and buttery in taste than the others, nor does it taste like other types of fish I eat.
I'm sure it's sold in Nigeria.
Shrimp is plentiful in Nigeria. Perhaps you've tasted it before and didn't know (?). Interesting. Good to know. Maybe I've eaten it...it may be the dried shrimp.. Yuneehk: Our very own chef-cum-photographer. Thanks BlueRayDick: Alright thank u.
Which particular editing app do you you use? I use Inshot and Snapseed most of the time. Plead: Na techno spark 4 clear like this Tecno Spark Youth actually....I dunno why spark 4 keeps coming to my mind Plead: @akposy this picture was snapped with iPhone 7 Hmmm. BlueRayDick: The first picture looks more colorful and bright.... Yeah. The second pics was the best my phone could give me with natural light and focus .l The first pics is an enhanced product of the second pics. Many Samsung, iPhone and other high tech smartphone can achieve the second pics straight up without enhancement. It all depend on the phone you're using When taking pics, ensure there's sufficient light (either sunlight or artificial light). Allow the pics to stay focused on what you're snapping...it will show a circle and the pics will become clearer...then take the shot without shaking your hands until it is captured. You can proceed to enhance if your phone camera is bad like mine... I use either normal phone camera modifications, Instagram filters, Inshot or Snapseed. That's all I do. Nothing more Meanwhile....the spaghetti is my dinner...Gracias
